The FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK ADV campaign, designed by its creator Philippe Starck and WKH photographer James Bort. The new press campaign of FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK combines the multi-year experience of Ceramica Sant'Agostino, with the creative genius of Philippe Starck and the visionary intuition of the photographer James Bort. Starck and Bort have offered their own personal take on the sharp project approach of the collection by combining design with art.
Design is represented by the constant presence on the scene of FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK, which evolves into a dominating element, a canvas on which to illustrate a faced-paced story. As James Bort explains: « I imagined these walls as if they were cinema screens, using them to project images taken from my dreams and from the stories I invent. »
Starck and Bort have been able to bring an extraordinary new dimension to FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK, in which, as Starck explains, « what is important is a sense of marvel, the poetic originality of a surreal situation in which people find themselves doing as little as possible with the minimum indispensable to obtain maximum mental effect. »
The campaign, composed of a 1.33 minute film and a table-based version, will be visible via the most important international media.
Filippo Manuzzi, Brand Manager of Ceramica Sant’Agostino, commented «The visual interpretation of FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK by James Bort and Philippe Starck is extraordinary, fresh and innovative. Ceramica
Ceramica was a museum in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, which explored the history of the area's pottery industry. It was located in the former Burslem Town Hall.
Exhibits included displays about ceramics manufacturers Wade Ceramics, Royal Doulton, Sadlers, Dudson, Steelite, Royal Stafford, Moorland, Burleigh Pottery, Moorcroft and Cobridge Stoneware. There were interactive displays and video presentations for children on ceramic history and local history.
The museum was set up using National Lottery money from the Millennium Commission. In March 2011 the museum closed after its Stoke-on-Trent City Council funding was withdrawn, due to government funding cuts. Some of the exhibits were transferred to other locations and the future of Burslem town hall is being reviewed.

Antonio Russo (Francavilla al Mare, June 3, 1960 – Tbilisi, October 16, 2000) ex Vice-President of the International Press Free lance (FLIP), was an Italian journalist who was murdered while covering the Second Chechen War.
Biography
Antonio Russo was a free-lance, used to live firsthand the hottest events. Born in 1961 in Chieti, (Abruzzo) is taken from an orphanage in about 6 years. Leave in the 80s the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Pisa to register, in '86, at the Faculty of Philosophy of "La Sapienza" of Rome. Always in '86 he founded with a group of students from the magazine "Philosophema", which he devotes much of his intellectual commitment.
After studying philosophy, he began making the profession of journalism, in the nineties, his first service, a report from Siberia (with Radical Radio). He had not wanted join to 'Association of Journalists' (both publicists than professionals) and had turned down offers of warheads emblazoned, since so he felt free to tell without vetoes the realities of war and - he said - the atrocities that civilians were forced to endure.

The FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK ADV campaign, designed by its creator Philippe Starck and WKH photographer James Bort. The new press campaign of FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK combines the multi-year experience of Ceramica Sant'Agostino, with the creative genius of Philippe Starck and the visionary intuition of the photographer James Bort. Starck and Bort have offered their own personal take on the sharp project approach of the collection by combining design with art.
Design is represented by the constant presence on the scene of FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK, which evolves into a dominating element, a canvas on which to illustrate a faced-paced story. As James Bort explains: « I imagined these walls as if they were cinema screens, using them to project images taken from my dreams and from the stories I invent. »
Starck and Bort have been able to bring an extraordinary new dimension to FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK, in which, as Starck explains, « what is important is a sense of marvel, the poetic originality of a surreal situation in which people find themselves doing as little as possible with the minimum indispensable to obtain maximum mental effect. »
The campaign, composed of a 1.33 minute film and a table-based version, will be visible via the most important international media.
