Plot: As the story opens, King Henry II, who ruled England from 1154 to 1189 has entered Canterbury Cathedral to do penance at the tomb of his former friend, Thomas Becket. Bare to the waist, the king kneels to receive a flogging from Saxon monks. He begins to reminisce, recalling at first the carefree, promiscuous adventures with Becket, then his favorite drinking and wenching companion. A violently emotional drama that probes the changing relationship between two young men - between two close friends bound together by similar pride of flesh and spirit who become deadly enemies as they pursue their separate destinies . . . that of king . . . and saint.

Taglines: An age of rampant lusts, abandon, runaway passions. An age brought bristling to life by two of the most exciting stars of our time! A taste for wine and women made them friends. A sudden clash made them man and martyr...which led to murder! The screen explodes with rage and passion and greatness!
Quotes:
Thomas a Becket: God rest his soul.::King Henry II: He will, He will. He'll be much more use to God than he ever was to me.
Thomas a Becket: Honor is a private matter within; it's an idea, and every man has his own version of it.::King Henry II: How gracefully you tell your king to mind his own business.
Empress Matilda: Oh, if I were a man!::King Henry II: Thank God, madam, He gave you breasts! An asset from which I derived not the slightest benefit.
King Henry II: Am I the strongest or am I not?::Thomas a Becket: You are today, but one must never drive one's enemy to despair; it makes him strong. Gentleness is better politics, it saps virility. A good occupational force must never crush. It must corrupt.
King Henry II: Don't be nervous, Bishop. I'm not asking for absolution. I've something far worse than a sin on my conscience: a mistake.
King Henry II: Let us drink, gentlemen. Let us drink, till we roll under the table in vomit and oblivion.
King Henry II: Have you any idea how much trouble I took to make you noble?::Thomas a Becket: I think so; I recall, you pointed a finger and said, "Thomas Becket, you are noble." The Queen and your mother became very agitated.
Thomas a Becket: England is a ship. The king is captain of the ship.::King Henry II: That's neat. I like that.
King Henry II: Your body, madam, was a desert that duty forced me to wander in alone. But you have never been a wife to me!
King Henry II: He's read books, you know, it's amazing. He's drunk and wenched his way through London but he's thinking all the time.

the Pope's {Vatican} Oppression of the TRUE Children of Israel {the Hebrews}
Dum Diversas [English: 'Until different'] is a papal bull issued on 18 June 1452 by Pope Nicholas V. A History Of The Jews In England The Beginning of Persecution and the Organization of Jewry
For the first time Crusading enthusiasm—hitherto at a low ebb—spread throughout England among all classes, from highest to lowest. It was inevitable that the feeling against the Jews was accentuated. The heavy exactions of the previous reign, of which they had been to some extent the instruments, were not forgotten, and there was little prospect that the policy of the government would change. After the death of the Borgia pope, Alexander VI (1492 – 1503), and upon the death of Pius III who reigned in 1503 for less than a month, the new pope, Julius II, pursued military solutions to a host of problems left to him by Alexander’s attempt to create a Borgia dynasty. Julius led papal armies in a variety of military campaigns earning the name of The Warrior Pope. He proved to be an energetic defender of the Papal States and led his military campaigns in full battle dress. His nickname was Julius the Terrible. It was Pope Julius who first established a permanent corps of the Pontifical Swiss Guard at the Vatican, and granted them the title of Defenders of the Church’s Freedom.
The Swiss Guard has varied in size over the years. Its most significant, hostile engagement was on May 6, 1527 when 147 of the 189 Guards lost their lives during the Sack of Rome in order to allow Clement VII to escape escorted by the other forty guards. They have served popes since the 16th century, operating mostly as a ceremonial escort to the pope. Swiss guardsmen must be Catholic males between the ages of nineteen and thirty years of age and at least 5′ 9″ tall. They must have the recommendation of their local parish and have served in a basic military school in Switzerland. They serve for a period of two years.
The uniform of the Swiss Guard, of which there are two styles in the Collection, is a Renaissance style weighing eight pounds. Its colors are those of the Medici coat of arms in honor of Clement VII. It is often thought that Michelangelo designed the uniform. He did not.
Service includes physical training, drills and instruction in combat. Enrollment into the Swiss Guard takes place on May 6th each year in honor of the day in 1527 when their forebears died defending Pope Clement VII.

