Fans flock to Silicon Valley Comic Con
Brought to Silicon Valley by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, this new Comic Con features top celebrities, comics, independent artists, cos-play, video games, music, and apps, in a joyous collision of entertainment and electronics.
Fans posed with their favorite characters from "Star Wars", "Hunger Games", "Ghostbusters" and other movie hits and took photos with celebrities, including "Star Trek" actor, William Shatner; Marvel Comics founder Stan Lee; "Deadpool" director Tim Miller; and actors Jeremy Renner and Nathan Fillion.
One of the most popular events was a panel discussion with "Back to the Future" actors Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, and Christopher Lloyd to talk about the 30th anniversary of the blockbuster movie franchise.
Comic Con has been held regularly in San Diego since 1970. But this is the first Silicon Valley Comic Con, bringing together America's two greatest superheroes: Pop Culture and Technology.