Filippo Manuzzi, Brand Manager of Ceramica Sant’Agostino, commented «The visual interpretation of FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE by S+ARCK by James Bort and Philippe Starck is extraordinary, fresh and innovative. Am primit c300 de la Canon Romania (multumesc Florin) pentru o zi si jumatate si bineinteles ca am vrut sa il vad la lucru. Am descarcat manualul, am vazut toate review-urile de pe net, am luat agenda telefonica, am dat telefoane si in final am ajuns la Horezu. Ceea ce a iesit in ograda domnului Bascu puteti vedea in filmuletul alaturat, iar impresiile mele, un om care de 3 ani a filmat aproape numai pe 5 d mk 2/3, sunt:
- camera nu e mare, dar nici mica; cu modulul de monitor, cu microfon si cu un obiectiv serios pe ea capata o forma care numai discreta nu e; pare genul de camera de folosit pe rig sau pe o montura zdravana care se opereaza optim cu asistent; adica te poti misca cu ea si o poti folosi in locuri inguste, mici dar nu este la fel de versatila ca un DSLR;
- poate fi adusa la un minim renuntand la accesorii, dar se pierde functionalitate: fara mufe xlr, fara control de sunet rapid, vizare doar prin ocular este tot relativ mare;
- manerele sunt ajustabile si/sau demontabile - camera se poate adapta pentru o multitudine de situatii;
- are 4 butoane de rec /stop si, cum a fost in cazul meu, raspunde si la telecomanda Lanc de pe trepied; exista inclusiv un buton de rec pozitionat sub obiectiv, care se poate apasa cu inelarul atunci cand manevrezi obiectivul;
- camera este doar full manual, prin urmare este gandita pentru a avea maximul de control, dar bineinteles ca asta presupune sa iti rezervi timp pentru reglaje; are push white balance si auto gain la sunet, dar in rest totul trebuie reglat
- de mentionat ca acest aparat nu are exponometru inclus, insa are zebra (probabil ca asistentul ar trebui sa aiba si un exponometru :) )
- din fericire monitorul este extraordinar, deci in conditii normale te poti baza pe el sa faci expunerea la ochi;
- de asemenea are si un sistem de focus peak foarte bine implementat (ce bun ar fi si pe 5d )
- start-up 5 secunde - destul de mult pentru unele situatii;
- baterie foarte buna - circa 2 ore de filmare (mark 3 circa jumatate de ora)
- nu are slow motion; trage la maxim 60 fps in 720p si 30 in 1080p - la fel ca orice dslr; este una din chestiile pe care le-as fi dorit in plus;
- iso maxim este 20 000! si arata super bine ! inclusiv la iso foarte mare are o granulatie placuta si, chiar cand este vizibila, nu este deranjanta; dintre toate camerele existente pe piata, este dupa parerea mea in top 3 in low light;
- tot legat de calitate, imaginile au un feeling foarte organic, are o plaja dinamica foarte buna (si are chiar si c-log, un fel de raw), iar rezolutia si fidelitatea camerei sunt excelente (ce inseamna sa ai un senzor dedicat); la ochi eu am folosit modul cine 1, dar setarile de profile de culoare si ajustari sunt super de finete (poti regla toate valorile dintr-un meniu dedicat: gamut, nivel de negru, rgb, etc.);
- Iso minim este 320 - in soare, daca vrei sa filmezi la 1/50, trebuie sa inchizi diafragma sau sa folosesti filtre nd (din fericire are buton dedicat pentru a activa nd-urile incorporate cu 2, 4 si 6 trepte). Tot legat de schimbarea brusca de lumina, de exemplu interior-exterior, este de mentionat ca dureaza ceva timp pana o poti regla, pentru ca nu are butoane dedicate pentru fiecare parametru. Trebuie sa apesi pe tasta function pentru a comuta intre iso, shutter si balans de alb, iar apoi sa te folosesti de un joystick. Din fericire, ND-urile au butoane, diafragma este pe rotita la indemana, iar pentru utilizatorii avansati, toate butoanele de pe suprafata aparatului se pot reconfigura, deci se pot face comenzi adaptate pentru stilul fiecaruia;
- are toate conectica necesara pentru orice tip de productie: sdi, hdmi, timecode, audio in/out etc;
- are 3 intrari de sunet (1 jack si 2 xlr), iesire de casti, butoane mecanice pentru toate setarile audio, mixer de canale si monitorizare pe ecran; aceleasi microfoane cu care lucram pe 5d au dat rezultate mult mai bune pe mufele si preamp-ul din c300;
- tot legat de sunet: camera este galagioasa; are un sistem de racire foarte zgomotos care se poate auzi pe un microfon omnidirectional.
