Gyricon is a type of electronic paper developed at the Xerox PARC (Palo Alto Research Center). It has many of the same properties as paper: It's flexible, contains an image, and is viewable from a wide angle, but it can be erased and written thousands of times.

A Gyricon sheet is a thin layer of transparent plastic in which millions of small beads, somewhat like toner particles, are randomly dispersed. The beads, each contained in an oil-filled cavity, are free to rotate within those cavities. The beads are "bichromal," with hemispheres of two contrasting colors (e.g. black and white, red and white), and charged so they exhibit an electrical dipole. When voltage is applied to the surface of the sheet, the beads rotate to present one colored side to the viewer. Voltages can be applied to the surface to create images such as text and pictures. The image will persist until new voltage patterns are applied

As of December, 2005, Xerox closed down the direct subsidiary Gyricon LLC, their Gyricon e-paper display business, and is focusing on licensing the technology. The company have said that the reason for their closure has been their inability to source backplane technology for their Gyricon frontplane at a price of less than $10 per sqft. Being able to achieve a price of under $10 was said to be critical to the success of marketing their e-paper based electronic signage products. Although the company will stop direct manufacture and sale of Gyricon e-paper display products it will, however, still be licensing their frontplane technology to other users.

Dr. Engineer Mustafa Sani Şener (born February 14, 1955) is a Turkish construction magnate. He is co-founder and chief executive officer of TAV Airports Holding and TAV Construction.

Sani Şener was born in Trabzon, Turkey, as the third and last child of prominent Turkish bureaucrat and politician Ahmet Şener (1921–1991) and Feride Şener (née Külür). Sani has one older brother, Sadri Şener and an older sister, Prof. Dr Sezer Şener Komsuoğlu.

After completing his mechanical engineering degree in 1977 at the Black Sea Technical University, he attended graduate school of engineering at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. He received his doctorate degree from the Black Sea Technical University in acknowledgement of his distinguished contribution in the infrastructure development projects of Turkey.

Sani Şener managed and led many development projects ranging from dam construction to housing complexes; from hospitals, universities, airports, highways, trade centers, tunnels to power plants in Turkey and abroad since 1979.

Robert W. O'Donnell is a former Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

O'Donnell was first elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1974. He was the majority leader of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1989–90, and was the speaker from 1990–92. He was elected in January 1990 following the death of James Manderino.

O'Donnell is a graduate of Temple University and earned a juris doctor.

In 1995 he formed O’Donnell Associates, a lobbying and governmental relations firm to represent business and governmental clients before state and local governments in Pennsylvania.

O’Donnell has had a distinguished career in law, government and politics before founding the firm. He was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for twenty years, having served as Speaker of the House, Majority Leader, Whip and Caucus Chairman. He is the author or prime sponsor of a number of significant and complex legislative proposals that have been enacted into law, including the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority Act (PICA) which was the vehicle for the financial recovery of the City of Philadelphia; the Municipal Pension Reform Act, which provided for the financial soundness of public pensions in Pennsylvania and legislation reforming insurance underwriting procedures. Speaker O’Donnell also introduced the first charter schools legislation in the Commonwealth, a version of which was passed later during Governor Tom Ridge's tenure.

Neil Cohen (b. September 12, 1955, Dallas, Texas) is a former U.S. soccer defender. He played eight seasons in the North American Soccer League and six in the Major Indoor Soccer League. He also earned one cap with the U.S. national team in 1976. Cohen grew up in Dallas, Texas, graduating from Bryan Adams High School in 1973. He was the first high school All American soccer player from Texas in 1973.

In 1974, he signed with the Dallas Tornado of the North American Soccer League (NASL). He played five seasons with the Tornado before moving to the Tulsa Roughnecks in 1979. He played only three games before moving to the San Jose Earthquakes. He sat out the 1980 season with injuries, but returned to the Tornado for the 1981 season. The Tornado folded at the end of the season. When the Tornado folded in 1981, Cohen was already established in the Major Indoor Soccer League. In 1979, he signed with the Houston Summit. The team moved to Baltimore following the 1979-1980 season, changing its name to the Baltimore Blast. Cohen played one season in Baltimore before moving to the Denver Avalanche for the 1981-1982 season. When the Avalanche folded, Cohen moved to the St. Louis Steamers for two seasons before signing with the Dallas Sidekicks as a free agent on July 19, 1984. He injured his knee on December 30, 1984 which put him out for the rest of the season. He retired on September 24, 1985. In 1983, Cohen also played for the Dallas Americans of the American Soccer League in 1983 and the United Soccer League in 1984 and 1985.
