Best or The Best may refer to:
The Best is a Sony PlayStation budget range in Japan and parts of Asia. Similar budget ranges include Greatest Hits in North America, Essentials in PAL regions and BigHit Series in Korea.
For the PlayStation, The Best was followed by PSone Books when the PSone was released in 2001. These games were top selling popular titles that were made available again in a low-priced version under this new label. Games released under the PSone Books label did not come in standard jewel cases like other PlayStation games, but instead came packaged in slim jewel cases. The games' instruction booklets were typically placed outside of the case, with both booklet and cased sealed in plastic packaging. The software contained on the discs was usually the original retail game, however bug fixes were applied for a few titles. PSone Books titles were still being released until late 2006.
The first PlayStation 3 The Best titles were released on March 19, 2008. However Armored Core 4 had been prior released as early as January 10, 2008 in the Best Collection.
Ragazza alla pari (internationally released as The Best and Au-Pair Girl) is a 1976 commedia sexy all'italiana directed by Mino Guerrini.
Ballı (literally "(place) with honey") is a Turkish place name that may refer to the following places in Turkey:
Ball is the third studio album by the rock band Iron Butterfly, released in January 17 1969. After the enormous success of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", Iron Butterfly modified its acid-rock sound somewhat and experimented with more melodic compositions. The band's trademark heavy guitars, however, are still evident on such tracks as "In the Time of Our Lives" and "It Must Be Love". The album reached #3 in the charts, making Ball more immediately successful than In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. Ball was certified Gold in March 1969. It also spawned two minor hit singles: "Soul Experience", an uncharacteristically uplifting song for the group, went to #75 on the Billboard charts, and despite its nightmarish musical tones and morbid lyrics, "In the Time of Our Lives" managed to reach #96. This is the second and final studio album to feature the famous lineup of Ingle, Bushy, Dorman and Brann.
In 1999, Collector's Choice Music released Ball with two bonus tracks, "I Can't Help But Deceive You Little Girl" and "To Be Alone", which previously were available only on a 7" single although "I Can't Help But Deceive You Little Girl" had been released on the 1993 compilation Light And Heavy.
In Canada and in the United States, the term football refers to a prolate spheroid ball used in the context of playing Gridiron football. Footballs are often made of cow hide leather, as such a material is required in professional and collegiate football. Footballs used in recreation, and in organised youth leagues, may be made of rubber or plastic materials (the high school football rulebooks still allow the inexpensive all-rubber footballs, though they are less common than leather).
In the 1860s, manufactured inflatable balls were introduced through the innovations of shoemaker Richard Lindon. These were much more regular in shape than the handmade balls of earlier times, making kicking and carrying easier. These early footballs were plum-shaped.
The football changed in 1934, with a rule change that tapered the ball at the ends more and reduced the size around the middle. This new, sleeker ball made it much easier to handle, particularly for passers.
The Asia was a merchant ship built by A. Hall & Company at Aberdeen in 1818. She made eight voyages between 1820 and 1836 transporting convicts from Britain to Australia. At the same time she served in private trade to India as a licensed ship. She then served to carry immigrants on the same route until c.1855.
Under the command of Jason Morice, she left Sheerness, England on 3 September 1820 with 190 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 28 December. One convict died during the voyage.
On her second convict voyage, under the command of Thomas Ried, she departed England on 4 April 1822, with 190 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 24 July 1822. One convict died during the voyage. She left Sydney on 8 September bound for Bombay.
On her third convict voyage, under the command of Thomas Stead, she left Cork, Ireland on 29 October 1824 with 190 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 22 February 1825. No convicts died during the voyage. She left Sydney on 27 March bound for Calcutta.
In a little while from now
If I'm not feeling any less sour
I promised myself, to treat myself
And visit a nearby tower
And climbing to the top
Throw myself off
In an effort to, make clear to whoever
What it's like when you're shattered
Left standing in the lurch
At a church where people saying
My God, that's tough, she stood him up
No point in us remaining
May as well go home
As I did on my own
Alone again, naturally
To think that only yesterday
I was cheerful, bright and gay
Looking forward to wouldn't do
The role I was about to play
But, as if to knock me down
Reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch
Cut me into little pieces
Leaving me to doubt
Talk about God in His mercy
Who, if He really does exist
Why did He desert me?
And in my hour of need
I truly am, indeed
Alone again, naturally
It seems to me
That there are more hearts
Broken in the world
That can't be mended
Left unattended
What do we do?
What do we do?
Alone again, naturally
Now, looking back over the years
And whatever else that appears
I remember I cried when my father died
Never wishing to hide the tears
And at sixty-five years old
My mother, God rest her soul
Couldn't understand why the only man
She had ever loved had been taken
Leaving her to start
With a heart so badly broken
Despite encouragement from me
No words were ever spoken
And when she passed away
I cried and cried all day
Alone again, naturally
Alone again, naturally
