In geography and geology, a cliff is a vertical, or near vertical, rock exposure. Cliffs are formed as erosion landforms due to the processes of erosion and weathering that produce them. Cliffs are common on coasts, in mountainous areas, escarpments and along rivers. Cliffs are usually formed by rock that is resistant to erosion and weathering. Sedimentary rocks most likely to form cliffs include sandstone, limestone, chalk, and dolomite. Igneous rocks such as granite and basalt also often form cliffs.
An escarpment (or scarp) is a type of cliff, formed by the movement of a geologic fault, or a landslide.
Most cliffs have some form of scree slope at their base. In arid areas or under high cliffs, these are generally exposed jumbles of fallen rock. In areas of higher moisture, a soil slope may obscure the talus. Many cliffs also feature tributary waterfalls or rock shelters. Sometimes a cliff peters out at the end of a ridge, with tea tables or other types of rock columns remaining. Coastal erosion may lead to the formation of sea cliffs along a receding coastline.
Clifford Henry Frazier (born November 23, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri) is a former American football player. He was a defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs, starting 12 of 14 games for the Chiefs in 1977. He had played college football for the UCLA Bruins, where he was a member of their 1976 Rose Bowl Game championship team. He was selected for the College All-Star Game after his senior year.
Frazier was the 41st pick in the 2nd round of the 1976 NFL draft by the Chiefs. He was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles before the 1976 season in exchange for two future draft picks. The Eagles traded him to the Los Angeles Rams after the season, but the Rams cut him. The Chiefs re-signed him before the 1977 season. After one season with the Chiefs, Frazier decided to retire.

This is another song sung at a service at Sparks Christian Fellowship years ago. I located all the cassettes I had been given by the former worship pastor 9Greg, on guitar on this song) and was particularly looking for songs sung with Brad Templin, my amazing worship partner who died not too long ago. His voice and his friendship are missed. I want to thank Missy Moss for her sound-engineering talent, Cliff Frazier for his wonderful bass playing and Alan Sullivan for always keeping the tempo. Thanks to his wife, Kathy Sullivan, as well for her wonderful back-ups, although I don't hear her in this song, which is too bad. Our Lord is faithful and forgiving, for which I am eternally grateful.

The Florida Highway Patrol closed part of State Road 50 Tuesday night as a brush fire burned about 400 acres in Brevard County. The westbound lanes of S.R. 50 along St. Johns National Wildlife Refuge, west of Interstate 95, were closed about 10 p.m. because of the fire, troopers said. The eastbound lanes were shut at the Orange-Brevard County line, at the St. John's River bridge. Eastbound drivers can use S.R. 520 or S.R. 528 as an alternative. The Florida Forest Service named the fire "Old 50" and asked motorists near S.R. 50 and I-95 to use extreme caution because the smoke was making it hard to see, Florida Fire Service spokesman Cliff Frazier said. The fire, north of S.R. 50, was first reported at 9:48 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. It was unknown late Tuesday when the ...
