These tracks are taken from a cd called "The Collected Broadcasts of Idi Amin". The guy who is doing the voice is the well known topical comedian John Bird. In order to find any of these tracks funny you need to kinda know about Idi Amin. OK here we go. Idi Amin was a Ugandan dictator (Watch "the last king of Scotland " if your that interested) who was essentially a complete meat-head. He had no sense of the word negotiate, it was his way or no way. He repeatedly beat up his ministers and killed lots of them when they wouldn't agree with him. He also kicked all the Asians out of Uganda for some reason. He also always thought there was a Coup de ta against him. Yeh A complete Moron.

A credit crunch is a sudden reduction in the general availability of loans (or credit), or a sudden increase in the cost of obtaining loans from banks.
There are a number of reasons why banks may suddenly increase the costs of borrowing or make borrowing more difficult. It may be due to an anticipated decline in value of the collateral used by the banks when issuing loans, or even an increased perception of risk regarding the solvency of other banks within the banking system. It may be due to a change in monetary conditions (for example, where the central bank suddenly and unexpectedly raises interest rates or reserve requirements) or even may be due to the central government imposing direct credit controls or instructing the banks not to engage in further lending activity.
Background and causes:
A credit crunch is often caused by a sustained period of careless and inappropriate lending which results in losses for lending institutions and investors in debt when the loans turn sour and the full extent of bad debts becomes known. These institutions may then reduce the availability of credit, and increase the cost of accessing credit by raising interest rates. In some cases lenders may be unable to lend further, even if they wish, as a result of earlier losses.
The crunch is generally caused by a reduction in the market prices of previously "overinflated" assets and refers to the financial crisis that results from the price collapse. In contrast, a liquidity crisis is triggered when an otherwise sound business finds itself temporarily incapable of accessing the bridge finance it needs to expand its business or smooth its cash flow payments. In this case, accessing additional credit lines and "trading through" the crisis can allow the business to navigate its way through the problem and ensure its continued solvency and viability. It is often difficult to know, in the midst of a crisis, whether distressed businesses are experiencing a crisis of solvency or a temporary liquidity crisis.
In the case of a credit crunch, it may be preferable to "mark to market" - and if necessary, sell or go into liquidation if the capital of the business affected is insufficient to survive the post-boom phase of the credit cycle. In the case of a liquidity crisis on the other hand, it may be preferable to attempt to access additional lines of credit, as opportunities for growth may exist once the liquidity crisis is overcome.
A prolonged credit crunch is the opposite of cheap, easy and plentiful lending practices (sometimes referred to as "easy money" or "loose credit"). During the upward phase in the credit cycle, asset prices may experience bouts of frenzied competitive, leveraged bidding, inducing hyperinflation in a particular asset market. This can then cause a speculative price "bubble" to develop. As this upswing in new debt creation also increases the money supply and stimulates economic activity, this also tends to temporarily raise economic growth and employment.
Often it is only in retrospect that participants in an economic bubble realize that the point of collapse was obvious. In this respect, economic bubbles can have dynamic characteristics not unlike Ponzi schemes or Pyramid schemes.
As prominent Cambridge economist John Maynard Keynes observed in 1931 during the Great Depression: "A sound banker, alas, is not one who foresees danger and avoids it, but one who, when he is ruined, is ruined in a conventional way along with his fellows, so that no one can really blame him."

John Bird (actor)
John Bird (born 22 November 1936) is an English satirist, actor and comedian, best known for his work with John Fortune.
Early life
John Bird was Born in Bulwell, Nottingham, England, and attended High Pavement Grammar School, Nottingham. He briefly joined the Socialist Party of Great Britain, while at the school. He went on to King's College, Cambridge (where he was to meet John Fortune). He became well known during the television satire boom of the 1960s, appearing in That Was The Week That Was, the title of which was coined by Bird. Bird was intended by Ned Sherrin for David Frost's role in the series, but was committed elsewhere. He also appeared in the television programmes Not So Much a Programme, More a Way of Life, A Very Peculiar Practice and My Father Knew Lloyd George, as well as in The Secret Policeman's Other Ball.
Acting career
He has also acted straight and comic roles in several television series and in films such as A Dandy in Aspic (1968), 30 Is a Dangerous Age, Cynthia (1968), This, That and the Other (1969), Take A Girl Like You (1970), Jabberwocky (1977), The Seven-Per-Cent Solution (1976), and Yellow Pages (1988).

