Steve Young

Jon Steven "Steve" Young (born October 11, 1961) is a former professional American football quarterback who played 15 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Young played college football for Brigham Young University (BYU), and played professionally for the Los Angeles Express of the United States Football League (USFL), and the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers. Young was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1992 and 1994, and was the MVP of Super Bowl XXIX. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. At the time of his retirement, he had the highest passer rating among NFL quarterbacks with at least 1,500 passing attempts (96.8). As of October 2015, he is ranked fourth all-time, and is ranked highest amongst retired players. His 43 career rushing touchdowns is second among quarterbacks, while his 4,239 rushing yards ranks third all time. Young also won a record six NFL passer rating titles.

MLB: The Show

MLB: The Show is a Major League Baseball video game series produced by SCE San Diego Studio, a development team that is part of SCE Worldwide Studios. The series debuted in 2006 with MLB 06: The Show for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. There has been a new release in the series every year since 2006, and since MLB 07: The Show in 2007, every game released has also been available for the PlayStation 3. MLB 12: The Show, which was released in March 2012, is also the first game in the series to not be available for the PS2 or PSP and the first game in the series to available for the PlayStation Vita, Sony's new handheld.

The series is the successor to 989 Studios' MLB series. All installments have three commentators and they provide the play-by-play on what's happening during the game.

Mike Stud

Michael Seander (born October 30, 1988), known by his stage name Mike Stud, is an American hip hop recording artist and former college baseball player. His first musical recognition came with the release of viral single “College Humor,” which was originally recorded on GarageBand as a joke by Seander, while he was a relief pitcher at Duke University.

Early life

In 2006, Seander graduated from St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. At 6’2”, he lettered in both baseball and basketball. Also in 2006, Seander was named Rhode Island's 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year. In earning this title, he also won a Louisville Slugger and an athletic scholarship to Duke University. Seander earned 2nd team all-state honors in basketball after averaging 21 points and 7 rebounds as a senior. He would find even more success on the baseball diamond, earning an 8-2 record with a 0.72 ERA and 88 strikeouts for the Saints as a junior. In his senior season, he posted a 9-2 record, an ERA of 0.91 and struck out 107 en route to being named both the Gatorade Player of the Year and Louisville Slugger Player of the Year in Rhode Island.

MLB Network

MLB Network is an American television sports channel dedicated to baseball. It is primarily owned by Major League Baseball, with television providers Comcast (through its NBC Sports Group), DirecTV, Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications having minority ownership. The channel's headquarters and studios are located in the Secaucus, New Jersey facility which formerly housed MSNBC's studios and also house the studios for the MLBAM ran NHL Network. Tony Petitti, former executive producer of CBS Sports, was named the network's first president. Petitti served as MLB Network's president until December 2014 when he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Major League Baseball. Rob McGlarry who worked as Senior and later Executive Vice-president of Business Affairs at MLB Network since 2009 was named the network's second President.

As of February 2015, MLB Network is available to approximately 69,991,000 television households (60.1% of cable, satellite, and telco customers) in the United States.
