The Hollywood Squares is an American panel game show in which two contestants play tic-tac-toe to win cash and prizes. The show piloted on NBC in 1965, and the regular series debuted in 1966 on the same network. The board for the game is a 3 × 3 vertical stack of open-faced cubes, each occupied by a celebrity seated at a desk and facing the contestants. The stars are asked questions by the host, and the contestants judge the truth of their answers to gain squares in the right pattern to win the game.
Although The Hollywood Squares was a legitimate game show, the game largely acted as the background for the show's comedy in the form of joke answers, often given by the stars prior to their real answer. The show's writers usually supplied the jokes. In addition, the stars were given the questions' subjects and bluff (plausible but incorrect) answers prior to the show. The show was scripted in this sense, but the gameplay was not. In any case, as original host Peter Marshall would explain at the beginning of the Secret Square game, the celebrities were briefed prior to the show to help them with bluff answers, but they otherwise heard the actual questions for the first time as they were asked on air.
Peter often is used to refer to Saint Peter, a disciple of Jesus Christ. It can also refer to many other people, of which only a few are listed here. This page only lists people commonly referred to as "Peter" and nothing else; for others, please see List of people named Peter.

A Man Called Peter is a 1955 American drama film directed by Henry Koster and starring Richard Todd. The film is based on the life of preacher Peter Marshall, who served as Chaplain of the United States Senate and pastor of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC before his early death. It is adapted from the 1951 biography of the same name, written by his widow Catherine Marshall.
The film was a box-office hit in 1955, and it was nominated for an Academy Award in 1956 for its cinematography.
This was the final feature film of the actress Jean Peters, who played Catherine Marshall. Alfred Newman reused much of his score from his 1948 film The Walls of Jericho.

Plot: Jake Truman is just a regular guy. However, at his Grandfathers funeral he is mysteriously handed an envelope. Inside the envelope is a map of an island with the word 'Monkeyshine' written across it. Jake has serious thoughts about finding the island, but is soon made to look a fool when his colleagues at the office get wind of his exploration and brand him as a plastic pirate. After a little detective work, he finds out that 'Monkeyshine' means 'Practical Joke' and assumes that the whole thing is a cruel jibe. That is, until the girl at his office sees the map from a different angle and notices that it doesn't say 'Monkeyshine' at all, but is the name of a place somewhere altogether different, which leads Jake to find out where the map really leads. Jake must look into his soul and follow his heart to find out who he really is, and what he really wants, before he can go to the place his grandfather wanted him to go, and ultimately become the very thing his family have carried on for generations - he must become a modern day pirate in a modern day world.

I just wanted to see what a horrible place Syria is. Can be a bit boring but it sets the scene for the whole series on Syria
From the movie "A Man Called Peter". It is about Peter Marshall - (May 27, 1902 – January 26, 1949) was a Scots-American preacher, pastor of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC and twice appointed as Chaplain of the United States Senate. This video clip is his first sermon to the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church. He describes Jesus as a true man, a man's man, red-blooded... Many of our churches and Christ followers miss this about Jesus.

An exciting and high quality match between a squash legend and a young up and coming pro. A superb match with lots of great shot making. A particularly interesting contrast between the accuracy and shot selection of the veteran vs the speed and stamina of his younger opponent.
This is a talk in the series Conversion and Religious Transformation: Ancient and Modern Experiences and Paradigms. How different might the first years of the English Reformation look if we try to view them forwards rather than backwards, remembering that the first generation of converts to reform were not early “Protestants,” but late medieval Catholic Christians? This lecture will argue that we need to see the concerns of the early Reformation as emerging from, as much as reacting against, the mainstream devotional priorities of early sixteenth-century Catholicism. It will examine how reformers remained in important ways shaped by their Catholic heritage of ritual and piety, and the implications for understanding the process of conversion.
Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, Hope Lange, Carl Reiner, Suzanne Pleshette, Wally Cox, Rose Marie, Vincent Price, and Paul Lynde are all on this classic 1972 episode of The Hollywood Squares, with Master of the Squares Peter Marshall.
