Wycombe Wanderers vs Staines Town FC (Pre-season - 09/07/2011)
Wycombe Wanderers vs Staines Town FC (Pre-season - 09/07/2011)
Pre-season friendly vs Staines Town. It was 4-0 by half time and it was 5-0 at full time. Goal scorers (Beavon, 2x Mcclure, Graham, Ibe) All the new signings, except Elliot Benyon played and all impressed. Staines didnt play well at all lost the ball far too many times and never really threatened. John Halls 7/10 - Lost the ball a few times but played some good football and won the ball back aswell. Will be good to watch him in the coming season as hes good passing player and can play at centre back to. Joel Grant 8/10 - His pace scared defenders and his first touch and passing was pretty good too. I'm comparing him to Matty Phillips as he's that sort of player who will cut in with his trickery and either shoot or try and set up one of his team mates. He looks like a promising player. Ben Harding 7.5/10 - Played only 20 odd minutes till he met a dodgy head collison when he went to win the ball in the air except from that he played well balled very good passing football and can cross very well :) Scott Donnelly 6/10 - Played a part in the first few goals with his quick feet and passing except from that was bit boring to watch for a decent amount of the first half, was closed down far to much and had little time to get rid of the ball from his feet. James Tunnicliffe 7/10 - Won the ball in the air almost every time and is a decent force in the box too. Passed the ball around well at the back. *Special mentions* Jordan Ibe 8/10 - 15 year old striker scored a cracking goal in ...

Wycombe Wanderers 4-1 Queens Park Rangers (2002/03 Season)
Action from Wycombe's 4-1 thrashing of QPR in August 2002. 2 players sent off for each side meant that the teams finished 9 men apiece. A trend that was repeated in QPR's narrow 4-3 victory at Loftus Road later that year
