Snorkeling with Whale Sharks in Tanawan Oslob, CebuPH its 3hours away from Cebu to south. This has been a huge highlight of my trip. Swim so close to these friendly, slow mo gentle giants was beyond incredible. My mind were blown watching a giant animals in their natural habitat. Lets protect, love and respect for these gentle creatures. :)

In Oslob on Cebu Island you can swim with whale sharks, the largest known extant fish species. Getting to be less than three feet from such huge creatures was an incredible experience.This is my favorite travel vlog I have made yet, so I hope you enjoy! Oslob is a fourth income class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 26,116.In the 2013 election, it had 18,283 registered voters.
Geography
Topography
Generally, topography of the area is hilly and rolling, dominated by open grasslands and second growth forest. There are fairly level and rolling plateaus and valleys spread throughout the interior. These are some of the most suitable areas for upland agriculture. The highest mountain peak is 800 metres (2,600 ft) above sea level.
Climate
The municipality of Oslob belongs to Coronas climate type III with a dry season from February to September and the wet season from October.

We went to Oslob for whale shark encounter, Sumilon island for their white sand beach, Jump 30-50 ft at our Canyoneering in Alegria, Snorkle Pescador Island, had an encounter with the sea turles and sardines, and had a waterfalls massage at Kawasan Falls. Oslob Cebu is one of the best and most consistent places to swim with Whale Sharks. Since the fishermen of Oslob feed the whale sharks daily, they come back every day. If you pay for the snorkeling you are almost guaranteed to see whale sharks! On the day that we went on the snorkeling tour there were nine whale sharks! We got to encounter four of these gentle giants while we were in the water! The biggest draw back to the entire whale shark experience is the crowds of people. Since summer is already here, i wanted to share with you our South Cebu Adventure. We went to Oslob for whale shark encounter, Sumilon island for their white sand beach, Jump 30-50 ft at our Canyoneering in Alegria, Snorkle Pescador Island, had an encounter with the sea turles and sardines, and had a waterfalls massage at Kawasan Falls.
Itinerary:
Day 1
earliest cebu pacific flight is 3:15 am
met with our van driver going to badian ( kuya raymund's place)
travel to badian and leave our things
travel to oslob
9am - registration at oslob whale shark encounter
10am - start the encounter
10:30 - go to sumilon and do snorkeling and beach bumming
11:30 - went back to main oslob
12:00 - lunch
12:30 - go to tumalog falls
1:00 - go to alegria for canyoneering
3:00 - start canyoneering
6:00 - dinner by the falls ( super yummy)
7:00 - end canyoneering (we had 4 hours of canyoneering because I'm always afraid to jump on every area and i'm so slow, i would suggest to be there around 1 or 2 to enjoy kawasan falls at the end of your canyoneering)
8:00 - back at dolor's homestay
9:00 - ligths out
Day 2
4:00 - preparing for our trip
5:00 - breakfast at dolor's (70-80 pesos)
5:30 - go to moalboal
6:00 - start the pescador island hopping (if you're lucky you will see dolphins on your way,snorkel at pescador island, encounter with sea turles, encounter with sardines)
*we're supposed to hike osmena peak but since my butt hurts so much from the jumps yesterday, we we're not able to do this
10:00 head to kawasan falls and have a lunch there
11:00 enjoy kawasan falls
1:00 leave badian and go to cebu city
4:00 arrived at cebu city

If you are visiting the island of Cebu, swimming with the whale sharks in Oslob is a MUST-DO experience. Oslob Cebu is one of the best and most consistent places to swim with Whale Sharks. Since the fishermen of Oslob feed the whale sharks daily, they come back every day. If you pay for the snorkeling you are almost guaranteed to see whale sharks!
On the day that we went on the snorkeling tour there were nine whale sharks! We got to encounter four of these gentle giants while we were in the water!
The biggest draw back to the entire whale shark experience is the crowds of people. Since Oslob has become know as for this tourist attraction, hoards of people flock to the beach every morning to swim with the whale sharks.
