SO THIS IS ME 3 MONTHS AGO READING MY SUICIDE LETTER (2/3 months after my attempt) (Second suicide attempt on November 27) I want to clarify that I do use names in this letter but I decided to upload this video raw without editing because I like that purity. Also that when I attempted suicide, the letter was published on facebook, sent to people, hand written etc. So it was already publicised apart from this video. Most of these people in the letter don't mean anything to me now as i've moved on from most of these people but I will always appreciate the memories. Sorry for uploading a day late I was too busy raving with Aoki c:
Please let me know if you want me to share the text letter on a publication or whatever cause when I read this letter, I was having a bad night and I was mumbling and just worrying in the back of my mind.

What does a person say in a suicide note? "Kthxbye" comes to mind... or "YOLOLOLOLOLOL" but that would be a troll goodbye. A serious final note before someone commits suicide would probably not that clear or logical. It would most likely be unreasonable (as most forms of suicide lack reason) and overly emotional... you could say I'm just making this up, but the suicide notes read in this video mostly fall within that description.
Long story short? Teens, wait till you're no longer teens to figure out if living is worth it, the crazy chemicals in your brain? Probably the main reason why you're unhappy... literally.

17 year old transgender teen Leelah (Josh) Alcorn committed suicide on Sunday Dec. 28th by walking in front of a tractor trailer on a highway in Ohio. A few hours later, her suicide note, which she posted on her Tumblr page through scheduled publishing, went up. In the heartbreaking suicide note, she blamed her death on her religious parents who she said refused to acknowledge her gender and forbade her from transitioning into a girl. Read her suicide note below...
If you are reading this, it means that I have committed suicide and obviously failed to delete this post from my queue. Please don’t be sad, it’s for the better. The life I would’ve lived isn’t worth living in. because I’m transgender. I could go into detail explaining why I feel that way, but this note is probably going to be lengthy enough as it is.
To put it simply, I feel like a girl trapped in a boy’s body, and I’ve felt that way ever since I was 4. I never knew there was a word for that feeling, nor was it possible for a boy to become a girl, so I never told anyone and I just continued to do traditionally “boyish” things to try to fit in.
When I was 14, I learned what transgender meant and cried of happiness. After 10 years of confusion I finally understood who I was. I immediately told my mom, and she reacted extremely negatively, telling me that it was a phase, that I would never truly be a girl, that God doesn’t make mistakes, that I am wrong. If you are reading this, parents, please don’t tell this to your kids. Even if you are Christian or are against transgender people don’t ever say that to someone, especially your kid. That won’t do anything but make them hate them self. That’s exactly what it did to me.

Suicide note
A suicide note or death note is a message left behind before a person has committed suicide, or who intends to commit suicide.
It is estimated that 25–30% of suicides are accompanied by a note. According to Gelder, Mayou and Geddes (2005) one in six leaves a suicide note. The content can be a plea for absolution or blaming family and friends for life's failings. However, incidence rates may depend on ethnicity, method of suicide, and cultural differences, and may reach rates as high as 50% in certain demographics. A suicide message can be a written note, an audio message, or a video.
Reasons

What does a person say in a suicide note? "Kthxbye" comes to mind... or "YOLOLOLOLOLOL" but that would be a troll goodbye. A serious final note before someone commits suicide would probably not that clear or logical. It would most likely be unreasonable (as most forms of suicide lack reason) and overly emotional... you could say I'm just making this up, but the suicide notes read in this video mostly fall within that description.
Long story short? Teens, wait till you're no longer teens to figure out if living is worth it, the crazy chemicals in your brain? Probably the main reason why you're unhappy... literally.

What does a person say in a suicide note? "Kthxbye" comes to mind... or "YOLOLOLOLOLOL" but that would be a troll goodbye. A serious final note before someone commits suicide would probably not that clear or logical. A few hours later, her suicide note, which she posted on her Tumblr page through scheduled publishing, went up. In the heartbreaking suicide note, she blamed her death on her religious parents who she said refused to acknowledge her gender and forbade her from transitioning into a girl. Read her suicide note below...
If you are reading this, it means that I have committed suicide and obviously failed to delete this post from my queue. Please don’t be sad, it’s for the better. The life I would’ve lived isn’t worth living in. because I’m transgender. I could go into detail explaining why I feel that way, but this note is probably going to be lengthy enough as it is.
To put it simply, I feel like a girl trapped in a boy’s body, and I’ve felt that way ever since I was 4. I never knew there was a word for that feeling, nor was it possible for a boy to become a girl, so I never told anyone and I just continued to do traditionally “boyish” things to try to fit in.
When I was 14, I learned what transgender meant and cried of happiness. After 10 years of confusion I finally understood who I was. I immediately told my mom, and she reacted extremely negatively, telling me that it was a phase, that I would never truly be a girl, that God doesn’t make mistakes, that I am wrong. If you are reading this, parents, please don’t tell this to your kids. Even if you are Christian or are against transgender people don’t ever say that to someone, especially your kid. That won’t do anything but make them hate them self. That’s exactly what it did to me.
