http://www.jbs.org/ - At a John Birch Society council dinner speech on March 9, 1974, society founder Robert Welch laid out what he called the "Insiders" long-range plans for the destruction of American sovereignty.
According to Wikipedia's entry on Welch, his term "Insiders" referred to a cartel of globalist organizations including Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission, as well as international financial and big business families such as the Rothschilds and Rockefellers. In other words, it's what is commonly referred to today as the New World Order: a powerful ultra elite perched on the tippy top of the pyramid and working furiously behind the scenes to bring about a totalitarian one-world government.
At that council dinner, Welch quoted himself from the John Birch Society's founding meeting in 1958 — 55 years ago now — laying out ten steps to destroy America. "A part of that plan, of course, is to induce the gradual surrender of American sovereignty, piece-by-piece and step-by-step, to various international organizations — of which the United Nations is the outstanding but far from the only example," he said.
Here are the ten steps Welch outlined:
- Greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible.
- Higher and then much higher taxes.
- An increasingly unbalanced budget despite the higher taxes.
- Wild inflation of our currency.
- Government controls of prices, wages and materials supposedly to combat inflation.
- Greatly increased socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives. This is to be accompanied naturally and automatically by a correspondingly huge increase in the size of our bureaucracy and in both the cost and reach of our domestic government.
- Far more centralization of power in Washington, and the practical elimination of our state lines. There is a many-faceted drive at work to have our state lines eventually mean no more within the nation than our county lines do now within the states.
- The steady advance of federal aid to and control over our educational system leading to complete federalization of our public education.
- A constant hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare. The beauties and the absolute necessities of peace, peace always on communist terms of course.
- The constant willingness of the American people to allow the steps of appeasement by our government that amount to a piece meal surrender of the rest of the free world and the United States itself.
Looking at the state of (post-9/11) America today — the perpetual War on Terror, empire building in the name of "humanitarian regime change" of democratically elected leaders in foreign countries, the Department of Homeland Security and its Transportation Security Administration goon squad, the National Defense Authorization Act and its ability to disappear American citizens suspected of terrorism without due process of law, Obamacare, the National Security Administration's big brother surveillance state, the militarization of our police in an ever-expanding police state, the common core, the Federal Reserve's runaway monopoly money printer and a nation hanging on the verge of economic collapse, the crackdown on food freedom — how accurate do you think Welch was in his predictions?

Do not believe the propaganda by the Zionist controlled mass media and the two-party system. The John Birch Society has been advocating for a constitutional government since its founding in 1958. They are defenders of freedoms and libertarian values although they have no political party affiliation.
If we ignore the religious aspects, this may be among the best documentaries that explain, civil rights, the American government, and its intended economic system of a free market economy in simple, plain, and inspiring language. Topics covered are constitution, bill of rights, forms of government, political systems, collectivism (socialism), free market, competition, capital, property, the differences between a democracy and a republic, and the role of government in a free society.
However we should also ignore the strawman it creates for anarchism. It must be illustrated in the proper context because if it is not, it is defined under the framework of government where it does not belong. Hence, an anarchist society as described by critics would be contaminated by a public brainwashed by questionable values and immersed in bad economic conditions such as poverty, unemployment, and regression that the state itself propagated. Such line of reasoning is therefore invalid. This is analogous to using circular logic to defend a religious doctrine.
Subjecting society to illicit programming is one of the key things that anarchists intend to eliminate. A new society of enlightened thinkers might take one or more generations to fully develop but it can be done.
Anarchism is not freedom to generate a state of lawlessness but the liberty from instituting a lawless state. It is a stateless society whereby all individuals have the free will to exercise management over all aspects of their community or civilization. Control therefore stems from individuals who have self-interests to protect a prosperous and free society, not by elected statists who must but cannot be trusted not to abuse their power.
Regardless, I never dismiss an entire message based on a few disagreeable points. Enjoy this fine brief documentary.

