https://hologramelectronics.com/ Welcome to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport.com. Next, we're experiencing the Dream Sequence, from Hologram Electronics. The Dream Sequence is a multi-faceted audio workstation, encompassing octaves, sampling, arpeggiating and sequencing. At its core, the Dream Sequence puts players in the cockpit of an extremely powerful polyphonic octave generator that tracks complex chords cleanly. Users can then select one of several sequencing series of upper octaves, lower octaves and root notes or make their own, and program them to their hearts’ content. The series of footswitches and rotary switches envelop the users in some wild octave sequencing patterns with some tremolo and envelope shaping thrown in for good measure. Once loading any of the 24-onboard patterns or 11 user patterns, players have full control over the waveform modulation, as well as its tempo, wet-dry mix and an all-analog overdrive circuit at the end of the signal path. Using the Hold footswitch, players can sample the arpeggio and hold it indefinitely while playing on top of it. Players can even record knob movements by turning the knob while holding the Tap switch, which are then globally controlled by the tempo—either via tap tempo with several subdivisions or a dedicated knob. An expression jack allows for hands-free control of any knob of the unit singularly or simultaneously, and full MIDI implementation gives players deep external editing. Each Dream Sequence is dreamed up and built by hand in Tennessee, USA.

It has become reality. I wanted to do a 3-hour set for a long time, but until now I couldn't find around 30 tracks, that would really work together seamlessly. It seems like 2016 had to come around the corner, because I finally found tracks that float in the same style and add up to a special experience. I can only give you the advise to experience this set in one session, as it was made for exactly that. It's is perfect for a rainy day, a long drive/ flight or a long day dream. Really happy how this all turned out. This set contains 30 dreamy, melancholic & special tracks from the likes of Âme, Ashworth, Audio Junkies, Baikal, Bedouin, Budakid, Compuphonic, Innellea, ...the list goes on and on. Hope you have a special time with these 170-minutes of really great music. I really enjoyed making this set, as I was really eager to do it.

Dream sequence
A dream sequence is a technique used in storytelling, particularly in television and film, to set apart a brief interlude from the main story. The interlude may consist of a flashback, a flashforward, a fantasy, a vision, a dream, or some other element.
Purposes
Commonly, dream sequences appear in many films to shed light on the psychical process of the dreaming character or give the audience a glimpse into the character's past. For instance in Pee-wee's Big Adventure, the purpose of Pee-wee's dreams is to inform the audience of his anxieties and fears after losing his bike . Other times major action takes place in dreams, allowing the filmmaker to explore infinite possibilities, as Michel Gondry demonstrates in The Science of Sleep. Harvard psychologist Deirdre Barrett points out in the book The Committee of Sleep that, while the main content of dream sequences is determined by the film's overall plot, visual details often reflect the individual dream experience of the screenwriter or director. For Hitchcock's Spellbound, Salvador Dalí designed sharply angled sets inspired by his own dream space. Ingmar Bergman lit dream sequences in several films with a harsh glare of light which he says reflects his own nightmares (though most people's have dim light), and Orson Welles designed a scene of the trial to reflect the manner in which architecture constantly changed in his dreams.

Dream
Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur usually involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not definitively understood, though they have been a topic of scientific speculation, as well as a subject of philosophical and religious interest, throughout recorded history. The scientific study of dreams is called oneirology.
Dreams mainly occur in the rapid-eye movement (REM) stage of sleep—when brain activity is high and resembles that of being awake. REM sleep is revealed by continuous movements of the eyes during sleep. At times, dreams may occur during other stages of sleep. However, these dreams tend to be much less vivid or memorable.
The length of a dream can vary; they may last for a few seconds, or approximately 20–30 minutes. People are more likely to remember the dream if they are awakened during the REM phase. The average person has three to five dreams per night, and some may have up to seven; however, most dreams are immediately or quickly forgotten. Dreams tend to last longer as the night progresses. During a full eight-hour night sleep, most dreams occur in the typical two hours of REM.

