WOOOO, writer's block FREAKING SUCKS! ..... While Joe and Demi stared on, I huffed angrily and marched outside, slamming the door. I walked the few blocks to my house and stomped inside, shutting the door behind me. I looked around and frowned. I have everything; I have this huge, beautiful house, a hard working father that does what he does so I could live my life better than he did, and a family that loves me. But I don't feel whole or complete. I'm a freaking mess. I darted towards my room and closed the door behind me. I flicked on the lights and flopped myself onto my bed. I heard a shuffling from near my bed and turned to stare at my suddenly moving pile of clothes. I stared at it intently until it suddenly flipped over, a little puppy revealed. I sighed, relieved, and laughed. "You scared me," I patted the bed, the little puppy jumped up and settled in, licking its paws contently. "Welcome home, Bells," I smiled, pecking the top of her head. "Hungry?" I asked, my eyes trailing over to her empty food bowl. I pulled a food bag off a shelf and Bells rushed over immediately, hopping up and down. "Fattie," I giggled, filling up her bowl. ..... I was busy copying down what Mr.Eggold had written on the board when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I jumped violently and a few people turned to stare strangely at me. I let my head fall, embarrassed while I fished my phone out of my pocket. 'I'm sorry if I did anything to upset you last night.' I texted back, 'Who's this?' 'Who do you think?' 'How'd you get my number, Nick?!' I looked over my shoulder at him and he grinned back sheepishly, like a little boy with his hand caught in the cookie jar. 'I may have asked Joe for it ..' 'You fucking creeper! Just leave me alone, alright?' 'Not until I get you to stop being mad at me.' 'No one said I was mad at you.' Mr.Eggold cleared his throar loudly, his eyes glaring at me and Nick. With my heart pounding, I put my phone away and went back to copying the board, mentally shaking my head at Nick's immatureness, if that even is a word. ..... The bell rang and I stood up quickly, making my way out of the class. I caught up with Demi near the fountain, and I sat down swiftly, looking down when I saw Nick walk over. "Hey Demi," Nick greeted but I could feel his eyes burn holes through me. "Have you seen Joe?" "I saw him this morning, but I haven't since. He must've ditched again. But, here, sit with us." THANK YOU, DEMI. -.- I looked up now, and regretted it. Demi and Nick were staring at me, but Demi looked away embarrassed. "Can I help you?" I asked Nick rudely when he didn't turn away. "I don't know. Can you?" "Stop being such a smart ass, you stupid asshole," I growled, starting to get up. "LOOK! There's Joe! Well, I'll catch up with you later, Sel!" she got up abruptly, and swinging her bag over her shoulder, she darted over to Joe and swerved him in the other direction. "Goddamn her," I sighed, sitting back down. I glanced at him nervously and sighed again. "What'd I do to you? Did I offend you in any way?" he locked eyes with me, and didn't look away. "You didn't do anything," I admitted, biting my bottom lip, "but this isn't the place or time." "So ... would tonight be the place and time?" He smiled a childish grin. "What?" I asked, surprised. ..... When school ended, I practically ran towards Demi's car to tell her the news. She was barely throwing her stuff into the back of her car when I reached her. "DEMI!" I cried, squealing. "I have a date!" I realized soon after that that made me sound desparate and whore-y because I'd just broken up with Taylor, but I didn't care!