See our playlist "Dealing with Roman Catholicism, Idolatry & the Virgin Mary" at http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFFA8D69D1B914715 with 136 videos & counting. Larry Wessels, director of Christian Answers of Austin, Texas/ Christian Debater (YouTube channel: CANSWERSTV at http://www.youtube.com/user/CAnswersTV; websites: http://www.BibleQuery.org, http://www.HistoryCart.com & http://www.MuslimHope.com) presents former Roman Catholic priest for 22 years Richard Bennett (website: http://www.BEREANBEACON.ORG) speaking on Jesuit Jorge Mario Bergoglio & his apostate Roman Catholic religious organization. When you study the facts documented in the article below, you will understand that it is imperative that you disapprove of Pope Francis and the Roman Church. No matter how cleverly Romanism is presented, to accept the Church of Rome as a genuine Christian church is mortally dangerous. In history, there are many examples of how perilous it is. For example, in Ireland in 1172, the acceptance of the Roman Church by Christian Pastors across the nation finally meant, for most people, the end of true Christian faith on that island. Thus it was that Roman Catholicism was imposed on Christian Pastors in 1172 by Pope Alexander III with the military might of King Henry II of England. The Pastors and people accepted the Church of Rome, rather than die. How different things could have been if the Pastors and people sacrificed their lives for the Gospel of grace.
In a similar way, in the 1560s, the Jesuits arrived in Poland. They created a network of schools and colleges across Poland, and they managed in a very clever way to present Romanism as the true Church. Thus it was that the Pastors, leaders, and people acclaimed the Roman Church, and what the Reformation had achieved was sadly lost for the most part. Also from 1600 to 1610 the Jesuits also were in the forefront of the Counter-Reformation in Hungary. They were successful in reconverting two-thirds of the population back to Catholicism, when the country was in its golden age of biblical faith.
Now with another clever Jesuit leading the field; i.e., Pope Francis, Romanism is foisted on the nations of the world. It is time for you and all true Christians to take a stand against the encroachment of this apostate Church.
"Refuting Pope Francis and the Roman Church" by Richard Bennett at http://www.bereanbeacon.org/analyzing-the-pope/2015/10/12/praise-or-analysis-of-pope-francis-in-the-usa.
The New York Times reported the frenzy of adulation for Pope Francis during his September 2015 visit to the United States,
“Welcomed with a fanfare of trumpets and a chorus of amens, Pope Francis introduced himself to the United States on Wednesday with a bracing message on climate change, immigration and poverty that ranged from the pastoral to the political. On a day that blended the splendor of an ancient church with the frenzy of a modern rock star tour, Francis waded quietly but forcefully into some of the most polarizing issues of American civic life.”[1]
It appeared as though no lofty controversy was beyond the insight of his judgment, and no lowly mortal beyond the reach of his mercy. And as if unseen hands were covertly orchestrating them, crowds chanted homage and acclamation for the Roman Pontiff. To all appearance the world wonders after him, in great admiration of his power, policy, and pomp. Yet very few comprehend the truth about the institution that he directs. Very few also have bothered to analyze biblically what Pope Francis actually said. An example of this is what the Pope said at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York. On September 24, 2015, Francis offered prayers for the hundreds of Muslim pilgrims killed during Islam’s Hajj; saying,
“I would like to express two sentiments for my Muslim brothers and sisters…My sentiments of closeness in the face of tragedy. Tragedy that they suffered in Mecca…In this moment I give assurances of my prayers. I unite myself with you all. A prayer to all mighty God all merciful.”[2]
This sentiment is consistent with the official teaching of the Vatican. Not only does the Roman system conceal its own wickedness, it exalts the glory that the world gives to Pope Francis. That man that claims to be the Holy Father and Head of the Lord’s Church mocks our Lord and our Heavenly Father.

Dum Diversas [English: 'Until different'] is a papal bull issued on 18 June 1452 by Pope Nicholas V. It authorized Afonso V of Portugal to conquer Saracens and pagans and consign them to "perpetual servitude. Pope Calixtus III reiterated the bull in 1456 with Inter Caetera (not to be confused with Alexander VI's), renewed by Pope Sixtus IV in 1481 and Pope Leo X in 1514 with Precelse denotionis. The concept of the consignment of exclusive spheres of influence to certain nation states was extended to the Americas in 1493 by Pope Alexander VI with Inter caetera.

