This is Saga. She's a 2 year old engstaff. This dog is amazing in terms of behaviour , intelligence, fearlessness and loyalty.
Easy to train, explosive when you want her to, and a real sofa dog when you are inside.

My review of the American Staffordshire Terrier (Amstaff). This dog has a number of great qualities that make it ideal for a variety of applications. Please note that when I refer to the dog as a 'utility dog' in the review, I am referring to it's many uses, not to it being part of the 'utility dog' group as recognised by various dog breed clubs. Please promote the breed and remember that every dog requires a good owner to raise it correctly.

Staffordshire (/ˈstæfərdʃɪər/ or 
/ˈstæfərdʃaɪər/; abbreviated Staffs) is a landlocked county in the West Midlands region of England. Part of the National Forest lies within its borders. It adjoins the ceremonial counties of Cheshire (to the north west), Derbyshire (to the east), Leicestershire (to the east), Warwickshire (to the south east), West Midlands (to the south), Worcestershire (to the south), and Shropshire (to the west).
The largest city in Staffordshire is Stoke-on-Trent, which is administered separately from the rest of the county as an independent unitary authority. Lichfield also has city status, although this is a considerably smaller cathedral city. Major towns include Stafford (the county town), Burton upon Trent, Cannock, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Leek and Tamworth.
Wolverhampton, Walsall, West Bromwich and Smethwick were also in Staffordshire until local government reorganisation in 1974, but are now within the West Midlands County in the West Midlands Conurbation.
With the exception of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire is divided into the districts of Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Newcastle-under-Lyme, South Staffordshire, Stafford, Staffordshire Moorlands, and Tamworth.

El American Staffordshire Terrier o Amstaff es una raza de perros originaria de Inglaterra aunque ampliamente extendida en Estados Unidos y en otras partes del mundo. Raza molosoide de origen enigmático pues no se cuenta con un registro exacto de su aparición.
Sus primeros indicios apuntan a Inglaterra cuando las peleas de perros contra toros u osos estaban en su pleno apogeo. Otra de las aficiones de aquella remota época era el llamado ratting, que consistía en introducir en un foso un gran número de ratas y un terrier: el perro que matara más ratas en menos tiempo era el ganador.
Desciende de las razas Old English Bulldog y Old English Terrier. Esta raza llega a los Estados Unidos en el siglo XIX donde es perfeccionada. We started the day off by taking full advantage of the excellent facilities available and all had a full English breakfast to start the day off. Andy spods out using the Spomb and Harry gets a ripping run and lands a cracking Barbel. THE BLUE MANSION is an architectural and Straits Settlement masterpiece - a statement of the era's eclecticism. Built with all the luxuries and decadence available at that time, our mansion is home to Victorian stained glass windows, Staffordshire floor tiles, Scottish cast iron columns and balusters, splendidly carved Szechuan screens, solid Chinese timber doors, magnificent Teochew 'chien nien' (porcelain cut and paste shard works) and 'trompe l'oeil' timber beams. Our tours showcase the mansion's unique feng shui elements created by outstanding craftsmanship of the time. Trained guides provide a peek into the lifestyle of the man and his era; and our Museum provides depth for a full cultural experience.
Times : 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm for a duration of 45 minutes.
Price : RM17 per adult (including GST)
RM8.50 per child under 12 years (including GST)
Tours are in English but also available in Mandarin, Japanese and other languages if pre-arranged separately and for a minimum fee of RM255 (equivalent of 15 persons). Special tours may also be organized for private groups and organizations.

Wildfire Through Staffordshire - Sonnet to Lord Anson is the forth of a series of films presenting the work of Ian Henery, Walsall Poet Laureate.
These films are inspired by the book that presents Osborne’s Map of the Grand Junction Railway. The book contains many thought provoking poems have been specially created by Ian, adding a new dimension to Osborne’s observations.
Osborne’s Map of the Grand Junction Railway was the first of an increasing number of maps, guides and handbooks, which were produced as new railways opened across the country.
All were eager to expound the virtues of their great railways, and the marvellous feats of the Victorian engineers. A similar publication, Bradshaw’s guide is the subject of a recent television series; however it was in fact a set of timetables, and did not contain any tourist information as did Osborne’s Map. The Bradshaw’s Handbooks for tourists in Great Britain and Ireland was not actually published until 1860 and were a rival publication to Osborne’s original Railway guides.
The map showing the route of the Grand Junction Railway in this version of Osborne’s guide, has been completely and painstakingly re-constructed and restored by Mapseeker Publishing in full colour over a period of nearly three months. The work contains many attractive engravings, contemporary to the period, showcasing the line and surroundings areas, in splendid detail. This guide is keen to illustrate the achievements of the Victorian engineers and the Grand Junction Railway company, from the unadulterated splendour of the first class coach, to the ten arch viaduct bridging the London line. This is indeed the ultimate armchair guide.