It’s February 23 as I write, and the season when political parties choose their nominee for the office of president is in full swing. Republicans from Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina have catapulted Donald Trump into a commanding lead. And the pundits in all phases of the media are worried.
Frank Rich is a former New York Times columnist whose opinions are now published in New York. He has just written about the worriers who are scratching their heads in discontent about the prospect of Trump winning the nomination and the White House. Rich pointedly cited the seeming desperation among “the Establishment” about the success achieved by the New York billionaire. He stated:
After Donald Trump’s victory in South Carolina, the GOP Establishment is left with what some political reporters have called “an urgent decision: Either destroy Mr. Trump or embrace him…. Far and away the Establishment’s bigger challenge is to destroy Trump."
The question Rich didn’t answer is: Who are the individuals who form this “Establishment”? He didn’t name any, so let us give an opinion about the people who seem anxious, according to Rich, to “destroy Mr. Trump.”

Bob Dylan (
/ˈdɪlən/), born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941, is an American singer-songwriter, musician and artist. He has been an influential figure in popular music and culture for five decades. Much of his most celebrated work dates from the 1960s when he was an informal chronicler and a seemingly reluctant figurehead of social unrest. A number of Dylan's early songs, such as "Blowin' in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'", became anthems for the US civil rights and anti-war movements. Leaving his initial base in the culture of folk music behind, Dylan's six-minute single "Like a Rolling Stone" has been described as radically altering the parameters of popular music in 1965. However, his recordings employing electric instruments attracted denunciation and criticism from others in the folk movement.
Dylan's lyrics incorporated a variety of political, social, philosophical, and literary influences. They defied existing pop music conventions and appealed hugely to the then burgeoning counterculture. According to Wikipedia's entry on Welch, his term "Insiders" referred to a cartel of globalist organizations including Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission, as well as international financial and big business families such as the Rothschilds and Rockefellers. In other words, it's what is commonly referred to today as the New World Order: a powerful ultra elite perched on the tippy top of the pyramid and working furiously behind the scenes to bring about a totalitarian one-world government.
At that council dinner, Welch quoted himself from the John Birch Society's founding meeting in 1958 — 55 years ago now — laying out ten steps to destroy America. "A part of that plan, of course, is to induce the gradual surrender of American sovereignty, piece-by-piece and step-by-step, to various international organizations — of which the United Nations is the outstanding but far from the only example," he said.
Here are the ten steps Welch outlined:
- Greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible.
- Higher and then much higher taxes.
- An increasingly unbalanced budget despite the higher taxes.
- Wild inflation of our currency.
- Government controls of prices, wages and materials supposedly to combat inflation.
- Greatly increased socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives. This is to be accompanied naturally and automatically by a correspondingly huge increase in the size of our bureaucracy and in both the cost and reach of our domestic government.
- Far more centralization of power in Washington, and the practical elimination of our state lines. There is a many-faceted drive at work to have our state lines eventually mean no more within the nation than our county lines do now within the states.
- The steady advance of federal aid to and control over our educational system leading to complete federalization of our public education.
- A constant hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare. The beauties and the absolute necessities of peace, peace always on communist terms of course.
- The constant willingness of the American people to allow the steps of appeasement by our government that amount to a piece meal surrender of the rest of the free world and the United States itself.

http://www.jbs.org/ - At a John Birch Society council dinner speech on March 9, 1974, society founder Robert Welch laid out what he called the "Insiders" long-range plans for the destruction of American sovereignty.
According to Wikipedia's entry on Welch, his term "Insiders" referred to a cartel of globalist organizations including Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission, as well as international financial and big business families such as the Rothschilds and Rockefellers. In other words, it's what is commonly referred to today as the New World Order: a powerful ultra elite perched on the tippy top of the pyramid and working furiously behind the scenes to bring about a totalitarian one-world government.
At that council dinner, Welch quoted himself from the John Birch Society's founding meeting in 1958 — 55 years ago now — laying out ten steps to destroy America. "A part of that plan, of course, is to induce the gradual surrender of American sovereignty, piece-by-piece and step-by-step, to various international organizations — of which the United Nations is the outstanding but far from the only example," he said.
Here are the ten steps Welch outlined:
- Greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible.
- Higher and then much higher taxes.
- An increasingly unbalanced budget despite the higher taxes.
- Wild inflation of our currency.
- Government controls of prices, wages and materials supposedly to combat inflation.
- Greatly increased socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives. This is to be accompanied naturally and automatically by a correspondingly huge increase in the size of our bureaucracy and in both the cost and reach of our domestic government.
- Far more centralization of power in Washington, and the practical elimination of our state lines. There is a many-faceted drive at work to have our state lines eventually mean no more within the nation than our county lines do now within the states.
- The steady advance of federal aid to and control over our educational system leading to complete federalization of our public education.
- A constant hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare. The beauties and the absolute necessities of peace, peace always on communist terms of course.
- The constant willingness of the American people to allow the steps of appeasement by our government that amount to a piece meal surrender of the rest of the free world and the United States itself.

