Gayatri Mantra (27 Repetitions)
Gayatri Mantra (27 Repetitions)
Revered by both Buddhists and Hindus worldwide. It is considered to be a supreme vehicle for gaining spiritual enlightenment. The Entire Mantra says, "I invoke the Earth Plane, The Astral Plane, The Celestial Plane, The Plane of Spiritual Balance, The Plane of Human Spiritual Knowledge, The Plane of Spiritual Austerites, and The Plane of Ultimate Truth. Oh, great Spiritual Light which is the brilliance of all Divinity, we meditate upon You. Please illumine our minds." www.gayatrimantra.net Origin Rishis selected the words of the Gayatri Mantra and arranged them so that they not only convey meaning but also create specific power of righteous wisdom through their utterance. The ideal times for chanting the mantra are three times a day - at dawn, mid-day, and at dusk. These times are known as the three sandhyas - morning, mid-day and evening. The maximum benefit of chanting the mantra is said to be obtained by chanting it 108 times. However, one may chant it for 3, 9, or 18 times when pressed for time. The syllables of the mantra are said to positively affect all the chakras or energy centres in the human body - hence, proper pronunciation and enunciation are very important. In general, Brahmarishi Vishwamitra is credited as the mantra-dhrishta(Mantra was revealed to him) of the Gayatri Mantra. Gayatri Mantra is devoted to God Savitr. Savitr refers to Sun. Sun here does not imply the sun of our solar system. Rather it implies a Sun of all suns. Sun that is the source of ...

Essence Of The Vedas - Rigveda (Harish Bhimani, Vedamoorthy K Sharaschandra Bhat, Arun Iyer)
An translated introduction to the ancient Hindu text Rigveda (the oldest of the Vedas). English Translation recited by Harish Bhimani From wikipedia: The Rigvedic hymns are dedicated to various deities, chief of whom are Indra, a heroic god praised for having slain his enemy Vrtra; Agni, the sacrificial fire; and Soma, the sacred potion or the plant it is made from. Equally prominent gods are the Adityas or Asura gods Mitra--Varuna and Ushas (the dawn). Also invoked are Savitr, Vishnu, Rudra, Pushan, Brihaspati or Brahmanaspati, as well as deified natural phenomena such as Dyaus Pita (the shining sky, Father Heaven ), Prithivi (the earth, Mother Earth), Surya (the sun god), Vayu or Vata (the wind), Apas (the waters), Parjanya (the thunder and rain), Vac (the word), many rivers (notably the Sapta Sindhu, and the Sarasvati River). The little big Horn of Bible prophecy part 1
What does, Osiris, Horus, Marduk, Shiva, Ra, Brahma, Surya, Savitr, Shamash, Iluminati, freemason and Papal Rome all have in common? Paganism and the sungod worshiping practices on Sunday. Do you really think our Father in heaven wanted us to leave a hallowed, blessed and santified seventh day sabbath for a pagan-owned, Sunday worship, that's over crowded with deities and a Vicar? ...I think not! I refuse to forget the commandment that starts with the word "Remember". Do what the Lord has instructed of you. Fear God, obey his commandments, come out of the harlot that fornicates with the beast and his image. As for me, I choose the seal of God over the mark of the beast. Shouts to the Forerunner chronicles!!!...how bout you?

The Gāyatrī Mantra is a highly revered mantra, based on a Vedic Sanskrit verse from a hymn of the Rigveda (3.62.10). The mantra is named for its vedic gāyatrī metre. As the verse can be interpreted to invoke the deva Savitr, it is often called Sāvitrī. Its recitation is traditionally preceded by oṃ and the formula bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ, known as the mahāvyāhṛti ("great utterance"). The Gayatri Mantra is repeated and cited very widely in vedic literature, and praised in several well-known classical Hindu texts such as Manusmṛti,Harivamsa, and the Bhagavad Gita. The mantra is an important part of the upanayanam ceremony for young males in Hinduism, and has long been recited by Brahmin males as part of their daily rituals. Modern Hindu reform movements spread the practice of the mantra to include women and all castes and its use is now very widespread.

Vansh (1992) The Art of Smoking Simplified
Vansh (1992) The Art of Smoking Simplified
The RG Veda MANTRAS(hymns) are the oldest and most philosophical of the Vedas. Please read the following verses from Rigveda which speak about the personal aspect of God: Vishnu can travel in three strides. The first stride is the Earth. The second stride is the visible sky. The third stride cannot be seen by men and is the heaven where the gods and the righteous dead live. (This feature of three strides also appears in the story of his avatar Vamana called Trivikrama in the Puranas.) The Sanskrit for "to stride" is the root kram; its reduplicated perfect tense is chakram (guņa grade) or chakra (zero-grade), and in the Rigveda he is called by epithets such as vi-chakra-māņas = "he who has made 3 strides". The Sanskrit word chakra also means "wheel". Rig Veda (7.99.1-7 and 7.100.1-7) In the Rigveda, Shakala shakha: Aitareya Brahmana Verse 1 : "Agnir vai devānām avamo Viṣṇuḥ paramas, tadantareṇa sarvā anyā devatā" declares that Agni is the lowest or youngest god and Vishnu is the greatest and the oldest God. In the Rigveda, Vishnu is mentioned 93 times. He is frequently invoked alongside other deities, especially Indra, who he helps in killing Vritra. There are hymns addressed to the different Gods of Heaven, Earth & Sky, the chief deities such as: ¨ INDRA -- the God of war & thunderstorms ¨ AGNI -- the God of Fire ¨ SOMA -- Lord of the Ritual Sacrifice ¨ YAMA -- Lord of the Dead & Underworld ¨ APAS -- Lord of the Waters ¨ VAYU -- Lord of the Wind ¨ SAVITR/SURYA -- Lord of ...