- de asemenea, e de mentionat ca c300 nu are microfon inclus, deci, daca nu i se conecteaza unul, nu trage audio; asadar, chiar si pentru sunet de referinta, trebuie conectat un microfon;
- C300 inregistreaza fisiere format mpeg mxf cu o calitate maxima de 50mbps pe 2 carduri (slot A si B inseriate sau in redundanta);
- nu in ultimul rand, un mare avantaj pentru mine este ca am putut folosi totul de la DSLR; practic doar am schimbat body-ul de 5d cu C300;
Una peste alta, desi am facut o paralela si l-am comparat cu 5 d deoarece asta folosesc eu, c300 este intr-o clasa aparte, este o camera de nivel cinema, deghizata intr-o forma compacta, care ofera o calitate extraordinara, la un pret rezonabil raportat la concurenta. - nu are slow motion; trage la maxim 60 fps in 720p si 30 in 1080p - la fel ca orice dslr; este una din chestiile pe care le-as fi dorit in plus;
- iso maxim este 20 000! si arata super bine ! inclusiv la iso foarte mare are o granulatie placuta si, chiar cand este vizibila, nu este deranjanta; dintre toate camerele existente pe piata, este dupa parerea mea in top 3 in low light;
- tot legat de calitate, imaginile au un feeling foarte organic, are o plaja dinamica foarte buna (si are chiar si c-log, un fel de raw), iar rezolutia si fidelitatea camerei sunt excelente (ce inseamna sa ai un senzor dedicat); la ochi eu am folosit modul cine 1, dar setarile de profile de culoare si ajustari sunt super de finete (poti regla toate valorile dintr-un meniu dedicat: gamut, nivel de negru, rgb, etc.);
- Iso minim este 320 - in soare, daca vrei sa filmezi la 1/50, trebuie sa inchizi diafragma sau sa folosesti filtre nd (din fericire are buton dedicat pentru a activa nd-urile incorporate cu 2, 4 si 6 trepte). Tot legat de schimbarea brusca de lumina, de exemplu interior-exterior, este de mentionat ca dureaza ceva timp pana o poti regla, pentru ca nu are butoane dedicate pentru fiecare parametru. Trebuie sa apesi pe tasta function pentru a comuta intre iso, shutter si balans de alb, iar apoi sa te folosesti de un joystick. Din fericire, ND-urile au butoane, diafragma este pe rotita la indemana, iar pentru utilizatorii avansati, toate butoanele de pe suprafata aparatului se pot reconfigura, deci se pot face comenzi adaptate pentru stilul fiecaruia;
- are toate conectica necesara pentru orice tip de productie: sdi, hdmi, timecode, audio in/out etc;
- are 3 intrari de sunet (1 jack si 2 xlr), iesire de casti, butoane mecanice pentru toate setarile audio, mixer de canale si monitorizare pe ecran; aceleasi microfoane cu care lucram pe 5d au dat rezultate mult mai bune pe mufele si preamp-ul din c300;
- tot legat de sunet: camera este galagioasa; are un sistem de racire foarte zgomotos care se poate auzi pe un microfon omnidirectional.
- de asemenea, e de mentionat ca c300 nu are microfon inclus, deci, daca nu i se conecteaza unul, nu trage audio; asadar, chiar si pentru sunet de referinta, trebuie conectat un microfon;
- C300 inregistreaza fisiere format mpeg mxf cu o calitate maxima de 50mbps pe 2 carduri (slot A si B inseriate sau in redundanta);
- nu in ultimul rand, un mare avantaj pentru mine este ca am putut folosi totul de la DSLR; practic doar am schimbat body-ul de 5d cu C300;
Una peste alta, desi am facut o paralela si l-am comparat cu 5 d deoarece asta folosesc eu, c300 este intr-o clasa aparte, este o camera de nivel cinema, deghizata intr-o forma compacta, care ofera o calitate extraordinara, la un pret rezonabil raportat la concurenta. Para obtener el rojo, el más difícil de todos, hay que eliminar el oxígeno en el tercer fuego.
