Kenneth Eric Church (born May 3, 1977), known professionally as Eric Church, is an American musician, singer and songwriter. Signed to Capitol Nashville since 2005, he has since released a total of five studio albums for that label. His debut album, 2006's Sinners Like Me, produced four singles on the Billboard country charts including the top 20 hits "How 'Bout You", "Two Pink Lines", and "Guys Like Me".
His second album, 2009's Carolina, produced three more singles: "Smoke a Little Smoke" and his first top 10 hits, "Love Your Love the Most" and "Hell on the Heart". 2011's Chief, his first No. 1 album, gave him his first two No. 1 singles, "Drink in My Hand" and "Springsteen", and the hits "Homeboy", "Creepin'", and "Like Jesus Does". His third No. 1 single was "The Only Way I Know", which he, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan recorded for Aldean's album Night Train. A fourth album, The Outsiders, was released in February 2014. It produced five new singles between 2013–15 with the title track, "Give Me Back My Hometown", "Cold One", "Talladega" and "Like a Wrecking Ball". "Talladega" and "Give Me Back My Hometown" each reached number one on the Country Airplay chart. Eric Church got his sixth No. 1 hit with Keith Urban in May 2015 with the single "Raise 'Em Up". He released his fifth studio album, Mr. Misunderstood, on November 3, 2015.
"My Hometown" is a single by Bruce Springsteen off his Born in the U.S.A. album, that was the record-tying seventh and last top 10 single to come from it, peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It also topped the U.S. adult contemporary chart, making the song Springsteen's only #1 song on this chart to date. The song is a synthesizer-based, low-tempo number that features Springsteen on vocals.
The song’s lyrics begin with the speaker’s memories of his father instilling pride in the family’s hometown. While it first appears that the song will be a nostalgic look at the speaker’s childhood, the song then goes on to describe the racial violence and economic depression that the speaker witnessed as an adolescent and middle-aged man. The song concludes with the speaker’s reluctant proclamation that he plans to move his family out of the town, but not without first taking HIS son on a drive and expressing the same community pride that was instilled in him by his father.
The following is an episode list for the Canadian drama Instant Star. The series premiered on September 15, 2004 and ended on June 26, 2008.

My Home Village (Chosŏn'gŭl: 내 고향; 1949), directed by Kang Hong-sik, is a film in the War film genre, the first film to be made in the newly independent Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea). The film portrays the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule in 1945.
Kim Il-Sung, the leader of the Korean Communist Party during the fight to liberate Korea from Japanese colonialism, was determined that cinema should play a central role in "ideological guidance" of his newly liberated country and eagerly accepted Soviet funding and technicians to set up the National Film Production Center. Their first production was My Home Village.
The film opens with a shot of Mount Paektu, the snow-capped volcano which is the holy mountain considered to be the origin of the Korean race, giving emotional basis for Kim's anti-Japanese guerrilla group. In fact, however, a scale-model of the mountain was used. The story concerns Gwan Pil, a poor farmer who is deprived of his land by an evil landlord and put in a Japanese prison. There he meets an agent of Kim, Il-Sung's Korean People's Revolutionary Army. The two stage a riot and break out of prison to join the guerrillas. The guerrillas blow up a Japanese train which crashes through a railway bridge. Kim's army liberates Gwan Pil's home village, and he leads the fight to create a new society there. In the presentation of the liberation of Korea in 1945, there was no mention of American defeat of Japan or of the Soviet invasion but showed the liberation of Korea as the work of Kim Il Sung's guerrilla fighters working on their own.

Well, I had a buddy back in '81 and we made ourselves a pact
We were heading for the new pipeline we were never coming back
Well we worked 80 hours making time and a half
But La Grange was too damn hot
We drove back home at the end of that week and we spent it all on pot
So I'll see you in Houston If I ever get out that way
I'll see you in Dallas but I won't have long to stay
If you're ever out west son and your feeling like slowing down
I'll see you around, around my hometown
Well, I played ball every single fall I could run just like the wind
Went to college like they asked me too but they didn't ask my friends
Don't think I seen a single classroom but I drank a lot of beer
My buddies still love to listen to me when I talk about that year
So I'll see you in Houston If I ever get out that way
I'll see you in Dallas but I won't have long to stay
If you're ever out west son and your feeling like slowing down
I'll see you around, around my hometown
Now I got myself a little band and we're pretty good I guess
But I never learned how to wear my hair and I never learned how to dress
So I'm leaving for the last time honey I'm never more to roam
Gonna pack my bags a little heavy
This time gonna head my ass back home
So I'll see you in Nashville if I ever get out that way
I'll see you in Austin but I won't have long to stay
If you're ever out west son and your feeling like slowing down
I'll see you around, around my hometown
