GeneNews (TSX: GEN, Forum) shot up again in the markets today in the wake of the company announcing that it had acquired full control of Innovative Diagnostic Laboratory by entering into a unit purchase agreement with Cobalt Healthcare Consultants for its 50% ownership in Innovative.
According to the
news release published three days ago, GeneNews will assume any and all of Cobalt’s liability regarding Cobalt’s US$1.0 Secured Demand Promissory Note payable to form IDL partner, HDL USA Holdings. No other consideration will be paid.
Shares were up 78.95% on high volume trading to $0.17 per share.
Aureus Mining (TSX: AUE, Forum) fell on the boards today based on no material news. The last release by the company came out five days ago noting that it had reached commercial production at the New Liberty Gold Mine located in Liberia.
According to that
news release, the company declared commercial production as of March 1
st and stated that February production exceeded 9,000 ounces of gold with an operating gold recovery rate of 90% by the end of February.
Shares were down 24.39% to $0.155 per share.