Saint Aelred of Rievaulx

Saint Aelred of Rievaulx, Aelred also spelled Ailred, Aethelred, or Ethelred (born c. 1110, Hexham, Northumberland, Eng.—died Jan. 12, 1167, Rievaulx Abbey, Yorkshire), writer, historian, and outstanding Cistercian abbot who influenced monasticism in medieval England, Scotland, and France. His feast day is celebrated by the Cistercians on February 3.
Of noble birth, Aelred was reared at the court of King David I of Scotland, whose life story he later wrote and for whom he was royal steward. He entered the Cistercian abbey of Rievaulx about 1134, and from 1143 to 1147 he was abbot of Revesby in Lincolnshire. In late 1147 he became abbot of Rievaulx.
An adviser to kings as well as to ecclesiastics, Aelred in 1162 persuaded King Henry II of England to ally with King Louis VII of France in support of Pope Alexander III against the Holy Roman emperor Frederick I Barbarossa. Despite poor health, Aelred led a severely ascetic life and made numerous visits to Cistercian houses in England, Scotland, and France. His spirituality, his Christocentric doctrine, and, in particular, his writings—considered among the finest produced in England during the Middle Ages—highly influenced the Cistercians and earned him the title of “the Bernard of the north” (after the celebrated reformer Bernard of Clairvaux). By 1166 illness halted his missions.
Aelred’s surviving works deal with either devotion or history. De spirituali amicitia (Spiritual Friendship), considered to be his greatest work, is a Christian counterpart of Cicero’s De amicitia and designates Christ as the source and ultimate impetus of spiritual friendship. Speculum caritatis (The Mirror of Charity), which Aelred wrote at Bernard’s insistence, is a treatise on monastic life. His historical works include the incomplete Genealogia regum Anglorum (“Genealogy of the English Kings”) and Vita S. Eduardi Confessoris (The Life of Saint Edward, King and Confessor), written in honour of the translation of St. Edward the Confessor’s body in 1163, which he witnessed. His last work is De anima (“On the Soul”). De spirituali amicitia was translated in 1942 by Hugh Talbot, and in 1952 Talbot translated Aelred’s De anima and various sermons.

Recorded November 5, 2009.
Piazza San Marco (often known in English as St Mark's Square), is the principal square of Venice, Italy. A remark often attributed to Napoleon (but perhaps more correctly to Alfred de Musset) calls the Piazza San Marco "The drawing room of Europe". It is one of the few great urban spaces in a Europe where human voices prevail over the sounds of motorized traffic, which is confined to Venice's waterways. It is the only urban space called a piazza in Venice; the others, regardless of size, are called campi. As the central landmark and gathering place for Venice, Piazza San Marco is extremely popular with tourists, photographers, and Venetian pigeons.
The Piazza originated in the 9th century as a small area in front of the original St Mark's Basilica. It was enlarged to its present size and shape in 1177, when the Rio Batario, which had bounded it to the west, and a dock, which had isolated the Doge's Palace from the square, were filled in. The rearrangement was for the meeting of Pope Alexander III and the Emperor Frederick Barbarossa.
The Piazza has always been seen as the centre of Venice. It was the location of all the important offices of the Venetian state, and has been the seat of the archbishopric since the 19th century. It was also the focus for many of Venice's festivals. It is a greatly popular place in Italy even today.
In this video you hear the bells ring out across the square, see the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica and be awe struck by the spectacular view from the top of the campanile.

Some Facts About Dundrum
One of the earliest mentions of the area concerns the location of the original St. Nahi's Church in the 8th century on which site today's 18th-century church currently stands. The ancient name for Dundrum is "Taney" which derives from Tigh Naithi meaning the house or place of Nath Í.
Recent archeological excavations near the church have revealed three enclosures associated with the church, the earliest dating from the 6th century, and a significant find was an almost complete Flemish Redware jug from the 13th century.
The first reference to the placename of Taney occurs in the Charter of St. Laurence O'Toole to Christchurch in 1178 as "half of Rathnahi" and in the following year in a Papal bull of Pope Alexander III to the same archbishop as "Medietatem de Tignai". Variations of the spelling continued until the mid-16th century.

