Ich bin

"Ich bin" (English: I Am) is a song recorded by German singer LaFee. The song was released as the lead single of her fifth studio album Frei on 10 June 2011.

Background

On 4 June 2011, Christina presented the new single "Ich bin" at the German show The Dome, which was her first live performance since 2009.

Ich will

"Ich Will" (German for I Want) is a single by Rammstein. It was originally released in Germany on September 10, 2001. Since it was released the day before the September 11, 2001 attacks, many channels did not air the music video (which was to debut on U.S. television the night of September 11, 2001). The German single contains a live cover version of The Ramones' song "Pet Sematary", sung by keyboardist Flake.

Music video

The music video of "Ich Will" features the band members staging a bank robbery, making it seem as realistic as possible. The video shows both the robbery and its aftermath, and moves between these two scenes.

The robbery: The band is shown entering a bank wearing stockings over their heads, except for Flake, who has a very large and elaborate bomb strapped to his chest. They quickly remove their masks and head for the front desk. A bank employee reaches for the panic button, but she is seen Richard, who presses her hand against the button, intentionally triggering the alarm. The woman faints, and Richard dances with her unconscious body until Ollie confirms that the Polizei and Media have arrived. The group continues to terrorize the hostages and vandalize the bank, while also fantasizing about the media storm when they exit. In another room, Till is giving a live interview to the an press, who appear to be slain in the next scene, though the broadcast continues. As the band (excluding Flake) exit the bank unarmed, they are swarmed by members of the Spezialeinsatzkommando instead of the media as anticipated. Despite this the band seems to revel in the attention they are getting, and shortly after the timer on Flake's bomb reaches zero. The video quickly flicks through a series of short clips from some of Rammstein's other music videos,(Seemann, Du hast, Du riechst so gut '95, Du riechst so gut '98, Stripped and Sonne) then comes to an end.

Zeit

Zeit (English: Time) is the third album by the German electronic music group Tangerine Dream. A double LP, it was released in August 1972, being the first release featuring Peter Baumann, who joined then-current members Christopher Franke and Edgar Froese. Zeit is subtitled Largo in Four Movements.

Overview

The style of this album is slower and more atmospheric than their previous albums. Florian Fricke from the Munich-based group Popol Vuh, playing Moog synthesizer, and four cellists appear on the first track. The album cover depicts a solar eclipse.

As explained by Paul Russell for the 2002 reissue, "Zeit, which means 'time', was based on the philosophy that time was in fact motionless and only existed in our own minds." And concluding, "Without doubt Zeit is a Krautrock master work still capable of surprises without having to shock. The album which took the band to the edge of international recognition, still sounds timeless 30 years on."

Music critics often refer to Zeit as being one of the first (or perhaps the first) examples of dark ambient music.

Curse

A curse (also called a jinx, hex or execration) is any expressed wish that some form of adversity or misfortune will befall or attach to some other entity—one or more persons, a place, or an object. In particular, "curse" may refer to a wish that harm or hurt will be inflicted by any supernatural powers, such as a spell, a prayer, an imprecation, an execration, magic, witchcraft, God, a natural force, or a spirit. In many belief systems, the curse itself (or accompanying ritual) is considered to have some causative force in the result. To reverse or eliminate a curse is called removal or breaking, and is often believed to require equally elaborate rituals or prayers.

The study of the forms of curses comprise a significant proportion of the study of both folk religion and folklore. The deliberate attempt to levy curses is often part of the practice of magic. In Hindu culture the Sage or Rishi is believed to have the power to bless and curse. Examples include the curse placed by Rishi Bhrigu on king Nahusha and the one placed by Rishi Devala. Stuart Ashen

Stuart Ashen (born 16 December 1976), commonly known by his online alias Ashens /ˈæʃənz/, is a British reviewer of various (usually poor quality) products, comedian, animator and actor.

Early life

Ashen is from Heartsease Estate, Norwich and attended Heartsease High School. He previously worked for PC World and Norwich Union.

Career

Ashen made his first television appearance on a 2008 episode of Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe, where he played a cameo role as Mr Noseybonk, a character from the 80's BBC children's show Jigsaw.

Ashen guest starred on The Armstrong and Miller Show for their "The Node" segment in October 2009.

In 2010, Ashen created the series Ashen's Tech Dump for BBC Online Comedy. In 2011 Ashens co-starred alongside Karen Hayley in another BBC Online Comedy series Back Space. In 2012 he starred as himself in The Proxy, a sci-fi webseries produced by ChannelFlip in partnership with Dell Alienware. The series took eight days to film, consists of 10 episodes and won a Marketing Week "Engage Award" in the "Gaming and Entertainment" section.