There are a number of reasons why banks may suddenly increase the costs of borrowing or make borrowing more difficult. It may be due to a change in monetary conditions (for example, where the central bank suddenly and unexpectedly raises interest rates or reserve requirements) or even may be due to the central government imposing direct credit controls or instructing the banks not to engage in further lending activity.
Background and causes:
A credit crunch is often caused by a sustained period of careless and inappropriate lending which results in losses for lending institutions and investors in debt when the loans turn sour and the full extent of bad debts becomes known. These institutions may then reduce the availability of credit, and increase the cost of accessing credit by raising interest rates. In some cases lenders may be unable to lend further, even if they wish, as a result of earlier losses.
The crunch is generally caused by a reduction in the market prices of previously "overinflated" assets and refers to the financial crisis that results from the price collapse. In contrast, a liquidity crisis is triggered when an otherwise sound business finds itself temporarily incapable of accessing the bridge finance it needs to expand its business or smooth its cash flow payments. In this case, accessing additional credit lines and "trading through" the crisis can allow the business to navigate its way through the problem and ensure its continued solvency and viability. It is often difficult to know, in the midst of a crisis, whether distressed businesses are experiencing a crisis of solvency or a temporary liquidity crisis.
In the case of a credit crunch, it may be preferable to "mark to market" - and if necessary, sell or go into liquidation if the capital of the business affected is insufficient to survive the post-boom phase of the credit cycle. In the case of a liquidity crisis on the other hand, it may be preferable to attempt to access additional lines of credit, as opportunities for growth may exist once the liquidity crisis is overcome.
A prolonged credit crunch is the opposite of cheap, easy and plentiful lending practices (sometimes referred to as "easy money" or "loose credit"). During the upward phase in the credit cycle, asset prices may experience bouts of frenzied competitive, leveraged bidding, inducing hyperinflation in a particular asset market. This can then cause a speculative price "bubble" to develop. As this upswing in new debt creation also increases the money supply and stimulates economic activity, this also tends to temporarily raise economic growth and employment.
Often it is only in retrospect that participants in an economic bubble realize that the point of collapse was obvious. In this respect, economic bubbles can have dynamic characteristics not unlike Ponzi schemes or Pyramid schemes.

A couple weeks ago, Ben Affleck announced he would not direct The Batman, but would remain on board to star and produce. Ever since, Warner Bros. has been searching for directors, and now according to Variety, they’ve landed on War for the Planet of the Apes helmer Matt Reeves. Variety reports that Reeves was always high on the list, but THR also added that the studio was also looking at Ridley Scott and Fede Alvarez to helm the movie as well.
Marvel and Disney debuted a new behind the scenes video announcing the official start of filming for Avengers Infinity War. In the video we see Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt, and new Spider-Man himself Tom Holland all together on the inaugural day of shooting. The video showcased some brief behind-the-scenes footage as well as new concept art of Josh Brolin as Thanos and Rocket Raccoon fighting alongside Thor.
It’s Monday which means it’s time for the weekend box office report. The LEGO Batman Movie took the No 1 spot with an opening weekend debut of $55.6 million. The LEGO Movie spin-off also opened with $37 million internationally for a combined $92.6 million worldwide debut. In the No 2 spot was Universal's Fifty Shades Darker. The second movie in the Fifty Shades franchise finished with a slightly stronger than expected $46.8 million. The movie also delivered $100.1 million overseas, the fourth largest international opening weekend ever for an R-rated film, behind the original Fifty Shades of Grey. In the No 3 spot was John Wick Chapter 2. The movie debuted with $30 million at the domestic box office and $10.6 million internationally for a combined $40.6 million. In the No 4 spot was Universal's Split; dropping just 35.4% with $9.3 million as its domestic total climbs to $112.3 million. And in the No 5 spot was Hidden Figures - earning $8 million with a domestic total now at an impressive $131.4 million.

