Slaves play surprise set at opening night of Wolf Alice's London residency Get Tickets
The band announced the show an hour before they took to the stage

Slaves played a surprise set in London tonight (March 27), as they supported Wolf Alice on the opening date of their residency at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town.
The bands announced the performance an hour before the Tunbridge Wells duo took to the stage, following opening act Crows.
Fans in the venue seemed surprised as guitarist Laurie Vincent and drummer and singer Isaac Holman walked out and began to play.
The band opted to leave most of their bigger singles out of the set, instead putting older tracks such as 'Suicide' and 'Beauty Quest' in instead.
Before 'She Grew Old', Vincent told the crowd "We're going to take this back". The track featured on the band's 'Sugar Coated Bitter Truth' EP, which was released in 2012.
The pair also took time to wish Wolf Alice bassist Theo Ellis well, after he had to pull out of the show at the last minute due to a swollen elbow. "How's the shoulder?" Vincent asked Holman later, referring to the frontman's struggle with a dislocated shoulder that caused the band to cancel gigs last year. "Fucked," replied Holman.
Slaves' set also included some tracks from their 2015 debut album 'Are You Satisfied', such as 'Sockets'. The band closed their set with 'The Hunter'.