Do not believe the propaganda by the Zionist controlled mass media and the two-party system. The John Birch Society has been advocating for a constitutional government since its founding in 1958. They are defenders of freedoms and libertarian values although they have no political party affiliation.
If we ignore the religious aspects, this may be among the best documentaries that explain, civil rights, the American government, and its intended economic system of a free market economy in simple, plain, and inspiring language. Topics covered are constitution, bill of rights, forms of government, political systems, collectivism (socialism), free market, competition, capital, property, the differences between a democracy and a republic, and the role of government in a free society.
However we should also ignore the strawman it creates for anarchism. It must be illustrated in the proper context because if it is not, it is defined under the framework of government where it does not belong. Hence, an anarchist society as described by critics would be contaminated by a public brainwashed by questionable values and immersed in bad economic conditions such as poverty, unemployment, and regression that the state itself propagated. Such line of reasoning is therefore invalid. This is analogous to using circular logic to defend a religious doctrine.
Subjecting society to illicit programming is one of the key things that anarchists intend to eliminate. A new society of enlightened thinkers might take one or more generations to fully develop but it can be done.
Anarchism is not freedom to generate a state of lawlessness but the liberty from instituting a lawless state. It is a stateless society whereby all individuals have the free will to exercise management over all aspects of their community or civilization. Control therefore stems from individuals who have self-interests to protect a prosperous and free society, not by elected statists who must but cannot be trusted not to abuse their power.
Regardless, I never dismiss an entire message based on a few disagreeable points. Enjoy this fine brief documentary.

Frank Rich is a former New York Times columnist whose opinions are now published in New York. He has just written about the worriers who are scratching their heads in discontent about the prospect of Trump winning the nomination and the White House. Rich pointedly cited the seeming desperation among “the Establishment” about the success achieved by the New York billionaire. He stated:
After Donald Trump’s victory in South Carolina, the GOP Establishment is left with what some political reporters have called “an urgent decision: Either destroy Mr. Trump or embrace him…. Far and away the Establishment’s bigger challenge is to destroy Trump."
The question Rich didn’t answer is: Who are the individuals who form this “Establishment”? He didn’t name any, so let us give an opinion about the people who seem anxious, according to Rich, to “destroy Mr. Trump.”

Bob Dylan wrote “Talkin’ John Birch Paranoid Blues” to parody the John Birch Society, a radical political movement that opposed the Civil Rights movement and tried to continue Joseph McCarthy’s red-scare efforts (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HegqLF7GYE). In true folk tradition, I borrowed his song to parody the latest threat to American democracy, Mr. Donald Trump.
These verses are original to me, though I intentionally kept lines based on the Bob Dylan version. I am certain that many of you are more eloquent and musically talented, so feel free to record your own versions, or suggest edits or new verses in the comments below. I’ll update the lyrics to reflect the best of these.

After an unexpected encounter with Jimmy Doolittle and the American pilots who bailed out in Zhejiang Province following their raid on Japan in spring 1942, Birch was recruited by Claire Chennault, leader of the Flying Tigers and the U.S. 14th Air Force, as a field intelligence officer.
Despite his colorful background as a missionary-turned-soldier, John Birch is better known today for what happened after he died. Shot and killed by Chinese Communist forces in the days immediately following Japan’s surrender, he was dubbed “the first casualty of World War III.” In the acrimonious debate over the "loss" of China, U.S. Senator William Knowland claimed that Birch was a martyr whose murder revealed the true intentions of the Communists. Thirteen years after Birch's death, a retired businessman from Boston named Robert Welch chose him as the figurehead of an anti-communist advocacy group, the John Birch Society.
In John Birch: A Life (Oxford, 2016), Terry Lautz, a longtime scholar of U.S.-China relations and director of the National Committee, unravels the mythology surrounding John Birch after conducting extensive archival research, interviewing Birch’s brothers, analyzing letters he wrote, and traveling to the places in China where he lived and died. In addition, Dr. Lautz explores the perception that John Birch is the personification of the longstanding American ambition to save and defend China. Terry Lautz discussed his book with the National Committee on February 11 in New York City.
Terry Lautz is a Moynihan Research Fellow and interim director of the East Asia Program at the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. The science is clear, the economics compelling and we now see political leadership emerging to take green investment to scale at a speed commensurate with the climate challenge.”
The panel includes Governor Jerry Brown of California, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, French President François Hollande, Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn, Philippines President Benigno Aquino III, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, and Mayor Eduardo Paes of Rio de Janeiro.