Venice (Italian: Venezia, Venetian: Venesia or Venexia) is a city in northern Italy, the capital of the region Veneto, The city historically was an independent nation. Venice has been known as the "La Dominante", "Serenissima", "Queen of the Adriatic", "City of Water", "City of Bridges", and "The City of Light". It is often cited as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Increasing numbers and prosperity were a prolific cause of jealousy. In 1179 Pope Alexander III had felt obliged to exhort the king to protect the monks of St. Augustine's, Canterbury, in their business dealings with the Jews, which must have been of considerable volume.

The Abbey of Saint-Remi is an abbey in Reims, France, founded in the sixth century. Since 1099 it has conserved the relics of Saint Remi (died 553), the Bishop of Reims who converted Clovis, King of the Franks, to Christianity at Christmas in AD 496, after he defeated the Alamanni in the Battle of Tolbiac.
The present basilica was the abbey church; it was consecrated by Pope Leo IX in 1049. The eleventh-century nave and transepts, in the Romanesque style, are the oldest; the façade of the south transept is the most recent.
The obscure origins of the great abbey at Reims lie in a little chapel of the sixth century dedicated to Saint Christopher, its success was founded on its acquisition of the relics of St. Remy in 553: subsequently gifts poured in upon it from pious donors. By the ninth century the abbey possessed about seven hundred domains and was perhaps the most richly endowed in France. It seems probable that secular priests were the first guardians of the relics, but were succeeded by the Benedictines. From 780 to 945 the archbishops of Reims served as its abbots. At the abbey Charlemagne received Pope Leo III.
In 1005 the abbot Aviard undertook to rebuild the church of St-Remy, and for twenty years the work went on uninterruptedly before vaulting collapsed, no doubt from insufficient buttressing. Abbot Theodoric erected the magnificent surviving basilica which Pope Leo IX dedicated in 1049 and to which he granted many privileges. The abbey library and its schools were of such high repute that Pope Alexander III wrote a commendatory letter to the Abbot Peter, which survives.

The Siege of Santarém, lasted from June 1184 to July 1184. In the spring of 1184, Abu Yaqub Yusuf assembled an army, crossed the straits of Gibraltar and marched to Seville. From there he marched towards Badajoz and headed west to besiege Santarém, which was defended by Afonso I of Portugal. Upon hearing of Abu Yusuf's attack, Ferdinand II of León marched his troops to Santarém to support his father-in-law, Afonso I.
Death of Yusuf
Abu Yusuf, believing he had sufficient troops to maintain the siege, sent orders for part of his army to march to Lisbon and lay siege to that city. The orders were misinterpreted and his army, seeing large contingents of men leaving the battle, became confused and started to retreat. Abu Yusuf, in an attempt to rally his troops, was wounded by a crossbow bolt and died on July 29, 1184.
Papal recognition
The victory at Santarém was a major achievement for Afonso I. Pope Alexander III formally recognized him as rex Portugalensium.

"The blood of our Christian brothers is a testimony that cries out. It does not matter if they are Catholics, Orthodox, Copt or Lutherans: they are Christians. The blood is the same. The blood confesses Christ" ~Francis and one of his latest heresies
Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, Constitution 1, 1215, ex cathedra: “There is indeed one universal Church of the faithful, outside of which nobody at all is saved, in which Jesus Christ is both priest and sacrifice.”
“The apostasy of the city of Rome from the vicar of Christ and its destruction by Antichrist may be thoughts very new to many Catholics, that I think it well to recite the text of theologians of greatest repute. First Malvenda, who writes expressly on the subject, states as the opinion of Ribera, Gaspar Melus, Biegas, Suarrez, Bellarmine and Bosius that Rome shall apostatize from the Faith, drive away the Vicar of Christ and return to its ancient paganism. ...Then the Church shall be scattered, driven into the wilderness, and shall be for a time, as it was in the beginning, invisible; hidden in catacombs, in dens, in mountains, in lurking places; for a time it shall be swept, as it were from the face of the earth. Such is the universal testimony of the Fathers of the early Church.”- Henry Edward Cardinal Manning, The Present Crisis of the Holy See, 1861, London: Burns and Lambert, pp. 88-90) Cardinal Manning
CONDEMNATION OF VATICAN 2 AND THE MODERNISM ENSUED BY POPE LEO XIII REITERATED BY POPE ST PIUS X Let them combat novelties of words, remembering the admonitions of Leo XIII: "It is impossible to approve in Catholic publications a style inspired by unsound novelty which seems to deride the piety of the faithful and dwells on the introduction of a new order of Christian life, on new directions of the Church, on new aspirations of the modern soul, on a new social vocation of the clergy, on a new Christian civilization, and many other things of the same kind."[32] Language of the kind here indicated is not to be tolerated either in books or in lectures. POPE ST PIUS X- PASCENDI
After Pope Benedict dies, then what? Perhaps this is the answer: “…Il Papa cambierà la sua residenza e la Chiesa non sarà difesa per venticinque mesi o più, perché durante tutto quel tempo non ci sarà Papa a Roma…Dopo molte tribolazioni, un Papa sarà eletto fra coloro che saranno sopravvissuti alle persecuzioni…”
" ... The pope will change his residence and the Church will not be defended for twenty-five months or more , because during all that time there will be no Pope in Rome ... After many tribulations , a Pope will be elected from among those who are survivors of persecution ... "

