Worried about your next laid-back TV treat after a hard day's work once Grantchester leaves our screens in a couple of weeks? Fear not, as ITV has another relaxing ace up its sleeve.
The Durrells is a new TV adaptation of the much-loved book My Family and Other Animals by iconic naturalist Gerald Durrell.
Keeley Hawes stars as matriarch Louisa in a new six-part retelling written by Men Behaving Badly's Simon Nye.
Digital Spy has seen the first episode and spoken to the cast, and we're tipping it to become ITV's next big drama hit, following the likes of Downton Abbey and Grantchester.
It may be twee and a bit Darling Buds of May - but sometimes you need a bit of that after being drained by the many doldrum crime dramas that fill our screens all year round.
Launching in early April, it follows the Durrell clan in 1935 as they decide to move from dreary Bournemouth to the sunshine of Corfu.
Louisa hates her kids (in a loving way) - sex-mad Larry (Josh O'Connor), gun-obsessive Leslie (Callum Woodhouse), unruly Margo (Daisy Waterstone) and of course, animal-enthusiast Gerry (Milo Parker).
The series also stars film legend Leslie Caron and popular Greek actors Alexis Georgoulis and Yorgos Karamihos in supporting roles. It's friendly, funny and surprisingly crude in parts.
Keeley told us that she had wanted to star in a production of Gerald Durrell's story for years, and jumped at the chance of joining the project.
"I was working about 10 years ago with somebody who was then going to work on the last time they [adapted] it," she explained. "I was slightly annoyed! But there wasn't anything for me. I was too young or too old.
"So when this came up this time, I was just delighted. Because I am such a big fan, there was a bit of trepidation about reading the scripts, because I love it and wanted it to be as good as it is in my mind. I read them all, laughed, cried, got on the phone and said, 'Book me a ticket!'"
And any fans of the book shouldn't worry about the rest of the casting choices of the Durrell family.
"They're perfect," Keeley added. "As a fan of it, to see them working and see what they've brought to the characters, I'm delighted. It's like they've taken them straight off the page, and now I can't look at them any other way."
The Durrells will launch in April on ITV. Broadcast details will be announced in the coming weeks.
