We played an hour long live session at Hard Rock Cafe in London last week which will be broadcast in full on Absolute Radio on Sunday 31st May at 9pm.

During the tour Tim will be doing a couple of appearances in Glasgow and Worthing before our shows.

For this year’s Record Store Day on 18 April two versions of the Modern Nature track Emilie will be released on Tim’s O Genesis label.

Limited to 500 copies the 7” will feature Nashville singer-songwriter Laura Cantrell’s ‘reply’ version of the song entitled Emanuel along with DFA recording artist Sinkane’s cover of Emilie.

The Charlatans were named Q Hereos at the Q Awards 2014 on Wednesday afternoon in London. Thanks to everyone who has shown us support, been to see us or brought a record.

The Charlatans release their twelfth album, Modern Nature on 26th January 2015.

The first full single from the new record will be So Oh which is out on 1st December. Listen to it here and pre-order a copy from the store.

Featuring eleven new tracks, including the recent limited edition 7” Talking In Tones, Modern Nature was produced by The Charlatans and Jim Spencer and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Portishead).

The album features contributions from the bands’ three temporary drummers - Pete Salisbury of The Verve, Stephen Morris of New Order and Gabriel Gurnsey of Factory Floor, to Kate Bushs’ backing singer Melanie Marshall and Sandra Marvin, strings by Sean O’ Hagan and brass courtesy of Dexys’ Big Jim Paterson.

The Charlatans will play a UK tour in March 2015 following the release of their new album Modern Nature on 26th January. Pete Salisbury from The Verve will once again be drumming at the shows.

Limited to just 500 copies Talking In Tones was released on 7" vinyl via The Quietus Phonographic Corporation.

The single features a remix from TQPC label mates Grumbling Fur. The 'Fur's Daniel O'Sullivan and Alexander Tucker also designed the artwork.

The video features Bafta nominated actor Nico Mirallegro and was directed by Factory Floor’s Nik Void. Watch the video here.

The Charlatans will be playing a one off, special single launch gig at the Garage in London tonight (20.10.14) featuring Grumbling Fur in support, tickets are sold out.