Jim Fetzer interviews Gregory Hallett
The Show exposes the entity called Queen Elizabeth II as a fake, a Flat Lie Royal,
a usurper, rendered Greg Hallett's Charge in October 2011 …
Prince William (UK) as the illegitimate son of King Juan Carlos of Spain and Princess Diana (UK),
which is why King Juan Carlos of Spain abdicated,
as a direct result of Greg Hallett's exposure and near-identical photographic analysis of
Prince William (UK) and King Juan Carlos (Spain).
The proposed Laws of Succession in the UK are 'Queen' Elizabeth II's confirmation of
her and her family's illegitimacy, where Elizabeth is the illegitimate Artificial Insemination daughter
of Winston Churchill and Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon’s Maid …
where Winston Churchill is the illegitimate son of King Edward VII …
and King George V (UK) is the illegitimate son of Tsar Alexander III of Russia …
and Princess Diana sabotaged the breeding of Prince William and Prince Harry
to ensure that neither were born in auspicious months …
and that Queen Victoria and her psychics predicted that all of this
would be written up by a Lemurian (New Zealander) …
where Greg Hallett was directed by Queen Elizabeth II's doctor to King George VI's
Natural son in New Zealand, who is/was a superior Royal to Queen Elizabeth II.
See the Five Hard Cover Full Colour Yellow Ribbon Volumes,
1200 pages, 700 photos of 'THE HIDDEN KING OF ENGLAND',
wherein lies a Superior Claim to the Throne.

This is one of the great cathedrals of Rome. It is known as the Papal Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, a cathedral church of the Diocese of Rome and the official ecclesiastical seat of the Bishop of Rome. It is the oldest of the four Papal Basilicas of Rome, ranking above all other churches in the Catholic church, including St. Peter's Basilica, with the designation of the title Archbasilica. The structure has quite a lot of history attached to it: it stands over the ruins of a fort of the imperial bodyguard established by Septimius Severus in 193, and the rest of the site had been occupied by the palace of the gens Laterani, hence the name, during the early Roman Empire. Constantine took it over later upon marrying Fausta, but he later granted it to the Bishop of Rome, possibly during the pontificate of the Pope Miltiades, hosting the synod of bishops which declared Donatism as heresy in 313. It eventually became the residence of Pope St. Sylvester I, and the cathedral of Rome. He also presided over the official dedication of the basilica and the adjacent Lateran Palace in 324.
Such was its wealth and renown, due in large part to donations made by popes and other benefactors that it was known even in its early years as the Basilica Aurea, which unfortunately drew the attention of attacking armies, including the Vandals, who stripped it of all its treasures. It was restored in 460 by Pope Leo I, and again at the behest of Pope Hadrian, but it was nearly destroyed entirely during an earthquake in 897, reportedly collapsing "from the altar to the doors," to the degree that it was even difficult to reconstruct the lines of the old building. Reconstruction efforts commenced on a new church which lasted until 1308 when it was destroyed by fire, then rebuilt by Pope Clement V and John XXII. This structure was burned also, in 1360, and was rebuilt by Pope Urban V. It has retained its ancient form despite the destructions, although few traces remain of the original structure. It is divided by rows of columns and aisles, featuring a peristyle surrounded by colonnades with fountains in the middle in the facing courtyard, which is a conventional Late Antique format also used at St. Peter's Basilica.
There were several reconstructions before Pope Sixtus V's major renovations which gave it much of the appearance it has now. The original Lateran palace was also demolished and replaced by a new one. Another of its interesting features: The obelisk which stands there now is known as the Lateran Obelisk, the largest standing one in the world, estimated to weigh 455 tons, commissioned by pharaoh Thutmose III and situated before the great temple of Karnak in Thebes. Constantius II had it shipped to Rome where it was set up in the Circus Maximus in 357. At some point it was broken and buried under the Circus, but it was rediscovered and re-erected in the 16th century. Renovation on the interior began under Francesco Borromini, commissioned by Pope Innocent X, when the 12 niches were created and filled with statues of the apostles. Clement XII actually initiated a competition for the façade: the winner was Alessandro Galilei, who completed it in 1735. All remnants of the traditional basilica architecture were at that time removed.
It was occupied by every pope from Miltiades until the reign of French Pope Clement V who transferred the official seat of the Catholic church to Avignon in 1309 during the schism, and as such, several popes are interred here. There are six extent papal tombs, including those of Alexander III, Sergius IV, Clement XII Corsini, martin V, Innocent III and Leo XIII, the last pope not to be entombed in St. Peter's Basilica. Reportedly a dozen additional papal tombs were constructed beginning in the 10th c. but they were destroyed in the two fires of the 14th c. Their remains were collected and reburied in a polyandrum. There may also have been several other popes whose tombs are unknown. John X (914-928) was the first pope to be buried within the walls of Rome, possibly because of rumors that he was murdered by Theodora. Other important nearby features include the Lateran Baptistry, where legend states that Constantine I was baptized (although this is almost certainly untrue, though he may indeed have patronized and embellished the structure) and the Scala Sancta, whose white marble steps Jesus Christ is said to have graced upon his ascent to the praetorium of the Palace of Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem, brought to Rome reportedly by St. Helena, the mother of Constantine. This site is one of the most important in Rome, and is probably the major pilgrimage site in the city other than the Vatican.

Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni (8 June 1671 – 17 January 1751) was an Italian Baroque composer. While famous in his day as an opera composer, he is mainly remembered today for his instrumental music, such as the concertos, some of which are regularly recorded.
Born in Venice, Republic of Venice, to Antonio Albinoni, a wealthy paper merchant in Venice, he studied violin and singing. Relatively little is known about his life, especially considering his contemporary stature as a composer, and the comparatively well-documented period in which he lived. In 1694 he dedicated his Opus 1 to the fellow-Venetian, Cardinal Pietro Ottoboni (grand-nephew of Pope Alexander VIII); Ottoboni was an important patron in Rome of other composers, such as Arcangelo Corelli. His first opera, Zenobia, regina de Palmireni, was produced in Venice in 1694.
Albinoni was possibly employed in 1700 as a violinist to Charles IV, Duke of Mantua, to whom he dedicated his Opus 2 collection of instrumental pieces. In 1701 he wrote his hugely popular suites Opus 3, and dedicated that collection to Cosimo III de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany.
In 1705, he was married; Antonino Biffi, the maestro di cappella of San Marco was a witness, and evidently was a friend of Albinoni's. Albinoni seems to have no other connection with that primary musical establishment in Venice, however, and achieved his early fame as an opera composer at many cities in Italy, including Venice, Genoa, Bologna, Mantua, Udine, Piacenza, and Naples. During this time he was also composing instrumental music in abundance: prior to 1705, he mostly wrote trio sonatas and violin concertos, but between then and 1719 he wrote solo sonatas and concertos for oboe.
Unlike most composers of his time, he appears never to have sought a post at either a church or noble court, but then he was a man of independent means and had the option to compose music independently. In 1722, Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria, to whom Albinoni had dedicated a set of twelve concertos, invited him to direct two of his operas in Munich.
Around 1740, a collection of Albinoni's violin sonatas was published in France as a posthumous work, and scholars long presumed that meant that Albinoni had died by that time. However, it appears he lived on in Venice in obscurity; a record from the parish of San Barnaba indicates Tomaso Albinoni died in Venice in 1751, of diabetes mellitus.

