Here's something new I hope you'll like! I finally started a DeviantArt account and I wasn't going to upload anything about it until I had more than a few pieces on the site, buuuuuut... I just watched the final episode of Avatar and I wanted to mark the occasion XD And since Avatar has so few songs I couldn't really cover anything else so I thought I'd draw Appa the Sky Bison to declare my love for this series! ^_^ Oh, my gosh... this is absolutely my new favorite show! I may be a latecomer to it, but I think I'm at exactly the point in my life when I need it most of all, and for that I'm thankful. After watching the ending this morning, wow, I just... I can't even begin. XD There were laughs and tears and moments of me acting like a lunatic talking to the TV, and we all know the viewing experience doesn't get much more exciting than that! :3 XD I loved it soooooo very much and I can't wait to re-watch it over and over and over as many times as I want ^_^ I also can't wait to start watching Legend of Korra, just waiting for the DVD's to come in at the library and then IT'S ALL MINE! XD ♥ ♥ Appa is so cute! I really want one ^_^ I did this pretty much from memory, I did have a sketch for which I used some reference from the show, but the majority of the final drawing is improvised. I feel most comfortable working from memory anyway, it's how I've typically drawn since I was little. :) This is sort of my usual "illustration" style, which I like to use both digitally and traditionally, though this one was generated 100% digitally ;) I hope you all enjoy watching me draw this thing and if you feel adventurous feel free to visit my new DeviantArt profile!
