Crazy Horse is a 1996 film based on the true story of Crazy Horse, Native American war leader of the Oglala Lakota, directed by John Irvin. It stars Michael Greyeyes as the titular role, Ned Beatty as Dr. McGillicuddy, Irene Bedard as Black Buffalo Woman, Wes Studi as Red Cloud and Peter Horton as George Armstrong Custer.
Other First Nation stars include Jimmy Herman as Conquering Bear, August Schellenberg as Sitting Bull, Gordon Tootoosis as Akicita and Lorne Cardinal as Young Man Afraid.
It was shot in Black Hills, South Dakota.

Plot: BOOGIE TOWN, a modern day West side Story for the hip hop generation, takes place in a New York City of the future. Plot: In this expanded theatrical release version of the "Custer" TV series pilot, Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer has been reinstated and assigned to command the 7th Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hays. The regiment has become a ragtag outfit of thieves and ruffians and Custer must whip the soldiers into shape to fight, the Kiowa, Sioux and Blackfoot tribes who confront them. These tribes are being supplied shotguns by a white gunrunner and Custer and his men must rescue General Terry and the Fifth Cavalry Regiment from annihilation when they are ambushed and trapped by a large Kiowa war party.

Plot: A look at what happened to Custer and his troops at the Battle of Little Big Horn. Plot: Chief Sitting Bull of the Sioux tribe is forced by the Indian-hating General Custer to react with violence, resulting in the famous Last Stand at Little Bighorn. Parrish, a friend to the Sioux, tries to prevent the bloodshed, but is court- martialed for "collaborating" with the enemy. Sitting Bull, however, manages to intercede with President Grant on Parrish's behalf.
