Yaohnanen, also spelled Ionhanen, is a village located on the island of Tanna in Vanuatu, at about 6 km south-east of the island main town, Lenakel.
It is well known for the participation of its villagers in the Prince Philip Movement.
Yaohnanen people were featured on the second season of the Spanish television series Perdidos en la Tribu (Lost in the Tribe), in which they lived with a Spanish family during the course of 21 days, teaching them their customs and culture, and also in the first season of the same Portuguese series called Perdidos na Tribo.
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on 10 June 1921) is the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. He is the longest-serving consort of a reigning British monarch and the oldest-ever male member of the British royal family.
A member of the House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Philip was born into the Greek and Danish royal families. He was born in Greece but his family was exiled from the country when he was still an infant. After being educated in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, he joined the British Royal Navy in 1939, at the age of 18. From July 1939, he began corresponding with the 13-year-old Princess Elizabeth (his third cousin through Queen Victoria and second cousin once removed through Christian IX of Denmark) whom he had first met in 1934. During World War II he served with the Mediterranean and Pacific fleets.
After the war, Philip was granted permission by George VI to marry Elizabeth. Before the official announcement of their engagement, he abandoned his Greek and Danish royal titles and became a naturalised British subject, adopting the surname Mountbatten from his maternal grandparents. After an engagement of five months, he married Elizabeth on 20 November 1947. Just before the wedding, the King granted him the style of "His Royal Highness" and the title Duke of Edinburgh. Philip left active military service when Elizabeth became Queen in 1952, having reached the rank of commander. His wife made him a prince of the United Kingdom in 1957.
The Church of Euthanasia (also known as CoE) is a religious organization founded by Reverend Chris Korda and Pastor Kim (Robert Kimberk) in the Boston, Massachusetts area of the United States Of America in 1992.
As stated in the Church's website, it is "a non-profit educational foundation devoted to restoring balance between Humans and the remaining species on Earth." Members of this organization affirm this can only turn into a reality by a massive voluntary population reduction, which will depend on a leap in Human consciousness to species-awareness. According to Rev. Chris Korda it is likely that this Church is the world's only anti-human religion.
Its most popular slogan is "Save the Planet, Kill Yourself" and its founding ideology is set in one commandment "Thou Shalt not Procreate", and four main pillars: suicide, abortion, cannibalism (of the already dead) and sodomy ("any sexual act not intended for procreation"). The Church stresses population reduction by voluntary means only, therefore, murder and involuntary sterilization are strictly forbidden by church doctrine.

In the small village of Yaohnanen on the island of Tanna, in Vanuatu, these Pacific Islanders mythology included a "pale-skinned son of a mountain spirit" who travelled to a distant land to marry a woman of great power and renown and bring her home to his homeland. Upon viewing Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, and his wife, Queen Elizabeth II, they assumed he was the return of their mountain spirit god. Since then, they have exchanged gifts many times, only further implanting the mythology of Prince Phillip as Mountain Spirt God much deeper into the psyche of the people! Cargo cults are our most recent examples of how we see "others" and their technology, and assume their are gods from the heavens descending in giant birds! Thanks for watching! I travel to the strange island of Tanna, a land where time stands still. Scary volcanoes and strange cults await me. First stop, meeting with the people of Yoahnanen village near Lenakel; aka. the Prince Philip worshippers. Subscribe!!!
Custom dance performed by custom people at the opening of the Yoahnanan health aid post. The dancers are led out by chiefs Kawia and Tuk (of Prince Philip cult).
Top 5 Mysterious Strange Cults I don’t know about you, but when I think about crazy religious cults I imagine people in robes chanting, holding candles, worshipping aliens, and drinking kool aid laced with poison that makes you go sleepy bye bye. The stereotypical image we have of religious cults comes from the wacky antics of movements such as Heaven’s Gate and those involved in the Jonestown massacre, and so it’s no surprise that when you mention the word cult people get a little bit scared. Over the years cults have been responsible for mass suicides, terror bombings, and forcing Katie Holmes to marry Tom Cruise, which I think is totally the worst one. (4 May 2017) LEADIN: Queen Elizabeth II's husband, Prince Philip, will stop carrying out public engagements after August, Buckingham Palace has announced. On the other side of the world, a group of island villagers worship the 95-year-old prince like a god and believe his spirit will never die. STORYLINE: Villagers here have been performing traditional dances like this for generations. But there's one aspect of their culture that they've adopted more recently. They worship Prince Philip - the husband of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II. The former naval officer is known in the UK as a sports enthusiast who's a bit cantankerous at times and prone to saying the wrong thing. But to several hundred people living in a handful of remote villages on Tanna Island in the tropical Pacific archip...

Local legends apparently once told of the son of an earth spirit who had travelled far away across the sea to marry a powerful woman, and that this man would one day return to the island. In the morning I open my eyes
I'm lost in love and I wonder why
Will I ever happen to see you again
Will you ever come back to me in the end.
It's the morning of loneliness
It's the morning of emptiness
But I'm reaching up for the lie of pain
Reaching up, I'm running away!
I am ready to fly
I feel so high
I am ready to go
I lost control
I am ready to fly
I touch the sky
I am ready to fly... (2x)
Everytime when it seems like the end
then I think of you and I'm happy again
Yes, and everywhere I lay in my head
I will dream of you and I'm no longer sad.
It's the morning of loneliness
It's the morning of emptiness
But I'm reaching up for the lie of pain
Reaching up, I'm running away!
I am ready to fly
I feel so high
I am ready to go
I lost control
I am ready to fly
I touch the sky
I am ready to fly... (2x)
In the morning I open my eyes
I'm lost in love and I wonder why
Will I ever happen to see you again
