Judgement (or judgment) is the evaluation of evidence to make a decision. The term has four distinct uses:
It’s certainly easier to make assumptions about people than it is to spend time getting to know someone. We wanted to put assumptions to the test to see what we're missing out on because we're so busy assuming we already "know" a person. Join us as we discover why you should never judge a book by it’s cover in our series 'Tell My Story, Blind Date.' We are all conditioned with certain biases. In this experiment, we challenged these biases by asking people to guess their partner's interests and past experiences based only on their partner's appearance. When they learned their partner's real answers, they were shocked by how wrong they were. Now tell YOUR story. What do people assume about you? We love to connect with YOU, no matter what language you speak. Help SoulPancake create caption...
To get this video on judging others and the discussion guide go to http://www.openthemeeting.com/your-window-dvd-and-discussion-guide/ We all know others who are consistently critical and judgmental people; who jump to conclusions and enjoy backbiting, gossiping and faultfinding. Judging others is dangerous. Backbiting, gossiping and unfair faultfinding in the workplace can quickly damage friendships, employees, teams and many other relationships. People who quickly judge others and are constantly critical can really suck the energy out of relationships and teams. This short powerful story demonstrates that we all have Dirty Windows from time to time and that we should realize that we aren't perfect before we judge another. When you purchase this video you can use it in training, pre...

One of the most used and misinterpreted phrases in the Bible have been used by people as a defense mechanism against biblical judgment. Frank Turek explains what Jesus really meant when He spoke on judging others.

Judging....An often misunderstood subject. You hear people say..."you're judging"...well, there are some judgments we make that are necessary. People hide behind "thou shall not judge" to shield themselves from their deviant lifestyle. Anyway, here is an audio of Dr. Tony Evans from many years ago, dealing with this subject. This is the best sermon I have heard, that explains judgement in its proper context.

I won't be judged by the cover
Before you read the pages inside
I'm counting one, maybe two or three mistakes I've made
I never thought the cover couldn't hide
Don't bow down to the world
Everyone's a king in their own mind
(Don't bow down, don't bow down)
Don't bow down to the world
Everyone's a king in their own mind
A word, another word, just another word describing me
But there's a cost for what you say
I never said that you would get every word I mean
Still the word is the enemy anyway
Don't bow down to the world
Everyone's a king in their own mind
(Don't bow down, don't bow down)
Don't bow down to the world
Everyone's a king in their own mind
So who are you to judge me now?
Who am I to tell you how?
If there's one for judging, let me be the one
Let me be the one
Is it you, or is it me, is it everyone who sees
Every fault in every detail
You wish I was dead, but even death seems overrated
Because I won't, I won't, won't bow down
Don't bow down to the world
Everyone's a king in their own mind
(Don't bow down, don't bow down)
Don't bow down to the world
Everyone's a king in their own mind
So who are you to judge me now?
Who am I to tell you how?
If there's one for judging, let me be the one
Who are you to judge me now?
Who am I to tell you how?
If there's one for judging, let me be the one
Let me be the one
Let me be the one
Let me be the one
