We always have timber floors as I love them!! When we bought our current home, this floor is in the kitchen/dining which I find a little orangey in colour sometimes - I'd love to sand it back and stain it but it's costly - what do you think?? We are about to change the kitchen cabinets to a darker colour so that may affect the look too ...

I bought my apartment for its rich, jarrah boards which were probably laid sometime around 1940. I love them with the crisp white walls!

Everybody needs a nook where they can sit back and relax at the end of the day. I am in the home improvement industry and I always find a way to create a personal space outside for my clients. As much as possible, it should close to nature. A pair of chairs on a patch of grass with potted flowers around would usually suffice. We just add some touches according to the homeowner's taste.