Down through the ages there have been many secret societies and conspiratorial movements that had as their goals absolute rule of the world, overthrow of all existing governments, and the final destruction of all religion. It is possible with much study to trace the origins and developments of many such movements: The early anti-Christian mysticism of the Gnostics; the conspiracy against orthodox Islam founded by Hasan Saba in Persia in 1090 AD as the Order of the Assassins; the apostate Order of the Knights Templar, whose heretical leaders imitated the Assassins’ system for the destruction of Christianity.
From the 13th through the 17th centuries such groups as the Luciferians, Rosicrucians, and the Levellers continued the war against Christianity that had begun in Europe with the Templars. Because a few organizational links can be found, it is even possible to establish that some of these groups were not merely imitating each other or some older system of belief. Many of these earlier movements, however, have left very fragmentary evidence, so it is not possible to trace from 1100-1700 any continuing organizational structure which was engaged in a coordinated and centrally controlled plot for world rule.
Early Associations
By the middle of the 18th century, remnants and parallels of various destructive movements began to associate under a central group which was to create a continuing organizational structure that would someday, its founders hoped, rule the world after all existing religions and governments had been destroyed. As Abbé Augustin Barruel documented in his invaluable study Memoirs Illustrating the History of Jacobinism, the intellectual base for this movement was laid in the mid-18th century by Voltaire, Rousseau, Diderot, and other members of the Paris Academy. This fraternity, which sought the destruction of Christian-style civilization, referred to itself grandly as the “Philosophes.”
Voltaire’s influence over King Frederick of Prussia and the publication of Diderot’s Encyclopédie, beginning in 1751, testified of the Philosophes’ early success. The conspirators hoped that the Encyclopédie would become a standard reference source wherein every literate person would seek knowledge on all subjects and thus receive propaganda against civil order and the Christian religion. Its publication caused the influence of this group to grow rapidly.
Voltaire bore an implacable hatred of all religions, of all monarchs, and of all morality derived from religious belief. He was obsessed with a fiendish desire for the total destruction of all three. He ended all his letters with the battle cry, “Let us crush the wretch! Crush the wretch!” The “wretch” to whom he referred, of course, is Christ and His Church. Christians, said Voltaire, are “beings exceedingly injurious, fanatics, thieves, dupes, imposters … enemies of the human race.” In the war against Christianity, according to Voltaire, “It is necessary to lie like a devil, not timidly and for a time, but boldly and always.”

Inspired by the radical Philosophes and instructed by a mysterious occultist named Kölmer from what is now Denmark, Adam Weishaupt, a professor of Canon Law at the University of Ingolstadt (in Bavaria, Germany) established a continuing organizational structure to direct the worldwide attack on religion and monarchy — a structure which would, he hoped, eventually rule the world. The organization Weishaupt founded on May 1, 1776 was called the Order of the Illuminati.

