Anima Mundi is a poetic combination of music and images created from the finest existing footage from the naturalist film field, interwoven with original images and accompanied by a continuous soundtrack composed by Philip Glass based on rhythms and music from the most unspoiled traditional ethnic music.
This work was designed to celebrate the Biological Diversity Campaign of WWF and to create feelings and emotions which, through rich, striking and breathtaking images from Nature may lead its viewers to feel that they are truly a part of the natural world.
The title, "Anima Mundi", reproposes a concept which, throughout the history of mankind from ancient times, conjures up a harmonic principle controlling the laws of life on earth in all its various forms and relationships. Natural order and beauty are based on differences and the endless variety of species, elements, beings and systems which together form a marvelous balanced and harmonious Whole.
Plato in his "Timeus", was the first to provide a complete description of the Anima Mundi concept, passed down from ancient mythology:
"... Therefore, we may consequently state that: this world is indeed a living being endowed with a soul and intelligence ... a single visible living entity containing all other living entities, which by their nature are all related."

Several ecological themes are firmly based on the idea of Anima Mundi, which attributes a cosmic breath to the earth. Nature, joyfully venerated for thousands of years by people all over the globe, supports the suffering of its generation simply because it is animated by a deeply rooted and mysterious vital force which justifies everything as well as the position of all elements in the complex order of nature.
Godfrey Reggio, the director of Anima Mundi, translated this concept into images to interpret WWF's campaign on biological diversity: the concept of Anima Mundi forms the basis of this film and requires a stylistic type of poetic communication, which is both immediately and deeply felt as it emotionally expresses the myriad of meanings contained in this concept, rather than to simply describe and explain them. Godfrey Reggio's intention is that of conjuring up a sense of the force of nature by following a path which goes beyond habit, calling forth the deep rooted and archaic sense of man's "being a part" of nature.

ANIMA MUNDI - THE SOUL OF THE WORLD.
Is a film about animals. It contains no actors, has not plot and has no script. Anima Mundi was created by Godfrey Reggio who also created Koyaanisqatsi.
Anima Mundi was commissioned by the Italian jewellery company Bvlgari, for the World Wide Fund for Nature which used the film for its Biological Diversity Program. The breathtaking images of nature where intended to make the viewer feel that they where part of the natural world. Philip Glass provided the musical score in Anima Mundi, as with all of Godfrey Reggio's films.
The concept of the term Anima Mundi is that the order and beauty of nature are made of the almost endless species and varieties of animals, elements and beings that make a balanced whole. All of the shots in Anima Mundi relate to this though, rather than just being images of animals that one might find in a BBC documentary.
The footage in Anima Mundi is made up of existing and newly shot footage. Only the finest existing footage was considered for the film. The score provides a good accompaniment to the animal scenes. Philip Glass often provides an unusual score, as is the case with Anima Mundi. However the sounds and rhythms complement the film well.

The world soul (Greek: ψυχή κόσμου, Latin: Anima mundi) is, according to several systems of thought, an intrinsic connection between all living things on the planet, which relates to our world in much the same way as the soul is connected to the human body. The idea originated with Plato and was an important component of most Neoplatonic systems:
Therefore, we may consequently state that: this world is indeed a living being endowed with a soul and intelligence ... a single visible living entity containing all other living entities, which by their nature are all related.
The Stoics believed it to be the only vital force in the universe. Similar concepts also hold in systems of eastern philosophy in the Brahman-Atman of Hinduism, and in the School of Yin-Yang, Taoism, and Neo-Confucianism as qi.
Other resemblances can be found in the thoughts of hermetic philosophers like Paracelsus, and by Baruch Spinoza, Gottfried Leibniz and by Friedrich Schelling (1775–1854). There are also similarities with ideas developed since the 1960s by Gaia theorists such as James Lovelock.

Mundi is a town and a nagar panchayat in Khandwa district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
Mundi is located at 22°04′N 76°30′E / 22.07°N 76.5°E / 22.07; 76.5. It has an average elevation of 289. metres (948 feet).
As of 2010[update] India census, Mundi had a population of 27,000. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Mundi has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70%, and female literacy is 52%. In Mundi, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.Mundi is the biggest town in khandwa district.

All of the shots in Anima Mundi relate to this though, rather than just being images of animals that one might find in a BBC documentary. The footage in Anima Mundi is made up of existing and newly shot footage. Only the finest existing footage was considered for the film. The score provides a good accompaniment to the animal scenes. Philip Glass often provides an unusual score, as is the case with Anima Mundi. However the sounds and rhythms complement the film well. -

în spiritul lumii mii de versuri şi concepţii stinse,

într-o Românie care doarme-adânc cu porţile închise.

