Alex Dunbar (born 23 April 1990 in Dumfries) is a Scottish international professional rugby union player. He currently plays club rugby for Glasgow Warriors in the RaboDirect Pro12.
Born in Dumfries and a former pupil of Lockerbie Academy, Dunbar graduated in 2008 with an HNC from the Scottish Agricultural College at Auchincruive in Ayrshire.
He has appeared for Glasgow at every age level from under-14 to under-18 and was Annan rugby club under-18 player of the year in both 2005 and 2006 and the following season. He moved from Annan RFC to Selkirk RFC in 2008.
A Scottish Rugby Academy contracted player, he made his Glasgow Warriors debut in the 25–13 win against Ulster at Ravenhill in December 2009.
Dunbar was the only Scot (and only Scottish based player) to be included in the Rabodirect Pro 12 'Dream team' for the 2013/14 season. He agreed a new Glasgow contact until 2017 and helped Glasgow finish 2nd in the league.
Dunbar has played for Scotland at under-17, under-18 and under-20 level.

Dunbar (Scots [dʌnˈbaɾ]) is a town in East Lothian on the southeast coast of Scotland, approximately 28 miles (45 km) east of Edinburgh and 28 miles (45 km) from the English Border at Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Dunbar is a former Royal Burgh and gave its name to an ecclesiastical and civil parish. The parish extends around 7½ miles east to west and is 3½ miles deep at greatest extent (12 x 5.5 kilometres) or 11¼ square miles (c. 3000 hectares) and contains the villages of West Barns, Belhaven, East Barns (abandoned) and several hamlets and farms.
Its strategic position gave rise to a history full of incident and strife but Dunbar has become a quiet dormitory town popular with workers in nearby Edinburgh, who find it an affordable alternative to the capital itself. Until the 1960s the population of the town was little more than 3,500.
The town is served by Dunbar railway station. Dunbar is home to the Dunbar Lifeboat Station, the second oldest RNLI station in Scotland.
Six Nations may refer to:
The Six Nations Championship is an annual international rugby union competition involving six European sides: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. It is sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland. The current champions are Ireland, having won the 2015 Tournament.
The Six Nations is the successor to the Home Nations Championship (1883–1909 and 1932–39), played between teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, which was the first international rugby union tournament. With the addition of France, this became Five Nations Championship (1910–31 and 1947–99), which in turn became the Six Nations Championship with the addition of Italy. The winners of the Six Nations Championship are sometimes unofficially referred to in the media as the European Champions or Northern Hemisphere Champions. Ireland are the 2015 champions, having finished on equal table points with Wales and England but winning the trophy by virtue of achieving a higher match points difference.
Alex is a common name used in multiple languages. In English, it is usually a diminutive of the male given name Alexander, or its female equivalent Alexandra or Alexandria. Aleck or Alec is the Scottish form of Alex. The East European male name Alexey (Aleksei, Alexis, Aleksa) is also sometimes shortened to Alex. It is a commonly used nickname in Spanish for Alejandro, Alexandro, Alejandrino and Alexandrino, and related names like Alexa and Alexis.

Post-match reaction: Glasgow head coach Gregor Townsend told BBC Scotland: "After their first try, I thought the way we played was great. We took them on with ball in hand and we also fronted up defensively. "They have some brilliant attacking players and we knew the game would be open. We had to take our opportunities which we did, especially the one after half-time, and then we had to defend well, which we certainly did in the second half. "...
