One of the great joys of working on Mischief Managed was listening to all the amazing cues written for the Potter-movies over and over again. I'd usually get carried away listening to a tune, having to go back a few minutes because I forgot what I was listening for. Even now, I like to watch the video with just the soundtrack, and I figured you might like it to.
This video is in no way a substitute for any of the amazing scores, available for purchase now. I highly encourage you to get one, if not all of these. They're fantastic and should be in every Potterhead's possession.

Toyota Tundra
The Toyota Tundra is a pickup truck manufactured in the U.S. by the Japanese manufacturer Toyota since May 1999. The Tundra was the first North American full-size pickup to be built by a Japanese manufacturer. The Tundra was nominated for the North American Truck of the Year award and was Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year in 2000 and 2008. Initially built in a new Toyota plant in Princeton, Indiana, production was consolidated in 2008 to Toyota's San Antonio, Texas, factory and is the only full-size pickup truck manufactured in Texas.
The first generation Tundra had many similarities with the older Toyota T100 and the compact Toyota Tacoma. These included the shared use of a 3.4-liter V6 engine which was the top of the line engine in both the Tacoma and T100. The V6 engine would serve as the base engine for the Tundra, while a second engine was added, a 4.7-liter V8, the first V8 for a Toyota truck.
First generation (2000–2006)
Publicly introduced in May 1999 as a 2000 model, the Tundra prototypes and "show trucks" were initially known as T150s. However, Ford and automotive journalists described the name was too close to the market-leader Ford F-150, and following a lawsuit by Ford, the production truck was renamed the Tundra.

Dodge Ram
The Ram pickup (formerly the Dodge Ram pickup) is a full-size pickup truck manufactured by FCA US LLC (formerly Chrysler Group LLC). As of 2010, it has been sold under the Ram Trucks brand. Previously, Ram was part of the Dodge lineup of light trucks. The name Ram was first used in 1981 on the redesigned Ram and Power Ram following the retiring and rebadging of the Dodge D Series pickup trucks as well as B-series vans. The truck is named for the Ram hood ornament that first appeared on Dodge vehicles in 1933. The Ram Truck is in its fourth generation as of the 2009 model year.
Ram trucks have been named Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year five times; the second-generation Ram won the award in 1994, the third-generation Ram Heavy Duty won the award in 2003, the fourth-generation Ram Heavy Duty won in 2010 and the current Ram 1500 won in 2013 and 2014. The Ram is currently built at the Saltillo Truck Assembly in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico and at the Warren Truck Assembly in Warren, Michigan, United States.

Harry Potter
Harry Potter is a series of seven fantasy novels and one play written by British author J. K. Rowling. The series chronicles the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry's struggle against the Dark wizard Lord Voldemort, who aims to become immortal, overthrow the Ministry of Magic, subjugate non-magic people and destroy anyone who stands in his way.

Tundra
In physical geography, tundra is type of biome where the tree growth is hindered by low temperatures and short growing seasons. The term tundra comes through Russian тундра (tûndra) from the Kildin Sami word tūndâr "uplands", "treeless mountain tract". There are three types of tundra: arctic tundra,alpine tundra, and Antarctic tundra. In tundra, the vegetation is composed of dwarf shrubs, sedges and grasses, mosses, and lichens. Scattered trees grow in some tundra regions. The ecotone (or ecological boundary region) between the tundra and the forest is known as the tree line or timberline.
Arctic
Arctic tundra occurs in the far Northern Hemisphere, north of the taiga belt. The word "tundra" usually refers only to the areas where the subsoil is permafrost, or permanently frozen soil. (It may also refer to the treeless plain in general, so that northern Sápmi would be included.) Permafrost tundra includes vast areas of northern Russia and Canada. The polar tundra is home to several peoples who are mostly nomadic reindeer herders, such as the Nganasan and Nenets in the permafrost area (and the Sami in Sápmi).

We've recently started re-designing the systems that power xfinity.net and our mobile applications to use a novel, in memory distributed system called Sirius. Sirius allows us to build exactly the data structures we need to create our services in memory, and to do so across a distributed set of nodes. We're storing our non-personalized entertainment metadata, things like movies, TV series and videos in Sirius while keeping our personalized data in a key value store. This lets us greatly cut down on the number of network round trips that our services needs to make behind the scenes, which means we have a lot less partial failures and timeouts to deal with than we would in a traditional SOA architecture. It lets us scale out our system easily, since most of the data that we need to serve a request is on a single node, we can easily add more nodes to handle more traffic. The guts of Sirius are based on an implementation of multi-paxos written in Akka and Scala. In this presentation I'll go over the general architecture and design of the system, and then talk about some of the lessons we've learned from our foray into distributed systems development.

