Erik Anthony Audé (born April 5, 1980) is an American actor, stuntman and professional poker player who was arrested and imprisoned in Pakistan for drug trafficking. Audé maintains that he was duped into carrying opium, and that he believed he was importing leather goods. This story is featured in an episode of National Geographic Channel's Locked Up Abroad, wherein he plays his own role.
Audé was born in Beverly Hills, California. He attended Bethel Christian School in Lancaster, California and played American football there.
In 2002, Audé was persuaded to carry leather samples from Islamabad, Pakistan to the United States by Razmik Minasian (who used the alias Rai Gharizian), an Armenian client at the gymnasium where Audé was employed. Minasian concealed from Audé the fact that the case containing leather skirts and jackets also contained opium. On February 15, 2002, Audé was arrested at Islamabad International Airport after being found, according to Pakistani authorities, with 3.6 kilograms (7.9 pounds) of opium in the process of embarking on his scheduled flight to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Aude (French: [od]; Occitan: [ˈawðe]) is a department in south-central France named after the river Aude. The local council also calls the department "Cathar Country".
Aude is also a frequent feminine French given name in Francophone countries, deriving initially from Aude or Oda, a wife of Bertrand, Duke of Aquitaine, and mother of Saint Hubertus's brother Eudo. Aude was the name of Roland's fiancée in the chansons de geste.
Aude is located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees mountains.
It is part of the current region of Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées. It is surrounded by the departments of Pyrénées-Orientales, Ariège, Haute-Garonne, Tarn, and Hérault, with the Golfe du Lion on the east.
The countryside in this department falls into several natural regions:
Each natural region of the Aude has its own particular landscape. In the east, lagoons or coastal lakes form a barrier between land and sea. These were formed by accumulated sediments brought down by the rivers Aude, Orb and Hérault. There are many such lakes of brackish water. This environment is demanding for flora and fauna, as it suffers from the rigours of sea, sun, dryness and floods. Halophile (i.e., salt-loving) plants grow there and it is also noted for animals such as the pink flamingo and white stilt.
Banged Up Abroad (rebadged as Locked Up Abroad for the National Geographic Channel) is a British documentary/docudrama television series created by Bart Layton that was produced for Five and that premiered in March 2006. Most episodes feature stories of people who have been arrested while travelling abroad, usually for trying to smuggle illegal drugs, although some episodes feature people who were kidnapped or captured while travelling or living in any other country. Some episodes have featured real-life stories that first became well-known when they were the subject of a film: films that have been "re-made" in this way include Midnight Express, Goodfellas, The Devil's Double, Argo, Mr Nice, and, to a lesser extent (with the story of Frank Cullotta), Casino.
Eight series were broadcast, between 2006 and 2013.
The episodes typically contain a mixture of interviews with the real people and actors reconstructing the events. The convicted or captured are shown talking about their experiences, over dramatic reenactments of their respective experiences. The episodes focus on the events leading up to the arrest or time in captivity.
Locked Up may refer to:
The given name Eric, Erik, or Erick is derived from the Old Norse name Eiríkr (or Eríkr in Eastern Scandinavia due to monophthongization). The first element, ei- is derived either from the older Proto-Norse *aina(z) meaning "one" or "alone" or from Proto-Norse *aiwa(z) meaning "ever" or "eternal". The second element -ríkr derives either from *rík(a)z meaning "ruler" or "prince" (cf. Gothic reiks) or from an even older Proto-Germanic *ríkiaz which meant "powerful" and "rich". The name is thus usually taken to mean "one ruler", "autocrat", "eternal ruler" or "ever powerful", "warrior", and "government".
The most common spelling in Scandinavia is Erik. In Norway, another form of the name (which has kept the Old Norse diphthong) Eirik is also commonly used. In Finland, the form Erkki is also used. The modern Icelandic version is Eiríkur, while the modern Faroese version is Eirikur. Éric [eʁik] is used in French, and in Germany Eric, Erik and Erich are used.
Although the name was in use in Anglo-Saxon England, its use was reinforced by Scandinavian settlers arriving before the Norman Invasion. It was an uncommon name in England until the Middle Ages, when it gained popularity, and finally became a common name in the 19th century. This was partly because of the publishing of the novel Eric, or, Little by Little by Frederick William Farrar in 1858.

(Hey baby, you,
I know, I know it's you.
Oh, oh and one day you'll know
How I really feel about you.
Oh, oh, but if you don't know,
Let me tell you this.) Listen!
YOU say, you got me right where you wanna,
So, I'll stay just so I don't make it stop.
'Cause when I LIFT you up, oh yeah
You ain't seen nothing baby
You gonna have it, tell me enough
All night, when I kiss you
You're gon' have to tell ME how you feel.
Hook:
I wanna lay, lay down (oh yeah)
With you.
Will, all night.
Then I let you lay, lay ME down
Cause I wanna let you feel what is like
Baby, when I'll go all night
I'll fucking TOUCH there, I do
I do, so can I LAY you down in my bed?
Before I lay you down I might have you turn eyes
So I can see the things that I might DO.
(Do do do)
Baby, I know you think I'm crazy
But I got something that I don't WANT prove
YOU know exactly why I'm waiting for you.
Only you more then just talk,
WE can do that in the morning,
You don't have to touch yourself
Cause baby I'm just? to it all.
So, just imagine what I'd DO to you,
TONIGHT, don't wanna waiste no time.
Hook (x2):
I wanna lay, lay down (oh yeah)
With you.
Will, all night.
Then I let you lay, lay ME down
Cause I wanna let you feel what is like
Baby, when I'll go all night
I'll fucking TOUCH there, I DO
I do, so can I lay you down in my bed?
Before I lay you down I might have you turn eyes
So I can see the things that I might DO.
(Yeah, oh
I don't even know what to say
I said I'm not afraid
But I don't
