This manual aims to increase women’s representation in all levels of elections, thus realizing the target of a minimum 35 percent. It provides potential candidates with practical advice on everything from public speaking, preparing an action plan to engaging with media. The manual also includes a summary of the political system in Viet Nam, the candidate nomination process and the role of different agencies in the candidate selection and election process.
