Tyler Naumowicz used a strong final day at the
NSIC Heptathlon to win CU's second consecutive title. Naumowicz’s score of 4926 was 54 points better than
Minnesota State’s Ben
Ojika score of 4872. Naumowicz joins Collin Gologoski as the only NSIC Heptathlon winners hailing from Concordia-St. Paul.
Naumowicz ‘s score is an
NCAA provisional mark, ranks him first in the NSIC this season and places him in the top 20 scores of
Division II this season.
Naumowicz’s best finish came in the shot put as he recorded the second best throw with a heave of 37-10. He was third in the pole vault (13-1.5) and the
1000m run (2:44.81) while placing fourth in the long jump (20-10) and
