Critics are claiming that the Obama administration is the worst in years when it comes to Freedom of Information Act requests. Some of the main complaints from open government advocates include Administration lawyers aggressively fighting requests, the administration's apparent war on whistleblowers, the justice department going after reporters over sources, and more fees for those seeking the release of information. Bottom line, the information is out there and if you don't file a FOIA request, you won't receive it, so request away and if the Obama administration sees fit you just might get a response.

Wolfgang Halbig, former teacher, law enforcement, and current national school safety assessment & emergency management consultant, appeared in Hartford CT for PART 3 of the FOIA hearings, the purpose of which is to acquire public access to the police Dash Cam Videos of December 14, 2012.
Docket # FIC 2015-786: Wolfgang Halbig v. Commissioner, State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection; and State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.
Halbig maintains that the so-called Sandy Hook CT shootings were a staged cooperative government - community "Capstone" exercise planned years before December 2012, for the purpose of banning commonly-used firearms and limiting free speech. Halbig asserts the incident was a financial bonanza for the Newtown community and involved parents, all involved parents moving into the CT community only between 2009-2011, and all receiving over $200K each for their involvement in the exercise. Halbig's questions to Newtown are returned with silence and contempt; threat of arrest.
Many details don't add up... record shows no report of actual shots fired; no social security numbers for the dead students; 16 state troopers pre-positioned 45-60 minutes before the alleged shootings; tax accessor's website shows the families got free houses on Christmas day when all government offices are closed; half-a-dozen charities set up for alleged victims days before the shootings; no one sued the school or the estate of Nancy Lanza; no parent wanted to see their children in the school; closed casket funerals; no EMT's allowed in the school; the shooter was a 112-pound weakling with a debilitating condition but shoots like Rambo....with 95% percent kill rate; crisis actors; and much more.

VICE News investigative journalist Jason Leopold has used the Freedom of Information Act to break stories on hot-button issues. He was asked to testify before the House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform to discuss the law’s dire need of reform and problems with compliance.
The two-day hearing included testimonies from five journalists, five members of transparency organizations, and FOIA officials from the IRS, Departments of Justice, State, Homeland Security, and Treasury. Several members of the Oversight Committee, including Chairman Jason Chaffetz, said they will draw up the testimony to improve a FOIA reform bill making its way through Congress.

The Freedom of Information Act Request was originally submitted on December 8, 2014 and we did not receive it until January 6, 2015.
The Jackson County Office of the Sheriff and Record's Clerk Crystal Gallagher continued to attempt to deter The Tactical Patriot team from obtaining this public information. However, Tactical Patriot would not be deterred.

Jason Leopold is an American investigative reporter. Leopold is known for his work at Truthout as a senior editor and reporter, a position he left after three years on February 19, 2008, to co-found the web-based political magazine The Public Record, Leopold's profile page on The Public Record now says he is Editor-at-Large. Leopold returned to Truthout as Deputy Managing Editor in October 2009 and was made lead investigative reporter in 2012. Leopold has written stories on BP, Enron, the California Energy Crisis, the Bush administration's torture polices, and the Plame affair. His pieces have been published in Asia Times,The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, CBS MarketWatch,The Nation, and Utne.com. Leopold has also written about foreign and domestic policy online for publications such as Alternet, CounterPunch, Common Dreams, Dissident Voice, The Huffington Post, Political Affairs Magazine, The Raw Story, Scoop, ZNet.
Leopold began his career in 1992, writing obituaries for The Reporter Dispatch newspaper in White Plains, New York.[citation needed] He became the crime and courts reporter for the Whittier Daily News in 1997 and then moved to the City News Service where he covered court trials. Leopold has also worked as a city editor and reporter for The Los Angeles Times. He then worked for Dow Jones Newswires as its Los Angeles bureau chief. Wolfgang Halbig, former teacher, law enforcement, and current national school safety assessment & emergency management consultant, appeared in Hartford CT for PART 3 of the FOIA hearings, the purpose of which is to acquire public access to the police Dash Cam Videos of December 14, 2012. Docket # FIC 2015-786: Wolfgang Halbig v. Commissioner, State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection; and State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection. Halbig maintains that the so-called Sandy Hook CT shootings were a staged cooperative government - community "Capstone" exercise planned years before December 2012, for the purpose of banning commonly-used firearms and limiting free speech. Halbig asserts the incident was a financial bonanza for the Newtown community and involved parents, all involved parents moving into the CT community only between 2009-2011, and all receiving over $200K each for their involvement in the exercise. Halbig's questions to Newtown are returned with silence and contempt; threat of arrest. Halbig's questions to Newtown are returned with silence and contempt; threat of arrest.
Many details don't add up... record shows no report of actual shots fired; no social security numbers for the dead students; 16 state troopers pre-positioned 45-60 minutes before the alleged shootings; tax accessor's website shows the families got free houses on Christmas day when all government offices are closed; half-a-dozen charities set up for alleged victims days before the shootings; no one sued the school or the estate of Nancy Lanza; no parent wanted to see their children in the school; closed casket funerals; no EMT's allowed in the school; the shooter was a 112-pound weakling with a debilitating condition but shoots like Rambo....with 95% percent kill rate; crisis actors; and much more.

The Freedom of Information Act Request was originally submitted on December 8, 2014 and we did not receive it until January 6, 2015.
The Jackson County Office of the Sheriff and Record's Clerk Crystal Gallagher continued to attempt to deter The Tactical Patriot team from obtaining this public information. However, Tactical Patriot would not be deterred.

The Freedom of Information Act Request was originally submitted on December 8, 2014 and we did not receive it until January 6, 2015.
The Jackson County Office of the Sheriff and Record's Clerk Crystal Gallagher continued to attempt to deter The Tactical Patriot team from obtaining this public information. However, Tactical Patriot would not be deterred.
