Tybee Island, Georgia
Tybee Island is an island and city in Chatham County, Georgia, near the city of Savannah in the southeastern United States. It is the easternmost point in the state of Georgia. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 2,990. The city of Tybee Island is located on the Georgia barrier island of the same name. The entire island is a part of the Savannah Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Officially renamed "Savannah Beach" in a publicity move at the end of the 1950s, the city of Tybee Island has since reverted to its original name. (The name "Savannah Beach" nevertheless appears on official state maps as far back as 1952 and as recently as the mid-1970s.) The small island, which has long been a quiet getaway for the residents of Savannah, has become a popular vacation spot with tourists from outside the Savannah metropolitan area. Tybee Island is home to the first of what would eventually become the Days Inn chain of hotels, the oft-photographed Tybee Island Light Station, and the Fort Screven Historic District.

Little Tybee
Little Tybee is an experimental, progressive folk-rock band based out of Atlanta, GA. Since their beginnings in 2008, the band has released 3 full length albums and conducted several tours. Stylistically, the band fuses together elements from folk, psychedelic rock, indie music, jazz, and other diverse influences. While the whole band contributes ideas to the composition process, vocalist Brock Scott has been described by band mate Josh Martin as "typically [the] primary songwriter."
History
Following the dissolution of a group known as The Brock Scott Quartet, the remaining members reformed under the new name Little Tybee. Their first album, Building A Bomb, was self-released on November 10, 2009. The band then started touring shortly thereafter, experienced a series of lineup changes, and was picked up by Paper Garden Records who released their second album, Humorous To Bees, on April 5, 2011.
Since the release of Humorous To Bees, Little Tybee has played notable events including the Rombello festival cruise (w/ Citizen Cope, Rhett Miller, Slightly Stoopid, among others) after coming in first place in a contest hosted by Paste Magazine,CMJ Music Marathon, SXSW, and Fringe Festival and has shared the stage with artists such as Kishi Bashi, Sondre Lerche, Givers, Man Man, Reptar, Nicole Atkins, The Love Language, and Dent May.

The name Matthew has been used for two tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean.
Matthew is used on the six-year lists in the Atlantic, having replaced Mitch after 1998.

Island
An island /ˈaɪlənd/ or isle /ˈaɪl/ is any piece of sub-continental land that is surrounded by water. Very small islands such as emergent land features on atolls can be called islets, skerries, cays or keys. An island in a river or a lake island may be called an eyot or ait, or a holm. A grouping of geographically or geologically related islands is called an archipelago, e.g. the Philippines.
An island may be described as such despite the presence of an artificial land bridge, for example Singapore and its causeway, or the various Dutch delta islands, such as IJsselmonde. Some places may even retain "island" in their names for historical reasons after being connected to a larger landmass by a wide land bridge, such as Coney Island or Coronado Island. Conversely, when a piece of land is separated from the mainland by a man-made canal, for example the Peloponnese by the Corinth Canal, it is generally not considered an island.
There are two main types of islands: continental islands and oceanic islands. There are also artificial islands.

Forsyth Park
A large city park that occupies 30 acres (0.12 km2). Contains walking paths, a café, a children's play area, a Fragrant Garden for the blind, a large fountain, tennis courts, basketball courts, areas for soccer and Frisbee.
Bonaventure Cemetery
A public cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River. Became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, and in the movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, based on the book.
Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
A Roman Catholic cathedral. The Mother Church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah. Construction began on in 1873 and was completed with the addition of the spires in 1896. The structure was nearly destroyed by fire in 1898 but through diligent effort was rebuilt by 1899.
Summer Waves
A water park that is located on Jekyll Island. Consists of eight major water attractions. All of the rides and attractions are included with park admission.
Fort McAllister Historic Park
A 1,725-acre (698 ha) Georgia state park. Home to the best-preserved earthwork fortification of the Confederacy. Though the earthworks were attacked seven times by Union soldiers, it did not fall until it was taken by General Sherman in 1864 during his famous March to the Sea.
Mercer House
Now called the Mercer-Williams House Museum. Was the scene of the shooting death of Jim Williams' assistant, Danny Hansford, a story that is retold in the 1994 John Berendt novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Telfair Museums
The first public art museum in the Southern United States. Today, the museum encompasses an extensive collection of over 4,500 American and European paintings, sculptures, and works on paper.
Georgia State Railroad Museum
Considered the most complete antebellum railroad complex in the US. Include a partial roundhouse with operating turntable, partial machine shop, Tender Frame Shop, Blacksmith Shop, Boiler House, Storehouse & Print Shop, Lumber and Planning Sheds, Coach and Paint Shops, and a partial Carpentry Shop.
Savannah Historic District

Forsyth Park
A large city park that occupies 30 acres (0.12 km2). Contains walking paths, a café, a children's play area, a Fragrant Garden for the blind, a large fountain, tennis courts, basketball courts, areas for soccer and Frisbee.
Bonaventure Cemetery
A public cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River. Became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, and in the movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, based on the book.
Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
A Roman Catholic cathedral. The Mother Church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah. Construction began on in 1873 and was completed with the addition of the spires in 1896. The structure was nearly destroyed by fire in 1898 but through diligent effort was rebuilt by 1899.
Summer Waves
A water park that is located on Jekyll Island. Consists of eight major water attractions. All of the rides and attractions are included with park admission.
Fort McAllister Historic Park
A 1,725-acre (698 ha) Georgia state park. Home to the best-preserved earthwork fortification of the Confederacy. Though the earthworks were attacked seven times by Union soldiers, it did not fall until it was taken by General Sherman in 1864 during his famous March to the Sea.
Mercer House
Now called the Mercer-Williams House Museum. Was the scene of the shooting death of Jim Williams' assistant, Danny Hansford, a story that is retold in the 1994 John Berendt novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Telfair Museums
The first public art museum in the Southern United States. Today, the museum encompasses an extensive collection of over 4,500 American and European paintings, sculptures, and works on paper.
Georgia State Railroad Museum
Considered the most complete antebellum railroad complex in the US. Include a partial roundhouse with operating turntable, partial machine shop, Tender Frame Shop, Blacksmith Shop, Boiler House, Storehouse & Print Shop, Lumber and Planning Sheds, Coach and Paint Shops, and a partial Carpentry Shop.
