Every week we live stream the world's most exciting DJs and dance acts. This Friday, we're delighted to announce that Black Butter records will be coming into The Lab to showcase the unique sound that has made it one of the most exciting labels to emerge from the UK in recent years. Representing the Black Butter sound will be Rudimental and Gorgon City, who will be joined by Yasmin providing live vocals. Gorgon City is a collaboration between two respected underground producers: Foamo and RackNRuin. The new project sees them fuse house, garage and bass music as well as other influences. You've probably heard them -- from their huge drum 'n' bass-meets-soul anthem and No. 1 single 'Feel The Love', or perhaps you got into them when The xx blogged their soulful house number 'Spoons'. Either way there's no denying that Rudimental are one of the most talented and classy dance acts to emerge in a long time. All competent musicians with a rich musical knowledge and history, they span the underground and the charts with a respectability that no one can argue with. We're delighted to have them in the lab.
