In 1997 we started the Athletic Trainer program here at Trinity Mother Frances with one Athletic Trainer and one school. Since our inception we have grown to serve over 30 schools with over 20 Athletic Trainers on staff. Our goal; to extend healthcare into local schools by providing Athletic Trainers at low cost to the schools. Incoming Graduate Assistants will be able to obtain their masters degree in Kineseology or other related field, with multiple options to choose where to get your degree from, including UT Tyler, Texas A&M; at Commerce, or any accredited on-line Masters program. One major benefit that sets our program apart is the amount of hands on experience. With monthly continuing education in-services and sports clinics, you will continue to gain knowledge in the field of sports medicine and learn how to improve your skills. With one of the highest Graduate Assistant salaries in the country and opportunities for scholarship and tuition waivers you'll be able to take time to enjoy the East Texas lifestyle. With multiple colleges around there is an active nightlife with plenty of places to meet new people and have a good time. Many of our trainers elect to stay right here in East Texas after graduation.
