Fuerteventura, Jandia. Playa del Matorral. Wunderschöner Strand und ein herrlicher Atlantik im Süden von Fuerteventura. 20 Grad Wassertemperatur bei ca. 26 Grad im Schatten im Mai.

Einer der schönsten Strände der Welt. Jandia im Süden auf Fuerteventura. Ungefähr 100 km von der afrikanischen Küste (Südmarokko/Westafrika) entfernt mitten im Atlantik. Glasklares, türkisfarbenes Wasser des Atlantiks. Kilometerweiter, sauberer und feiner Sandstrand. Das Wasser erinnert an die Karibik. Im Süden von Fuerteventura wie hier in Jandia, ist es nicht so windig wie im Norden bei Corallejo. Dort sind mehr Surfer zu finden. Durch die flachen Berge auf Fuerteventura sind weniger Wolken als auf Gran Canaria am Himmel. Und durch die dichtere Lage an Afrika ist es immer ein bisschen sonniger sowie ein Tick wärmer wie auf Gran Canaria. Bei Jandia sind auch öfters Delfine vom Strand aus zu sehen.
Den Strand in Richtung Morro Jable gehen. Dort kann man auch toll und direkt am Strand in einem der Cafe's etwas trinken und lecker essen.
Im Hafenbecken von Puerto Morro Jable hatten wir das Glück einen riesen Stachelrochen (stringray) (so ca. 3m) umgeben von Fischschwärmen bewundern zu können. Im Hafen sollen sich einige Stachelrochen und auch kleine Engelshai (angel sharks) tümmeln, ideal für Taucher.
Una de las playas más bellas del mundo. Jandia en el sur de Fuerteventura. 100 km de la costa de África (Marruecos) a partir de la mitad del Atlántico. Cristalinas, aguas turquesa del Atlántico. Km, limpio, blanco y de la playa de arena fina. El agua es una reminiscencia del Caribe. Como aquí en el sur de Fuerteventura, en Jandía, que no es tan ventoso como el norte de Corallejo. Hay más personas que practica surf de encontrar. Por las montañas de poca profundidad en Fuerteventura hay menos nubes en el cielo que en Gran Canaria. Y por la capa más densa de África, se está haciendo un poco nublado y un poco más caliente que en Gran Canaria. En Jandia también a menudo pequeños delfines (Dolfin) se puede ver.
El paseo por la playa en dirección Morro Jable. También puede ser grande y beber en la playa en uno de los cafés y deliciosos platos.
En el puerto de Morro Jable Puerto tuvimos la suerte de poder admirar una manta rayas gigantes (Stringray) rodeadas de bancos de peces. En el puerto de manta rayas y tiburones de varias pequeñas (tiburones) tümmeln, ideal para los buceadores.

Jandía
Jandía is a peninsula in the southwestern part of the island of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. The peninsula is entirely in the municipality of Pájara. Within the peninsula is Fuerteventura's tallest mountain, Pico de Jandía or Pico de la Zarza, that rises to an elevation of 807 m. Jandía is connected with the rest of Fuerteventura through the isthmus Istmo de la Pared. Most of the peninsula has been a nature reserve (Parque Natural de Jandía) since 1987.
On the south and east coasts of Jandía there are the beach reasorts Jandía Playa and Morro Jable. The western coast has some of the most beautiful and sandiest beaches in Fuerteventura and these are also used by surfers. The small fishing village of Cofete and the Villa Winter are situated on the north side of the peninsula.

Pájara
Pájara is a town and a municipality in the southwestern portion of the island of Fuerteventura in the Province of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands. Its population is 20,931 (2013), and the area is 383.52 km². Pájara is both the southernmost and the westernmost municipality on the island. Pájara is also the largest municipality on the island. The largest towns in the municipality of Pájara are Morro Jable and Costa Calma, both situated on the coast. The small port Ajuy is situated in the north of the municipality, near Betancuria. The Jandía peninsula is part of the municipality.
The church of Nuestra Señora de Regla in Pájara town has interesting sculptures of sun pattern, snakes, panther and birds above the main entrance. It is thought by some specialists to show Aztec influence.

Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura (pronounced: [fweɾteβenˈtuɾa]; loosely translated as "Strong Winds" or a corruption of the French term for "Great Adventure") is one of the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa, politically part of Spain. At 1,660 square kilometres (641 sq mi), it is the second largest of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife. It was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in May 2009. Its capital is Puerto del Rosario.
History
Precolonial history
The first settlers are believed to have arrived here from North Africa - the word Mahorero (Majorero) or Maho is still used today to describe the people of Fuerteventura and comes from the ancient word 'mahos' meaning a type of goatskin shoe worn by the original inhabitants. They lived in caves and semi-subterranean dwellings, a few of which have been discovered and excavated revealing relics of early tools and pottery. In antiquity, the island was known as Planaria, among other names, in reference to the flatness of most of its landscape.

Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria (Spanish pronunciation: [ɡɾaŋ kaˈna.ɾja]; originally meaning "Great [Island] of Dogs") is the second most populous island of the Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago, with a population of 838,397 which constitutes approximately 40% of the population of the archipelago. Located in the Atlantic Ocean about 150 kilometres (93 mi) off the northwestern coast of Africa and about 1,350 km (840 mi) from Europe.
Gran Canaria was populated by the Canarii, who may have arrived as early as 500 BC. The Canarii called the island Tamarán or Land of the Brave. After over a century of European (French, Portuguese...) incursions and attempts at conquest, the island was conquered on April 29, 1483, after a campaign that lasted five years, by the Crown of Castile, with the support of Queen Isabella I, a conquest which turned out to be an important step towards the expansion of the unified Spain.
The capital city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was founded on June 24, 1478, under the name "Real de Las Palmas", by Juan Rejón, head of the invading Castilian army. In 1492, Christopher Columbus anchored in the Port of Las Palmas (and spent some time on the island) on his first trip to the Americas. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is, jointly with Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the autonomous community of the Canary Islands.

Fuerteventura, Jandia. Playa del Matorral. Wunderschöner Strand und ein herrlicher Atlantik im Süden von Fuerteventura. 20 Grad Wassertemperatur bei ca. 26 Grad im Schatten im Mai.
Aufgenommen mit einem Sony Xperia Z1 Smartphone @1080p Full HD - Mai 2014
Einer der schönsten Strände der Welt. Jandia im Süden auf Fuerteventura. Ungefähr 100 km von der afrikanischen Küste (Südmarokko/Westafrika) entfernt mitten im Atlantik. Glasklares, türkisfarbenes Wasser des Atlantiks. Kilometerweiter, sauberer und feiner Sandstrand. Das Wasser erinnert an die Karibik. Im Süden von Fuerteventura wie hier in Jandia, ist es nicht so windig wie im Norden bei Corallejo. Dort sind mehr Surfer zu finden. Durch die flachen Berge auf Fuerteventura sind weniger Wolken als auf Gran Canaria am Himmel. Und durch die dichtere Lage an Afrika ist es immer ein bisschen sonniger sowie ein Tick wärmer wie auf Gran Canaria. Bei Jandia sind auch öfters Delfine vom Strand aus zu sehen.
Den Strand in Richtung Morro Jable gehen. Dort kann man auch toll und direkt am Strand in einem der Cafe's etwas trinken und lecker essen.
Im Hafenbecken von Puerto Morro Jable hatten wir das Glück einen riesen Stachelrochen (stringray) (so ca. 3m) umgeben von Fischschwärmen bewundern zu können. Im Hafen sollen sich einige Stachelrochen und auch kleine Engelshai (angel sharks) tümmeln, ideal für Taucher.

Y por la capa más densa de África, se está haciendo un poco nublado y un poco más caliente que en Gran Canaria. En Jandia también a menudo pequeños delfines (Dolfin) se puede ver.
El paseo por la playa en dirección Morro Jable. También puede ser grande y beber en la playa en uno de los cafés y deliciosos platos.
En el puerto de Morro Jable Puerto tuvimos la suerte de poder admirar una manta rayas gigantes (Stringray) rodeadas de bancos de peces. En el puerto de manta rayas y tiburones de varias pequeñas (tiburones) tümmeln, ideal para los buceadores.

This summer we had the chance with my girlfriend to go to the most deserted of the canary Islands : Fuerteventura. We visited a lot of places like El Cotillo, La Pared, Majanicho, Cofete, Jandia, etc... We Also did a 1 day trip in Lanzarote. Camera used : Canon 70d and GoPro HERO 4 Black Lens : Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 I also used a Tarion Stabilizer, Tarion Slider and a Hoya filter. Edit made on Sony Vegas Pro 12 Music : Radical Face - The Gilded Hand