We've recently started re-designing the systems that power xfinity.net and our mobile applications to use a novel, in memory distributed system called Sirius. Sirius allows us to build exactly the data structures we need to create our services in memory, and to do so across a distributed set of nodes. We're storing our non-personalized entertainment metadata, things like movies, TV series and videos in Sirius while keeping our personalized data in a key value store. This lets us greatly cut down on the number of network round trips that our services needs to make behind the scenes, which means we have a lot less partial failures and timeouts to deal with than we would in a traditional SOA architecture. It lets us scale out our system easily, since most of the data that we need to serve a request is on a single node, we can easily add more nodes to handle more traffic. The guts of Sirius are based on an implementation of multi-paxos written in Akka and Scala. In this presentation I'll go over the general architecture and design of the system, and then talk about some of the lessons we've learned from our foray into distributed systems development.

DETROIT, M.I. -- MI Auto Times selected two more popular trucks for the second round of the "May the Best Truck Win" competition, this time the Dodge Ram 1500 SLT and the Toyota Tundra Regular Cab.
The first round of competition featured the GMC Sierra SLE overtaking the Ford F150. The editors at MI Auto Times worked many tireless nights to see that an objective winner between the two trucks was selected in the first round, and the second round of competition was no cakewalk.
The MI Auto Times May the Best Truck Win Competition rates trucks based on a set of categories, and awards stars based on each truck's specifications provided by each truck's automaker. The categories are value, power, comfort, and factory warranty. The highest possible rating in each category is four stars.
The value category assigns a star rating based on the national promotions offered and estimated cost of ownership. The power category awards stars based on payload, towing, horsepower, engine size, and torque. The comfort category judges by looking at the truck's interior, safety equipment and integrated, user-friendly technology and entertainment features. The final category, factory warranty, assesses how automakers back their trucks.
In the power category both the Dodge Ram Mi and the Toyota Tundra Detroit earned 3 ½ stars, making it a tie. With its 4.7-liter V8 engine, the Dodge Ram Michigan has more displacement capacity and therefore more power to its engine than the 4.6-liter V8 of the Toyota Tundra. Both vehicles kick out the same amount of horsepower at 310, but the Dodge Ram MI has more torque than the Toyota Tundra Michigan At these model levels, the Toyota Tundra was the champion tower with a towing capacity of 7,500 and also had a larger payload capacity of 1,795. The Dodge Ram MI had a 6,650 towing capacity and 1,340 payload capacity, which comes out to 850 pounds less towing ability and 455 pounds shy of beating the Toyota Tundra Michigan.
In the value category the Toyota Tundra's earned 3 ½ stars against the Dodge Ram's 3 stars. Though there are no national offers currently listed for the Toyota Tundra, even with the Dodge Ram's GMAC bonus cash of $1,000 on all Ram 1500 models still puts it at $100 higher than the Toyota Tundra Detroit. Also, the Toyota Tundra lists a better miles-per-gallon rating of 15 city/20 highway against the Dodge Ram's 14 city/19 highway. That equates to 17 combined mpg for the Toyota Tundra versus 15 combined mpg for the Dodge Ram MI. Furthermore, estimated annual fuel cost of the Toyota Tundra Michigan is $323 less than the Dodge Ram.

The Dodge Ram has more standard comfort features than the Toyota Tundra Detroit and they include: power door looks, power mirrors, power windows, power sliding rear window, cruise control and heated mirrors. Both have standard MP3 capability but only the Dodge Ram offers one year of SIRIUS satellite radio service for free; the Toyota Tundra requires a monthly fee for satellite radio and $449 cost3.

Corrosion coverage on the Toyota Tundra is for unlimited miles but ends after 60 months compared to the Dodge Ram Michigan, which has corrosion coverage for 5 years/100,000 miles.

