We’ve got Deadpool, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Captain America: Civil War, Xmen:Apocalypse, Suicide Squad, Gambit, and Doctor Strange on the Big Screen, and The Flash, Agent Carter, Preacher, Arrow, Luke Cage, The Walking Dead, Gotham, Agents of Shield, Lucifer, Daredevil, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl all hitting the small screen. What is going on!!! Madness I say, what a time to be a comic nerd and loving every minute of it! On every episode of Collider Heroes, we will be covering all of this and more, so thanks for watching here we go into the new year! The Doctor is IN!!! Doctor Strange News!!! So EW dropped the first character picts of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, as well as stunning concept art of astral travel and his sanctum sanctorum. We’ve seen that the film closely follows his origin in the comics, and Kevin Feige says they are keeping that Steve Ditko look in the dimensional travel that goes on in the film. Cumberbatch has mentioned how he himself uses meditation, Tilda Swinton has stated her character The Ancient One to be androgynous, Chewetel Ejiofor has said Baron Mordo is both a hero and villain, and Mads Mikkelson is set to be the villain, but who, is he Mephisto, Nightmare, or Dormammu? Daredevil vs Batman? Daredevil season 2 is debuting in late March, and now it seems to be on the exact day that “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is opening, March 25th. If this does indeed happen, what will this do to the BvS box office, if anything? Deadpool 2nd Trailer is better than the first! As we edge towards the first big Superhero film of the year’s release, we got another trailer released on christmas day, and this one was a doozy, funnier than the first, with more of that Ryan Reynolds flavor. How crazy is this film going to be, and can it be better than this viral marketing campaign that i never want to end?