According to John Amato, founder of the Crooks and Liars blog, a Bloomberg poll confirms a notion that readers of The New American may celebrate but left-wing media outlets such as Crooks and Liars lament: The Tea Party movement's ideals are an extension of those held by The John Birch Society. The not-so-happy liberal blogger wrote, "A new Bloomberg poll on the Tea Party movement confirms ... Tea Party activists are an extension of the most extreme, far-right John Birch Society values, with the added bonus of funding from the corporate right."
According to Bloomberg, Respondents who identify with the Tea Party are almost unanimous in saying it stands for lower taxes, smaller government and personal responsibility. The Bloomberg poll also found:
"Four of five Tea Party supporters who say they plan to vote in the November congressional elections will back Republicans, even though one-third describe themselves as independents."
"More than six in 10 say [the Tea Party] advocates government based on Christian principles."
"Eight of 10 Tea Party voters back the 'Pledge to America.' "
"Six out of 10 Tea Party supporters who plan to vote say they want to overhaul or abolish the Fed."
"Almost seven in 10 Tea Party advocates say they would be less likely to support a candidate who voted for the bank rescue or the auto bailout."
"Half of the Tea Party voters consider the federal debt estimated at $1.3 trillion in fiscal 2010 by the Congressional Budget Office to be the most important issue facing the country."
"An overwhelming majority say they want a repeal of the health-care law championed by President Barack Obama."
"Almost nine of 10 of the movements backers disapprove of the job the president is doing."
Crooks and Liars examined the poll data specifically Tea Party's disdain for the Federal Reserve, the federal deficit, and the nanny state and determined it to prove that conservatives and Tea Partiers are influenced by The John Birch Society.
It is, of course, true that Tea Partiers are now trumpeting themes that John Birchers have been talking about for decades. Consider these warnings that Robert Welch made when he founded The John Birch Society in 1958, more than half a century prior to the launch of the Tea Party:
"Greatly expanded government spending, for missiles, for so-called defense generally, for foreign aid, for every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible."
"Higher and then much higher taxes."
"An increasingly unbalanced budget, despite the higher taxes."
"Wild inflation of our currency, leading rapidly towards its ultimate repudiation."
"Government controls of prices, wages, and materials, supposedly to combat inflation."
"Greatly increased socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives. This is to be accompanied, naturally and automatically, by a correspondingly huge increase in the size of our bureaucracy, and in both the cost and reach of our domestic government."
"Far more centralization of power in Washington, and the practical elimination of our state lines."

Businessman and founder Robert W. Welch, Jr. (1899–1985) developed an organizational infrastructure in 1958 of chapters nationwide. Its main activity in the 1960s, says Rick Perlstein, "comprised monthly meetings to watch a film by Welch, followed by writing postcards or letters to government officials linking specific policies to the Communist menace". After an early rise in membership and influence, efforts by people like conservative William F. Buckley, Jr. and National Review led the JBS to be identified as a fringe element of the conservative movement, mostly in fear of the radicalization of the American right.
Originally based in Belmont, Massachusetts, it is now headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, with local chapters throughout the United States. The organization owns American Opinion Publishing, which publishes The New American.
The organization supports limited government and opposes wealth redistribution and economic interventionism. It opposes collectivism, totalitarianism, and communism. It opposes socialism as well, which it asserts is infiltrating U.S. governmental administration. In a 1983 edition of Crossfire, Congressman Larry McDonald (D-Georgia), then its newly appointed president, characterized the society as belonging to the Old Right rather than the New Right.[13]
The society opposed the 1960s civil rights movement and claimed the movement had communists in important positions. In the latter half of 1965, the JBS produced a flyer titled "What's Wrong With Civil Rights?", which was used as a newspaper advertisement.[14][15] In the piece, one of the answers was: "For the civil rights movement in the United States, with all of its growing agitation and riots and bitterness, and insidious steps towards the appearance of a civil war, has not been infiltrated by the Communists, as you now frequently hear. It has been deliberately and almost wholly created by the Communists patiently building up to this present stage for more than forty years."[16] The society opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, claiming it violated the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution and overstepped individual states' rights to enact laws regarding civil rights. The society opposes "one world government", and it has an immigration reduction view on immigration reform. It opposes the United Nations, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA), the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), and other free trade agreements. They argue the U.S. Constitution has been devalued in favor of political and economic globalization, and that this alleged trend is not accidental. It cited the existence of the former Security and Prosperity Partnership as evidence of a push towards a North American Union.
The society was established in Indianapolis, Indiana, on December 9, 1958, by a group of 12 led by Robert W. Welch, Jr., a retired candy manufacturer from Belmont, Massachusetts. Welch named the new organization after John Birch, an American Baptist missionary and military intelligence officer who was shot and killed by communist forces in China in August 1945, shortly after the conclusion of World War II. Welch claimed that Birch was an unknown but dedicated anti-communist, and the first American casualty of the Cold War.[24] Jimmy Doolittle, who met Birch after bailing out over China following the Tokyo Raid, said in his autobiography that he was certain that Birch "would not have approved" of that particular use of his name.
