NY Ink is an American reality-television series first aired on the cable-television channel TLC. It follows the events of famed tattoo artist Ami James and his brand new shop, the Wooster St. Social Club tattoo studio in New York City, New York. The series premiered on June 2, 2011 with new episodes airing every Thursday at 10PM ET; the show's freshman season averaged 1.3 million viewers. Its second season premiered December 29, 2011 on the same day and time.
After Miami Ink (2004–2008) ended, Ami moved to New York City in 2011 to fulfill his dream of opening a "legal tattoo shop" which he names the Wooster St. Social Club. James is joined again by producers David Roma and Charlie Corwin to detail the proceedings in the shop on NY Ink.

Beth Shak is an American professional poker player. She has been playing professionally since 2004. She's appeared in the World Series of Poker, Playboy's Poker Tournament, "Aces & Angels" at the Playboy Mansion, YRB Magazine's "Rock It" fashion spread, Good Morning America, AOL.com's You've Got, The Today Show and MTV Cribs. She is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and shoe expert. Shak ran a private vintage designer clothing business for 10 years.

Shak initially learned to play poker by logging on to Full Tilt Poker and using “play money” until she felt comfortable enough to start playing with real money. When she started playing live, she found it to be “very different” and had to learn not to let men intimidate her. She has said she wants to be known as a good player, not "a good player...for a woman."
Corey Todd Taylor (born December 8, 1973) sometimes known by the number 8, is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of Slipknot and Stone Sour.
Corey Taylor is a founding member of Stone Sour, and has released three studio albums with that band. Taylor joined Slipknot in 1997 to replace their original singer Anders Colsefni. He has released four studio albums with them. Taylor constantly alternates between bands, since 2001, after the release of Iowa, where he reformed Stone Sour immediately after touring. He has worked with several bands, including Junk Beer Kidnap Band, Apocalyptica, Anthrax, Aaron Lewis of Staind, and Soulfly. Taylor writes and sings in styles that vary by genre. Taylor was ranked number 86 in Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time.
Corey Taylor was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 8, 1973, the first of three children. He lived in Orlando briefly with his uncle, George Robson though Taylor was mostly raised by his mother in Waterloo, Iowa, a place described by Taylor as a "hole in the ground with buildings around it." He is of Belgian, Polish and Danish background from his father's side.

Clifford Smith (born April 1, 1971), better known by his stage name Method Man, is an American hip hop artist, record producer, actor and member of the hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. He took his stage name from the 1979 film The Fearless Young Boxer, also known as Method Man. He is one half of the rap duo Method Man & Redman. He won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By" with Mary J. Blige.
