OPS 5113, also known as Navstar 3, GPS I-3 and GPS SVN-3, was an American navigation satellite launched in 1978 as part of the Global Positioning System development programme. It was the third of eleven Block I GPS satellites to be launched.
OPS 5113 was launched at 00:28 UTC on 7 October 1978, atop an Atlas E/F carrier rocket with an SGS-1 upper stage. The Atlas used had the serial number 47F, and was originally built as an Atlas F. The launch took place from Space Launch Complex 3E at Vandenberg Air Force Base, and placed OPS 5113 into a transfer orbit. The satellite raised itself into medium Earth orbit using a Star-27 apogee motor.
By 8 November 1978, OPS 5113 was in an orbit with a perigee of 20,181 kilometres (12,540 mi), an apogee of 20,186 kilometres (12,543 mi), a period of 718.02 minutes, and 62.8 degrees of inclination to the equator. The satellite had a design life of 5 years and a mass of 758 kilograms (1,671 lb). It broadcast the PRN 06 signal in the GPS demonstration constellation, and was retired from service on 18 May 1992.
Back is the name of a studio album by country music singer Lynn Anderson, released in 1983.
This album was Anderson's first in three years. She had since been in brief retirement to start a family with her second (and now ex-husband), Harold "Spook Stream", and raise her other children. Thus, Anderson left her old record company (Columbia) in 1980. In 1983, Anderson decided to record again and release a comeback album, as the title "Back" implied. The album brought Anderson back into the country market, along with a few more hits under her belt.
Three singles were released from this album, all in 1983. The first, "You Can't Lose What You Never Had", just missed the Country Top 40 at No. 42. The next single, "What I've Learned From Loving You", peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard country charts. The third and final single, "You're Welcome to Tonight", was a duet with 1980s country star Gary Morris and the album's most successful single. The single reached the Top 10 on the Billboard country charts in early 1984, peaking at No. 9. The album reached No. 61 on the "Top Country Albums" chart in 1983.
B.A.C.K. is the fourth studio album by the Danish thrash metal band Artillery. It was released in 1999 on Die Hard music, and their first full-length studio album since By Inheritance, which came out nine years earlier. After the release of this album, Artillery would break up again, but eventually reformed for a second time in 2007.
Note: The tracks "Fly" and "Jester" were originally bonus tracks for the Japanese version of the album. They are now also available on the version of B.A.C.K. found in the band's 4-CD box set, Through the Years, released in 2007, and in Germany on a 2010 re-release via Cyclone Temple.
AP1 or AP-1 can refer to:
A refrigerant is a substance or mixture, usually a fluid, used in a heat pump and refrigeration cycle. In most cycles it undergoes phase transitions from a liquid to a gas and back again. Many working fluids have been used for such purposes. Fluorocarbons, especially chlorofluorocarbons, became commonplace in the 20th century, but they are being phased out because of their ozone depletion effects. Other common refrigerants used in various applications are ammonia, sulfur dioxide, and non-halogenated hydrocarbons such as propane.
The ideal refrigerant would have favorable thermodynamic properties, be noncorrosive to mechanical components, and be safe, including free from toxicity and flammability. It would not cause ozone depletion or climate change. Since different fluids have the desired traits in different degree, choice is a matter of trade-off.
The desired thermodynamic properties are a boiling point somewhat below the target temperature, a high heat of vaporization, a moderate density in liquid form, a relatively high density in gaseous form, and a high critical temperature. Since boiling point and gas density are affected by pressure, refrigerants may be made more suitable for a particular application by choice of operating pressures.
R68A is a B Division New York City Subway car order consisting of 200 cars built by Kawasaki Rail Car Company. These cars were built in Kobe, Japan from 1988 to 1989. The cars replaced all of the remaining R10s, R27s, and unrebuilt R30s, that were retired between 1989 and 1991. The R68As were built with many American parts and had their final assembly at Kawasaki's plant in Yonkers, New York.
The R68 was the fourth R-type contract and probably the last to be built with 75-foot (22.86 m) cars (the previous three being the R44, R46 and R68), which have more room for sitting and standing passengers per car than the 60-foot (18.29 m) cars that were used previously and afterward. Because of the fact that 75-foot (22.86 m) cars take longer to load and unload due to less doors for the entire train, increasing the dwell times at stations, and other clearance issues, and they cannot run on the entire "B" division, specifically the BMT Eastern Division, along with the issue with locked-end doors, subway car orders made afterward, (R143, R160A/B, R179, and eventually R211) have returned to the former IND style of 60-foot (18.29 m) cars which can run safely on the entire "B" division.