The History of Rome, the Holy City (Documentary)
Rome is the capital of Italy and also of the Province of Rome and of the region of Lazio. With 2.7 million residents in 1,285.3 km2 (496.3 sq mi), it is also the country's largest and most populated comune and fourth-most populous city in the European Union by population within city limits. The urban area of Rome extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of around 3.8 million. Between 3.2 and 4.2 million people live in Rome metropolitan area. The city is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula, on the Tiber within Lazio (Latium). The Vatican City is an independent country within the city boundaries of Rome, the only example of a country within a city existing.
Rome's history spans more than two and a half thousand years, since its legendary founding in 753 BC. Rome is one of the oldest continuously occupied cities in Europe. It is referred to as "The Eternal City", a notion expressed by ancient Roman poets and writers. In the ancient world it was successively the capital city of the Roman Kingdom, the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire, and is regarded as one of the birthplaces of Western civilization. Since the 1st century AD, Rome has been considered the seat of the Papacy and in the 8th century it became the capital of the Papal States, which lasted until 1870. In 1871 Rome became the capital of the Kingdom of Italy, and in 1946 that of the Italian Republic.
After the Middle Ages, Rome was ruled by popes such as Alexander VI and Leo X, who transformed the city into one of the major centers of the Italian Renaissance along with Florence. The current version of St Peter's Basilica was built and the Sistine Chapel was painted by Michelangelo. Famous artists and architects, such as Bramante, Bernini and Raphael, resided for some time in Rome, contributing to its Renaissance and Baroque architecture.
Rome has a status of the global city. In 2007, Rome was the 11th-most-visited city in the world, 3rd most visited in the European Union, and the most popular tourist attraction in Italy. Its historic centre is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Monuments and museums such as the Vatican Museums and the Colosseum are among the world's most visited tourist destinations with both locations receiving millions of tourists a year. Rome hosted the 1960 Summer Olympics.

The Rape of the LockAlexander POPE (1688 - 1744)The Rape of the Lock is a mock-heroic narrative poem written by Alexander Pope, first published anonymously in Lintot's Miscellany in May 1712 in two cantos (334 lines), but then revised, expanded and reissued under Pope's name on March 2, 1714, in a much-expanded 5-canto version (794 lines). The final form was available in 1717 with the addition of Clarissa's speech on good humour. The poem satirizes a petty squabble by comparing it to the epic world of the gods. It was based on an incident recounted by Pope's friend, John Caryll. Arabella Fermor and her suitor, Lord Petre, were both from aristocratic recusant Catholic families at a period in England when under such laws as the Test Act, all denominations except Anglicanism suffered legal restrictions and penalties (for example Petre could not take up his place in the House of Lords as a Catholic). Petre, lusting after Arabella, had cut off a lock of her hair without permission, and the consequent argument had created a breach between the two families. Pope, also a Catholic, wrote the poem at the request of friends in an attempt to "comically merge the two." He utilized the character Belinda to represent Arabella and introduced an entire system of "sylphs," or guardian spirits of virgins, a parodied version of the gods and goddesses of conventional epic. The Pope visits the sick leaders in congress. US Speaker John Boehner to leave Congress after visiting with pope. US House Speaker John Boehner will resign from his leadership position and give up his seat at the end of October.
Mr Boehner made the decision while praying on Friday morning - a day after hosting Pope Francis at Congress.
Is the furry of charges and claims against the German industrial powerhouse, Volkswagen, part of the on-going Economic Warfare Phrase of World War III? I have reported how very powerful forces within Germany are opposed to the drive towards a all-out WWIII with Russia, China and Iran.
Just last week the Chairman of Merkel's party broke with her and demanded that Germany side with Russia, Iran and China on the Syrian War. The wholesale flooding of Arab refugees, most of them Muslim and males of military age (only a fourth or so actually from Syria) has really shaken up the Germans.
They are determined to end the Merkel program of opening Germany to a sea flood of foreigners. Current reports indicate that VW will be facing many billions of dollars in fines in America alone with more possibly to come from across the globe.
This is likely to be a Globalist attack to reign in the Germans. It may end up creating even more blow back towards the Globalist/Zionist war strategy. Which could make the 'usual suspects' even more dangerous and bold!!!
German Chancellor Angela Merkel says the Iranian government as well as the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad must be part of any negotiations aimed at putting an end to the crisis in Syria.
“We have to speak with many actors; this includes Assad, but others as well. Not only with the United States of America, Russia, but with important regional partners, Iran, and Sunni countries such as Saudi Arabia,” Merkel told a Thursday press conference in Brussels following a summit of European Union (EU) leaders on the recent refugee crisis facing Europe.