Y para conseguirlo hay que estar dispuesto a emprender un largo camino, superar pruebas y pruebas, horas de esmaltes, proporciones y pesadas, tiempos y temperaturas de cocción, sobreponerse al desánimo y la decepción, intentarlo de nuevo, y quemarse muchas veces los dedos.
Fernando Alcalde emprendió ese viaje, que es en realidad un viaje iniciático, y ha comprometido toda su vida en él. Por eso conoce los secretos que solo están al alcance de un maestro de la alquimia, una sabiduría acumulada que transmite a los demás en forma de objetos únicos, mágicos.
Sostener una de sus piezas en la mano, los sentidos expuestos al enigma del volumen, el peso y el tacto, es una experiencia que nos conecta, lo sepamos o no, con el vértigo de una historia que empieza en el neolítico y llega hasta hoy mismo. Pero Fernando, aunque lo merezca, no está para ser encerrado en una vitrina de museo, ya fuera el Nacional González Martí, muy irregular, o el más atrevido Museu de Ceràmica de Barcelona (no hay mucho donde elegir, así tenemos de descuidado el patio).
Fernando está, eso sí, para que nos sirvamos de sus cosas a diario.
No encuentro mejores palabras para transmitir la sencilla verdad con la que Fernando expresa su manera de ver la realidad, despojada de toda retórica. Fernando deposita una refinada belleza en estos objetos que remiten a la naturaleza del caolín, el cuarzo, el feldespato y la asombrosa anatomía de las semillas y las plantas. Utilizar sus platos y fuentes, el sencillo acto de beber de uno de sus vasos, equivale a llevarse a los labios todas las sensaciones y todos los colores de una estación entera del año.
Tener algo suyo en casa es como abrir la puerta a la buena música. Un placer que nunca falla.

Well, good afternoon from sunny Athens. We are currently exploring the Greek capital. We recently actually spent a few days traveling around Meteora and now we're finishing up our trip here in Athens. We've got two full days to explore the city which isn't a lot of time but we're going to try to do our best.
Our first stop was one of the most recognized sights in Athens - the Parthenon, which was dedicated to the goddess Athena who was seen as the patron of Athens.
After sunset we lingered atop Mount Lycabettus for some night views of the city before taking the funicular down to the bottom. Seeing the Acropolis all lit up at night was a pretty cool sight!
Next up we visited the Temple of Zeus which once housed the statue of Zeus, and was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
When it comes to shopping, there are a few different options. We made our way to Monastiraki, which is one of the principal shopping districts in Athens. Here we visited both the Flea Market and the antique shops in the area.
The Agora was the central spot in ancient Greek city-states, and it is where people gathered.
So we are wrapping up our time here in Athens. Any surprises or final thoughts to share? Yeah, something that really surprised me were just the amount of stray animals that I saw on the streets.
I also thought there was really good dining options as well. We had a number of really good Greek meals and also some really good International food too.
Final thoughts, I think this is a really underrated capital in Europe. A lot like Warsaw in Poland so if you have an opportunity to visit Athens in Greece definitely do so.
So what did you think of Athens? Well, I thought it was a really cool city and I actually had a great time here. It kind of reminded me a little bit of Tel Aviv with the Mediterranean feel but also Berlin because it is very artsy and gritty. So it's a really cool place to check out. Great food, lots of attractions. You have a mix of antiquity with urban.

So Hello from London! Time for a new destination. This is a city that I haven't visited in almost 4 years. So we're both very excited to be in London. And we're going to be making a little video guide. Actually a really big video guide because we plan on showing you 50 different things to do around London.
