Reginald Darnell Hunter (born 26 March 1969) is an American stand-up comedian based in the United Kingdom.
Hunter was born in Albany, Georgia, the youngest of nine. He undertook an acting internship in Jackson, Mississippi aged 20. His mother died in 2004.
Having initially travelled to the UK at the age of 27 as a theatre student training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Hunter became a comedian after performing his first comedy set as a dare. He received £100 for this. Realizing that he enjoyed performing comedy, and that it might be remunerative, Hunter turned his attention from acting to stand-up.
In 2006 and 2008, he participated in Project X Presents events. In 2013 he toured Ireland with his show In the Midst of Crackers.
Hunter often uses variations of the term "nigger" in the titles of his shows; Reginald D Hunter: Pride & Prejudice... & Niggas attracted some controversy, and the poster was banned from the London Underground. Likewise his tour with Steve Hughes, called Trophy Nigga, played 55 venues around the UK, yet not all the venues would use the tour title. He joked that this was because promoters didn't like the word "trophy".
A noun (from Latin nōmen, literally meaning "name") is a word that functions as the name of some specific thing or set of things, such as living creatures, objects, places, actions, qualities, states of existence, or ideas.Linguistically, a noun is a member of a large, open part of speech whose members can occur as the main word in the subject of a clause, the object of a verb, or the object of a preposition.
Lexical categories (parts of speech) are defined in terms of the ways in which their members combine with other kinds of expressions. The syntactic rules for nouns differ from language to language. In English, nouns are those words which can occur with articles and attributive adjectives and can function as the head of a noun phrase.
Word classes (parts of speech) were described by Sanskrit grammarians from at least the 5th century BC. In Yāska's Nirukta, the noun (nāma) is one of the four main categories of words defined.
The Ancient Greek equivalent was ónoma (ὄνομα), referred to by Plato in the Cratylus dialog, and later listed as one of the eight parts of speech in The Art of Grammar, attributed to Dionysius Thrax (2nd century BC). The term used in Latin grammar was nōmen. All of these terms for "noun" were also words meaning "name". The English word noun is derived from the Latin term, through the Anglo-Norman noun.

BBC Worldwide Ltd. is the wholly owned commercial subsidiary of the BBC, formed out of a restructuring of its predecessor BBC Enterprises in 1995. The company monetizes BBC brands, sells BBC and other British programming for broadcast abroad with the aim of supplementing the income received by the BBC through the licence fee.
In 2013/14, BBC Worldwide generated headline profits of £157.4m and headline sales of £1,042.3m and returned £173.8m to the BBC.
In 2012/13 it made a profit of £156.3m on a turnover of £1,115.8m. The company had made a profit of £104m on a turnover of £1,085m in the previous financial year.
BBC Worldwide's profit rate was 11.2% in 2011/2012, up slightly from 9.6% the previous year, down from a peak of 21.5% in 2002/2003, contrasting with 7.8% in 2003/2004.
In addition to broadcasting, the BBC has for much of its life also produced additional materials for sale, the profits of which would be returned to the corporation to aid in the financing of these services. The highest profile of these early products was the listings magazine Radio Times, however the net revenue gained from this in 1928 (£93,686, 10s, 1d) only equated to 10% of total BBC income.

“I've always preferred absurdist humour to humour revolving around race or gender. But that's what I'm saddled with because nobody else will talk about it. You want the truth, I'd much rather be talking about anal sex and farting.” “As far as John Terry is concerned, who cares if he is racist? Who cares? He’s a footballer. He’s just being made an example of and the destructive thing is this: For people who are racist, or near racist, this situation has done nothing to help them evolve out of it. All it has done is entrenched them in it. It has caused the very harm that it pretends that it wants to solve. It’s a lie.” “Everybody laughs at pretty much the same thing – politics, and weirdness – it’s the same subjects, just different phrasing.” “What amazes me is that no matter how clear yo...
