Servants are Heroic Spirits that you, as the Master, command in Battle. Each Servant has a Class, active skills, passive skills, and Noble Phantasm.
Servants are primarily obtained via summoning. 1-3★ Servants can be summoned for 200 Friend Points each, and 3-5★ servants for 4 Saint Quartz each. Some Servants can obtained as special rewards during events.
You can Ascend Servants to increase their maximum level, slightly changing their art and battle sprites. Ascending can also unlock new skills, all of which can be reinforced. Their Noble Phantasms can also be upgraded; combining the same Servant upgrades the NP level, while completing Interludes may upgrade the rank.
Craft Essences can be equipped to your servants to increase their stats and abilities.
Feeding Servants Experience Cards or other Servants grants experience. When enough experience is gained to level up, their ATK and HP increases. Status Up Cards also increase ATK and HP, but these stat gains are independent of levels and have a maximum value of 990 per Servant.
Each Servant has an Attribute that also slightly affects their performance in battle.
Having Servants in your Party when completing a quest will increase their Bond level, which unlocks their biography and the ability to do Interludes if available.
Servants can also be found as enemies in quests.
When starting a quest, you can choose another player's leader Servant to help you in battle.
You can also burn Servants to gain QP and Mana Prisms.
There are currently 95 Servants, of which 18 are limited or unplayable, either because they were only obtainable as event rewards, they have not been added to the general summoning pool yet, or they are only available for limited times.
In the story, some Servants are not part of the Grail War thus don't disappear when the war is over. This mainly applies to characters who exist in that era (Jeanne for Orléans, Nero for Septem and Drake for Okeanos).

Holy Grail
The Holy Grail is a dish, plate, stone, or cup that is part of an important theme of Arthurian literature. According to legend, it has special powers, and is designed to provide happiness, eternal youth and food in infinite abundance.
A grail, wondrous but not explicitly holy, first appears in Perceval le Gallois, an unfinished romance by Chrétien de Troyes. It is a processional salver used to serve at a feast. Chrétien's story attracted many continuators, translators and interpreters in the later 12th and early 13th centuries, including Wolfram von Eschenbach, who perceived the grail as a great precious stone that fell from the sky. The Grail legend became interwoven with legends of the Holy Chalice. The connection with Joseph of Arimathea and with vessels associated with the Last Supper and crucifixion of Jesus dates from Robert de Boron's Joseph d'Arimathie (late 12th century) in which Joseph receives the Grail from an apparition of Jesus and sends it with his followers to Great Britain. Building upon this theme, later writers recounted how Joseph used the Grail to catch Christ's blood while interring him and how he founded a line of guardians to keep it safe in Britain. The legend may combine Christian lore with a Celtic myth of a cauldron endowed with special powers.

Blackguards 2 is a turn-based strategy-RPG and will deliver challenging hexfield battles and a gritty story filled with violence and crime.
Choose your playstyle: no matter if front line combat monster, mage or ranged fighter it's in your hands how you want to develop your character. Every action has consequences, so make your decisions wisely. Death may be just around the corner.
Three years have passed since Count Uria´s plots. The Vanquishers of the Nine Hordes long parted ways but life in Aventuria went on. Cassia, a young woman of noble descent, has only one goal: She wants to claim the Shark Throne, no matter the price; and be it only for one day. Unfortunately, there are two problems that potentially foil her plans. First of all, she spends her days incarcerated in a dungeon and secondly, there is already a man on her throne: Marwan. She is neither fond nor proficient in matters of diplomacy or politics, so she chooses a more... practical approach. She intends to break out of prison and overthrow Marwan to claim the throne herself. For this, she needs strong allies. She needs to recruit an army of Sellswords and rally the Vanquishers of the Nine Hordes around her. Sounds like a solid plan, doesn't it? But then again, how cunning must one be to escape the dungeon's walls; and how reckless must one be to gather and command the worst scum of the realms?
Recruit mercenaries, find upgrades and build an indomitable army
Find the Vanquishers of the Nine Hordes and see what has become of Takate, Naurim and Zurbaran
A story with many twists and turns, fateful decisions and more than 20 challenging hours of playtime awaits you
Command up to 20 characters in your party and lead them to death or glory
Master and finish the game on many different non-linear paths
Make decisions influencing your squad and the ending of the game
Choose your spells, talents and skills wisely, since they dictate your strategy on the battlefield. Give priority to offensive or tactic in challenging battles
Interact with your environment and let walls collapse or even discover new routes on your journey through Aventuria