Our first stop was Trafalgar Square. This square leads to a lot of central attractions, so it's a nice place to people watch, get your bearings, and plan out where you want to go in the city.
The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the Thames. It offers a bird's eye view of the city.
Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence for Britain's sovereigns since 1837. The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors every year.
The Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament, is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The Palace along with Big Ben are two of the top London attractions that dot the city-scape.
The Tower of London sits on the north bank of the River Thames.
And that's a wrap for London! Like with any mega city, it's impossible to cover all the sights and attractions you can enjoy here, but hopefully this video will give you an idea of what London has to offer.

1) Chiang Mai is famous for its night markets. We suggest starting off at the Sunday Night Market which is best explored from Thapea Gate. From handicrafts to silverware and from souvenirs to silks, you'll shop until you drop. In my opinion, an even better thing to do at the market is to indulge in as much Thai street food as possible.
2) Elephant tourism runs rampant in and around Chiang Mai. Unfortunately, the well being of the elephants is rarely a consideration. Visiting the Elephant Nature Park, known as an elephant sanctuary and rehabilitation center, is somewhere you can go to interact with elephants knowing full well they are being taken care of and not exploited. A trip to the park is a memorable experience that is both incredibly fun and extremely education.
3) From the roof of our apartment building we had often had unobstructed views of Doi Suthep. It was only a matter of time before we decide to take a Songthaew up to explore it on foot. Although it is very touristy, it is still well worth a visit - especially for the views of Chiang Mai!
4) Few cuisines are more famous around the world than Thai food. While you're in Chiang Mai be sure to take a cooking class to learn how to make all of your favorite Thai dishes. An even better idea is to go to the countryside where you can have a more authentic and rural cooking experience.
5) Although I love the Sunday Night Market my favorite night market in Chiang Mai happens on Saturday. Possibly because it is only a stone throw away from where we lived in Chiang Mai, I just enjoyed wandering through the maze of people and shops to eat as much Thai street food as possible.
6) You can't visit Chiang Mai without trying its most famous Northern Thai dish - Khao Soi. Crispy and soft noodles float around in a coconut milk base with various vegetables. It's delicious and one of the cheapest meal options in the city!
7) When you have time - and a friend to go with - reserve a table at a restaurant that specializes in Khantoke sets. Served with sticky rice and a plethora of small dishes you'll get a real sense of what Northern Thai food is all about.
8) Wander around the neighborhoods outside of the city center. A big part of why Chiang Mai is so charming has to do with its various neighborhoods. Get off the beaten path and just go explore around. Here we show you our neighborhood, which is not far from Chiang Mai South Gate.

1) Chiang Mai is famous for its night markets. We suggest starting off at the Sunday Night Market which is best explored from Thapea Gate. From handicrafts to silverware and from souvenirs to silks, you'll shop until you drop. In my opinion, an even better thing to do at the market is to indulge in as much Thai street food as possible.
2) Elephant tourism runs rampant in and around Chiang Mai. Unfortunately, the well being of the elephants is rarely a consideration. Visiting the Elephant Nature Park, known as an elephant sanctuary and rehabilitation center, is somewhere you can go to interact with elephants knowing full well they are being taken care of and not exploited. A trip to the park is a memorable experience that is both incredibly fun and extremely education.
3) From the roof of our apartment building we had often had unobstructed views of Doi Suthep. It was only a matter of time before we decide to take a Songthaew up to explore it on foot. Although it is very touristy, it is still well worth a visit - especially for the views of Chiang Mai!
4) Few cuisines are more famous around the world than Thai food. While you're in Chiang Mai be sure to take a cooking class to learn how to make all of your favorite Thai dishes. An even better idea is to go to the countryside where you can have a more authentic and rural cooking experience.
5) Although I love the Sunday Night Market my favorite night market in Chiang Mai happens on Saturday. Possibly because it is only a stone throw away from where we lived in Chiang Mai, I just enjoyed wandering through the maze of people and shops to eat as much Thai street food as possible.