Timpul trece şi încă ating hârtia,
ca o teamă, prinde infinitul, limita, o viaţă!
ce stârneşte-n suflet un fior ca cele din adâncuri...
o tot cheamă-n difuzor ca adevăr la suprafaţă.
E fix ce stiu să fac de când mă ştiu că trag,
pe tracku` ăsta dacă-atac compun, compozitor ca Bach,
şi numa`-numa` nu mă las__ deşi mă ţine treaz e gol,
voi fi recunoscut dacă nu azi poate-ntr-un secol.
Un nor, o ceaţă ..senzaţia e chin,
mi-e greaţă de atâta timp mi-e teamă că nu-mi mai revin.
Cum totu` curge lin, atât de divin
alungă ura omenirii, dă iubire cer senin.
Nu prea contează de-unde vin, doar ce gândesc

Anima Mundi is a poetic combination of music and images created from the finest existing footage from the naturalist film field, interwoven with original images and accompanied by a continuous soundtrack composed by Philip Glass based on rhythms and music from the most unspoiled traditional ethnic music.
This work was designed to celebrate the Biological Diversity Campaign of WWF and to create feelings and emotions which, through rich, striking and breathtaking images from Nature may lead its viewers to feel that they are truly a part of the natural world.
The title, "Anima Mundi", reproposes a concept which, throughout the history of mankind from ancient times, conjures up a harmonic principle controlling the laws of life on earth in all its various forms and relationships. Natural order and beauty are based on differences and the endless variety of species, elements, beings and systems which together form a marvelous balanced and harmonious Whole.
Plato in his "Timeus", was the first to provide a complete description of the Anima Mundi concept, passed down from ancient mythology:
"... Therefore, we may consequently state that: this world is indeed a living being endowed with a soul and intelligence ... a single visible living entity containing all other living entities, which by their nature are all related."
— Plato, Timeus, 29/30; 4th century B.C.
Several ecological themes are firmly based on the idea of Anima Mundi, which attributes a cosmic breath to the earth. Nature, joyfully venerated for thousands of years by people all over the globe, supports the suffering of its generation simply because it is animated by a deeply rooted and mysterious vital force which justifies everything as well as the position of all elements in the complex order of nature.
Godfrey Reggio, the director of Anima Mundi, translated this concept into images to interpret WWF's campaign on biological diversity: the concept of Anima Mundi forms the basis of this film and requires a stylistic type of poetic communication, which is both immediately and deeply felt as it emotionally expresses the myriad of meanings contained in this concept, rather than to simply describe and explain them. Godfrey Reggio's intention is that of conjuring up a sense of the force of nature by following a path which goes beyond habit, calling forth the deep rooted and archaic sense of man's "being a part" of nature.

ANIMA MUNDI - THE SOUL OF THE WORLD.
Is a film about animals. It contains no actors, has not plot and has no script. Anima Mundi was created by Godfrey Reggio who also created Koyaanisqatsi.
Anima Mundi was commissioned by the Italian jewellery company Bvlgari, for the World Wide Fund for Nature which used the film for its Biological Diversity Program. The breathtaking images of nature where intended to make the viewer feel that they where part of the natural world. Philip Glass provided the musical score in Anima Mundi, as with all of Godfrey Reggio's films.
The concept of the term Anima Mundi is that the order and beauty of nature are made of the almost endless species and varieties of animals, elements and beings that make a balanced whole. All of the shots in Anima Mundi relate to this though, rather than just being images of animals that one might find in a BBC documentary.
The footage in Anima Mundi is made up of existing and newly shot footage. Only the finest existing footage was considered for the film. The score provides a good accompaniment to the animal scenes. Philip Glass often provides an unusual score, as is the case with Anima Mundi. However the sounds and rhythms complement the film well.

"Carpe Diem" é uma divertida animação criada por Dimitri Kozma a partir da canção original escrita pelo músico brasileiro Syd Back, guitarrista e vocalista da banda Antiphona.
O filme mostra uma viagem fantástica dos personagens Blue e Pink por um mundo colorido e surreal. É divertimento garantido para todas as idades.
Dimitri Kozma utilizou diversas técnicas de animação, como stop motion, animação gráfica, 3D, 2D dentre outras.

O filme mostra uma viagem fantástica dos personagens Blue e Pink por um mundo colorido e surreal. É divertimento garantido para todas as idades.
Dimitri Kozma utilizou diversas técnicas de animação, como stop motion, animação gráfica, 3D, 2D dentre outras.
