The Lost Empire may refer to:
The Lost Empire is a 1983 fantasy adventure film directed by Jim Wynorski. It stars Melanie Vincz, Raven De La Croix, Angela Aames and Angus Scrimm
The film opens at a jewelry shop in Chinatown, which contains a statue with one glowing red eye. Three masked figures kill the store’s owner, then try to pry the eye free. The police arrive, and after a bloody fight, all of the intruders and all but one of the policemen are dead, with the lone survivor being seriously wounded.
The next day, children are being held hostage in an elementary school. A black-clad figure enters and takes on the terrorists, killing all three before revealing that she is Inspector Angel Wolfe (Melanie Vincz) of the L.A.P.D. A man enters the school room and Angel strikes him, breaking his nose and knocking him down, before realizing that the newcomer is Federal Agent Rick Stanton (Paul Coufos), an old friend. The two spend the night together.
The next morning, Angel receives a phone call telling her that her brother Rob (Bill Thornbury), is in the hospital after the jewelry shop confrontation. Angel and Rick rush to his side, and Rob gives Angel a strange star-shaped object and a cryptic message that "the Devil exists, and the Eye knows where". Rick recognises the star and tells Angel about the legend of Lee Chuck (Angus Scrimm), who gained immortality at the price of giving the devil a new soul every day.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire is a 2001 American traditionally animated science fiction action-adventure film created by Walt Disney Feature Animation—the first science fiction film in Disney's animated features canon and the 41st overall. Written by Tab Murphy, directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise, and produced by Don Hahn, the film features an ensemble cast with the voices of Michael J. Fox, Cree Summer, James Garner, Leonard Nimoy, Don Novello, Phil Morris, Claudia Christian, Jacqueline Obradors, and Jim Varney in his final role before his death. Set in 1914, the film tells the story of a young man who gains possession of a sacred book, which he believes will guide him and a crew of mercenaries to the lost city of Atlantis.
Development of the film began after production had finished on The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996). Instead of another musical, the production team decided to do an action-adventure film inspired by the works of Jules Verne. Atlantis was notable for adopting the distinctive visual style of comic book creator Mike Mignola. At the time of its release, the film had made greater use of computer-generated imagery (CGI) than any of Disney's previous animated features; it remains one of the few to have been shot in anamorphic format. Linguist Marc Okrand created a language specifically for use in Atlantis, while James Newton Howard provided the score. The film was released at a time when audience interest in animated films was shifting away from hand-drawn animation toward films with full CGI.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire, released on May 22, 2001, is the soundtrack to the 2001 Disney animated film of the same name. Consisting primarily of James Newton Howard's score, it also includes the Diane Warren penned song, "Where the Dream Takes You", performed by Mýa.
All songs written and composed by James Newton Howard, except "Where the Dream Takes You" by Diane Warren.

The Lost Empire may refer to:
The last sharp shooter
The lasy of shadows
The prisoner,
And the little boy
The last sharp shooter
Came to the sign of three
All together in the lost empire
Searching for the mystery
The paths lead them
Through the waste land
Determined they go on
All the way to the dark tower
On their way to a better world
Following the light
Memories haunt them
Dreams warn them
They watch through day and night
Nothing can be certain
Only the voices rule
The voices in their heads
The last sharp shooter
Came to the sign of three
All together in the lost empire
Searching for the mystery
The mighty and mysterious tower
That is their goal
What they will find there
Nobody knows
The last sharp shooter
Came to the sign of three
All together in the lost empire