Plot: Swinging London. Tom is desperate for a little excitement. He's sure the new secretary at the office fancies him. Reality never stands in the way of fantasy for Tom. His girl wants to settle down; his mum won't let him watch telly in peace. After all, he wasn't "brought up a navvy". He keeps clippings of fashion models hidden in a drawer, daydreaming that one is in his bedroom clad only in a negligée. He imagines his barber is a blonde, and that the girl at the grocer's lures him to the back with the cartons. He chats up a nice bit on the bus; she moves to another seat... Tom takes the Tube to Piccadilly. He buys himself a Carnaby St. cap to go with his mod check jacket. But the clerk in the men's shop criticizes Tom's sartorial sense. Tom pictures three birds fawning over him as he tries on a suit, the same way they go wild when he sings lead with the band playing at the discothèque. Or so he could do, if he wanted... Tom meets a posh girl in a saloon bar. Perhaps she'll like one of those "sophisticated" Swedish films...

The Dream Sequence is a multi-faceted audio workstation, encompassing octaves, sampling, arpeggiating and sequencing. Once loading any of the 24-onboard patterns or 11 user patterns, players have full control over the waveform modulation, as well as its tempo, wet-dry mix and an all-analog overdrive circuit at the end of the signal path. Using the Hold footswitch, players can sample the arpeggio and hold it indefinitely while playing on top of it. Players can even record knob movements by turning the knob while holding the Tap switch, which are then globally controlled by the tempo—either via tap tempo with several subdivisions or a dedicated knob. An expression jack allows for hands-free control of any knob of the unit singularly or simultaneously, and full MIDI implementation gives players deep external editing. Each Dream Sequence is dreamed up and built by hand in Tennessee, USA.

It has become reality. I wanted to do a 3-hour set for a long time, but until now I couldn't find around 30 tracks, that would really work together seamlessly. It seems like 2016 had to come around the corner, because I finally found tracks that float in the same style and add up to a special experience. I can only give you the advise to experience this set in one session, as it was made for exactly that. It's is perfect for a rainy day, a long drive/ flight or a long day dream. Really happy how this all turned out. This set contains 30 dreamy, melancholic & special tracks from the likes of Âme, Ashworth, Audio Junkies, Baikal, Bedouin, Budakid, Compuphonic, Innellea, ...the list goes on and on. Hope you have a special time with these 170-minutes of really great music. I really enjoyed making this set, as I was really eager to do it.

It has become reality. I wanted to do a 3-hour set for a long time, but until now I couldn't find around 30 tracks, that would really work together seamlessly. It seems like 2016 had to come around the corner, because I finally found tracks that float in the same style and add up to a special experience. I can only give you the advise to experience this set in one session, as it was made for exactly that. It's is perfect for a rainy day, a long drive/ flight or a long day dream. Really happy how this all turned out. This set contains 30 dreamy, melancholic & special tracks from the likes of Âme, Ashworth, Audio Junkies, Baikal, Bedouin, Budakid, Compuphonic, Innellea, ...the list goes on and on. Players can even record knob movements by turning the knob while holding the Tap switch, which are then globally controlled by the tempo—either via tap tempo with several subdivisions or a dedicated knob. An expression jack allows for hands-free control of any knob of the unit singularly or simultaneously, and full MIDI implementation gives players deep external editing. Each Dream Sequence is dreamed up and built by hand in Tennessee, USA.

It has become reality. I wanted to do a 3-hour set for a long time, but until now I couldn't find around 30 tracks, that would really work together seamlessly. It seems like 2016 had to come around the corner, because I finally found tracks that float in the same style and add up to a special experience. I can only give you the advise to experience this set in one session, as it was made for exactly that. It's is perfect for a rainy day, a long drive/ flight or a long day dream. Really happy how this all turned out. This set contains 30 dreamy, melancholic & special tracks from the likes of Âme, Ashworth, Audio Junkies, Baikal, Bedouin, Budakid, Compuphonic, Innellea, ...the list goes on and on. Hope you have a special time with these 170-minutes of really great music. I really enjoyed making this set, as I was really eager to do it.
