Martina Eileen delas Alas, professionally known as Ai-Ai delas Alas (born November 11, 1964), is a Filipino actress of film and television, dubbed as the "Philippine Queen of Comedy" and "Comedy Concert Queen". Delas Alas first gained nationwide recognition for her movie Ang Tanging Ina which became a blockbuster hit. Due to the movie's popularity, it received a TV series spin-off with Alas again taking the lead role. The movie eventually spawned two sequels: Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat and Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na 'To!).
Delas Alas is the daughter of Engr. Rosendo delas Alas (1920–2008) and Gregoria delas Alas née Hernández (died 30 December 2013), and was later adopted by her spinster aunt, Justa delas Alas. She earned a Mass Communication degree from Far Eastern University (FEU) in 1985.
She was married to actor Miguel Vera with whom she had two children, she also has a son from a previous relationship. Before acting, she worked as a sales assistant in a department store and also performed as a stand-up comic in comedy bars around Metro Manila. She married 28-year-old American businessman Jed Salang on April 3, 2013. Her marriage to Salang, who is 20 years her junior, ended after a month, with delas Alas confirming their separation on May 19.