DETROIT, M.I. -- MI Auto Times selected two more popular trucks for the second round of the "May the Best Truck Win" competition, this time the Dodge Ram 1500 SLT and the Toyota Tundra Regular Cab.
The first round of competition featured the GMC Sierra Detroit SLE overtaking the Ford F150. The editors at MI Auto Times worked many tireless nights to see that an objective winner between the two trucks was selected in the first round, and the second round of competition was no cakewalk.
The MI Auto Times May the Best Truck Win Detroit Competition rates trucks based on a set of categories, and awards stars based on each truck's specifications provided by each truck's automaker. The categories are value, power, comfort, and factory warranty. The highest possible rating in each category is four stars.
The value category assigns a star rating based on the national promotions offered and estimated cost of ownership. The power category awards stars based on payload, towing, horsepower, engine size, and torque. The comfort category judges by looking at the truck's interior, safety equipment and integrated, user-friendly technology and entertainment features. The final category, factory warranty, assesses how automakers back their trucks.
In the power category both the Dodge Ram Detroit and the Toyota Tundra Detroit earned 3 ½ stars, making it a tie. With its 4.7-liter V8 engine, the Dodge Ram Michigan has more displacement capacity and therefore more power to its engine than the 4.6-liter V8 of the Toyota Tundra. Both vehicles kick out the same amount of horsepower at 310, but the Dodge Ram MI has more torque than the Toyota Tundra Michigan At these model levels, the Toyota Tundra was the champion tower with a towing capacity of 7,500 and also had a larger payload capacity of 1,795. The Dodge Ram MI had a 6,650 towing capacity and 1,340 payload capacity, which comes out to 850 pounds less towing ability and 455 pounds shy of beating the Toyota Tundra Michigan.
In the value category the Toyota Tundra's earned 3 ½ stars against the Dodge Ram's 3 stars. Though there are no national offers currently listed for the Toyota Tundra, even with the Dodge Ram's GMAC bonus cash of $1,000 on all Ram 1500 models still puts it at $100 higher than the Toyota Tundra Detroit. Also, the Toyota Tundra lists a better miles-per-gallon rating of 15 city/20 highway against the Dodge Ram's 14 city/19 highway. That equates to 17 combined mpg for the Toyota Tundra versus 15 combined mpg for the Dodge Ram MI. Furthermore, estimated annual fuel cost of the Toyota Tundra Michigan is $323 less than the Dodge Ram.
In the comfort category the Dodge Ram earned 4 stars against the Toyota Tundra's 3 stars. The Dodge Ram has more standard comfort features than the Toyota Tundra Detroit and they include: power door looks, power mirrors, power windows, power sliding rear window, cruise control and heated mirrors. Both have standard MP3 capability but only the Dodge Ram offers one year of SIRIUS satellite radio service for free; the Toyota Tundra requires a monthly fee for satellite radio and $449 cost3.

Get a contemporary taste of the old Deep South blues groove with writer and musician Adam Gussow as he reads from his autobiographical works, Mister Satan’s Apprentice: A Blues Memoir, and Journeyman’s Road: Modern Blues Lives From Faulkner’s Mississippi to Post-9/11 New York, and blows some funky blues harp. Self- described as a “lonely guy on the back porch, stomping his foot as he sings and blows the blues,” Gussow will entertain and enthrall with his one-man band and reading.
Raised in Congers, NY, Adam Gussow (Ph.D., Princeton) is an associate professor of english and Southern Studies at the university of mississippi, where he teaches courses in American and African American literature, the blues tradition, southern autobiography, and race in American culture. He has published three books: Mister Satan’s Apprentice: A Blues Memoir; Seems Like Murder Here: Southern Violence and the Blues Tradition, winner of the Holman Award from the Society for the Study of Southern Literature; and Journeyman’s Road: Modern Blues Lives From Faulkner’s Mississippi to Post-9/11 New York. Gussow’s articles and reviews have appeared in American Literature, African American Review, Southern Cultures, boundary 2, Harper’s, and many other publications. He is currently working on a book about the devil and the blues.
In addition to his academic credentials, Gussow is a professional harmonica player and teacher. As a member of the Handy Award-nominated blues duo Satan and Adam for more than 20 years, he has played countless major blues, jazz, and folk festivals, recorded three CDs, and been featured on the cover of Living Blues magazine. His debut solo CD, Kick and Stomp (2010), garnered rave reviews and heavy play on Bluesville (Sirius/Xm), the leading satellite radio station.
Through his website, modernBluesHarmonica.com, Gussow has pioneered the teaching of the instrument with the help of downloadable videos and tab sheets.