6) You can't visit Chiang Mai without trying its most famous Northern Thai dish - Khao Soi. Crispy and soft noodles float around in a coconut milk base with various vegetables. It's delicious and one of the cheapest meal options in the city!
7) When you have time - and a friend to go with - reserve a table at a restaurant that specializes in Khantoke sets. Served with sticky rice and a plethora of small dishes you'll get a real sense of what Northern Thai food is all about.
8) Wander around the neighborhoods outside of the city center. A big part of why Chiang Mai is so charming has to do with its various neighborhoods. Get off the beaten path and just go explore around. Here we show you our neighborhood, which is not far from Chiang Mai South Gate.

There is just so much to see and do in Korea from food to culture and from attractions and cities worth visiting. From Seoul to Busan and from countryside to urban city centers there is something for everyone. The following recommendation for the top things to do in South Korea:

1) Visiting Insadong
Considered by many to the cultural hub of Seoul, Insadong is the perfect place to indulge in Korean street, go shopping and take in Korean traditional musical performances. It is also one of the best places for people watching as you'll notice a mix of both Koreans and foreigners.
2) Korean Folk Village
The Korean Folk Village, nestled in between the cities of Suwon and Yongin, is a place you'll definitely want to check out. While wandering around he scenic premises you can snack on Korean street food delights such as sugary taffy where you'll notice traditional Korean wedding ceremonies, tightrope walking and equestrian students and performances. The best time of year to come is in the fall or spring.
3) Cat Cafes
Although we've been to several cat cafes in Thailand, Malaysia and Germany we still haven't found one that tops the cat cafe we visited in Hongdae, Seoul, South Korea. Purchase an entrance ticket, which entitles you to a drink, allows you to come in and interact with the cats playing, feeding and petting them to your hearts content.
4) One of the most historic markets in all of Seoul - and Korea for that matter - is Namdaemun Market. As the largest and oldest open air market in all of Korea you'll have a chance to shop and eat Korean street food all day long. My favorite snack here is hotteok.
5) A scenic and peaceful way to experience the heart of downtown Seoul is to wander along the Cheonggyecheon. There are few places that are more attractive to go walking. When we visited in winter we noticed many ice sculptures.
6) To beat the heat in the winter, visit a traditional Korean tea house for a fragrant cup of hot fruity tea and a delicious plate of Korean rice cake snacks.
7) Not a fan of cats? Try visiting a dog cafe as an alternative. It's the same deal as the cat cafe in terms of purchasing overpriced drinks for the chance to play and interact with cute dogs and puppies.
8) Kimbap Restaurant
For excellent Korean rice rolls, known as kimbap, head to one of the ubiquitous locations for some excellent kimchi fried rice, mandu and Korean soups.
9) Bamboo Park
If you visit the city of Damyang, in the southern region of Korea, you'll be treated to the Damyang Bamboo Forest Park. A nice scenic escape from urban Korean life, these parks do sometimes get crowded.
10) Boseong Tea Fields and Plantation
Not far from the Bamboo Forest Park is the Boseong Tea Fields. Come climb up to the very top - it's quite the workout and enjoy a cup of green tea or green tea flavored ice cream upon returning to the bottom.
11) There are a plethora of fascinating palaces and temples to explore in Seoul. Our favorite, is Gyeongbokgung Palace where admission is only 3000 Won.
12) If you're ready to shop until you drop be sure to visit Myeongdong, one of the most popular shopping districts in all of Seoul. Here you'll find swanky boutique shops and plenty of restaurants.
13) For the art and hipster scene be sure to visit Hongdae, the most popular student hangout area for Koreans. From food to nightlife to shopping this place has it all for young 20 somethings.
14) An alternative to Itaewon is Songtan - located nearby an American Military base in the Pyeongtaek region. This is where you'll come to buy American goods and to eat International cuisine.
15) Seoul Tower offers amazing views of the city but I enjoyed climbing Namsan even more. The climb is free and it best enjoyed on a fall or spring afternoon when the weather is cool.
