He is demanding the release of records pertaining to CIA officer George Joannides relating to the Kennedy assassination. The House Select committee was set up in the late 1970s specifically to investigate the JFK assassination, the Dr Martin Luther King assassination and the attempted assassination of Governor George Wallace. The CIA's George Joannides' was given the role as "liaison" if you will, between the House Select Committee on Assassinations and the information from the CIA. George Joannides controlled the information that was given to the House Select Committee and what was hidden from them. What follows in our story tonight is one of complete CIA deception and purposeful misdirection.
