It's Flixter with the little popcorn icon. Open the application, when it does right off right away home, you can see you scroll down, you can log in your Netflix and manage your Netflix account. You can also do this with a Netflix application which I'll be talking about at another time. But it's just a nice touch with the application. So let's just click up top and go to Box Office, it shows you what's currently out in the box office. And we're just going to keep this easy. We're going to click on Wallace, you can see it's getting a 65% by the critics, and an 83% by the users which is pretty good. Another good thing about Flixter is it's in conjunction with the Rotten Tomatoes which is basically the number one movie review site on the web. From here you can either play the trailer which I'm not going to do right now. Get Show times, and then look up to more movie information. It's got the rating, the genre, the running time, and then it's got the director and kind of some IMDB kind of type of information; who's in the cast, etc. critic reviews, and user base reviews as well. One other really cool thing about, and probably the best part about Flixter is it shows you what movie is showing at what theatre, when. So I'm going to click Get Show times, and it knows, you can click on Location, you get a login or you can click on Location and type in your actual location. It already know that I am in Phoenix, so I'll hit back out of there. So we've got Map theatres or show times dates. If I click show times date today, we'll click today, and then it shows you the show times, at all the theatres near me. Desert Ridge is playing at 10:20am up to 10:00pm; Harkins, etc. You can see by which theatre it's playing. Also if you don't want to click on shows time dates, you can click on Map Theatres; again it knows where I am. All those web pins are different theatres. Click on that red pin so it goes to Desert Ridge, hit Go, and this shows you all of the movies that are playing in that theatre and what time. Awesome, awesome feature. So wherever you are you can figure out which movie' playing, when it's playing and at what theatre it's playing. So if we hit back out of that, keep hitting back, to get back to the Homepage. My Movies are just movies that you are interested in. Theatres, again, nearby; these are all the theatres nearby, you can click on any of those and will bring up the running time for all the movies playing, or what movies are playing. And then if you click on DVD, you'll see there's some options: New Releases, Coming Soon, and Browse. So you can see what's coming out soon, you can see the reviews, you can watch the trailers, do all the things you can for the current movies as well. So the Five Year Engagement is coming out September 4th. Great App! One other thing you can do up top, click the Search icon you can type in a movie, let's say "Half Baked" just for all you kids out there. 29 percent! 29 percent of critics, 80 percent of users. But again, you can search for any movie you want; it's a great app. If any time, the best reason to have this app is if you're somewhere and you want to know what movie is playing in what theatre, or what movies are showing in a certain theatre, this is the app for you.
