Plot: The medical Dr. Owen leads a three-men SWAT team inside the sealed off building to get blood sample from the girl Medeiros to develop an antidote. They are attacked by the zombie-like creatures and Dr. Owen locks a zombie inside a room using a crucifix. He discloses that the patient zero was possessed by the evil and the Vatican sent him to save mankind. Further, they will only leave the building under his voice command. Meanwhile, three teenagers follow a fireman and a man that breaks into the building through the sewage system to rescue his colleague and daughter respectively and they are trapped inside. They are lured and release the evil creature that was locked by Dr. Owen in a room. Out of the blue, the lead team meets the journalist Ângela Vidal hidden inside the building.

Plot: Crash Corrigan, a recent graduate of Annapolis, and Diana, a go-getting reporter, join Professor Norton for a search for the source of a string of earthquakes, Atlantis. They ride Prof. Norton's rocket submarine searching the sea and little Billy Norton, the professor's son stows away, of course. When they find Atlantis they are caught in a war between peaceful Atlanteans, note their white capes, and war-monging Atlanteans, note their black capes. After many harrowing moments for Crash, Diana, Prof. Norton and Billy, they barely get away with their lives when they escape a tower of Atlantis raised to the surface for the sole purpose of dominating or destroying the Earth (Which one depends on the compliance of the upper world dwellers.)

Unga Khan: Recall the troops. With those religious fanatics under control, I'll have no more interference with my plans to destroy the upper world!

Khan's Henchman: When you succede in sending them to the bottom of the sea, Atlantis will rise once more to its former place in the sun and you will be the ruler of all things.::Unga Khan: Start the disintegrator!

Briny Deep: I'm gonna fry a parrot one of these days.

Diana Compton: Are you actually proposing to move this huge metal tower? Why?::Unga Khan: Because it contains all the machinery that has enabled me to harness the atom, the most destructive force known to science.