Deadline reports that talks between Will Smith and Disney have ended and Smith will not be starring in Dumbo, the Tim Burton-directed live-action adaptation of the classic 1941 animated film. The report states Smith didn’t commit for “usual reasons” that include salary and scheduling.
Universal Pictures announced Friday that Joel and Ethan Coen have come in to script the studio’s Scarface remake, with THR also reporting that Hell or High Water director David Mackenzie and Patriot’s Day director Peter Berg are in talks with Universal to helm the movie. It was recently revealed that Magnificent Seven director Antoine Fuqua had dropped out of directing in order to finish work on the Equalizer sequel, with Diego Luna also revealed to be attached to star.
Michael Douglas has confirmed via his Facebook page that he will indeed reprise his role as Hank Pym in Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. He confirmed his involvement with a picture taken in front of the original Ant-Man poster, saying: “Need to start growing the goatee now.”

George Pig – He is Peppa's little brother. He is in most episodes and often seen in possession of his toy dinosaur, which is named "Mr. Dinosaur." He cries in many episodes with his trademark showers of tears and crying sound. Often when he cries it has to do with Peppa teasing him. George's sounds are performed by Oliver and Alice May. George is two years old as shown in the episode George's Birthday.
Mummy Pig – Mummy Pig is Peppa and George's mother. She is voiced by Morwenna Banks. Mummy Pig does some work from home on a computer. She also worked as a firefighter in series 3.
Daddy Pig – Daddy Pig is Peppa and George's father. He works as an architect, as shown in the episode The New House. He is voiced by Richard Ridings.
Grandpa Pig — Grandpa Pig is Mummy Pig's father. He loves gardening and sailing. Although the two fight in a few episodes, he's best friends with Granddad Dog. He has a trackless train named Gertrude. He is voiced by David Graham.
Granny Pig — Granny Pig is Mummy Pig's mother. She is a fan of perfume. She grows apples in an orchard near her house along with vegetables in her own garden next to her house. She has four chickens, and she is voiced by Frances White.
Uncle Pig – Uncle Pig is Daddy Pig's brother, and is Aunty Pig's husband and Chloe and Baby Alexander's father. He is voiced by John Sparkes who also narrates the series.
Auntie Pig – Auntie Pig is Uncle Pig's wife and Chloe and Baby Alexander's mother. She is voiced by Alison Snowden (series 1-2) and Judy Flynn (series 3-4).

During the Profumo affair, however, he became one of the programme's chief targets for derision. After two successful seasons in 1962 and 1963, the programme did not return in 1964, as this was a General Election year and the BBC decided it would be unduly influential.
That's the official version. In reality it was probably pulled because of the controversial episode broadcast in November 1963 the day after John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
At the end of each episode, Frost would usually sign off with: "That was the week, that was." At the end of the final programme he announced: "That was That Was The Week That Was...that was."
Historians have identified TW3 as breaking ground in comedy and broadcasting. Graham McCann said it challenged the "convention that television should not acknowledge that it is television; the show made no attempt to hide its cameras, allowed the microphone boom to intrude and often revealed other nuts and bolts of studio technology." In the 1960s, this was unusual and gave the programme an exciting, modern feel. TW3 also flouted conventions by adopting "a relaxed attitude to its running time: loosely structured and open-ended, it seemed to last just as long as it wanted and needed to last, even if that meant going beyond the advertised time for the ending [...] the real controversy of course, was caused by the content."
Its subject matter has also been praised. McCann says: "TW3...did its research, thought its arguments through and seemed unafraid of anything or anyone... Every hypocrisy was highlighted and each contradiction was held up for sardonic inspection. Hugh Gaitskell. During the course of the dinner, I found myself in an increasingly heated argument with Gaitskell over whether the UK should join what was then the European Economic Community.
He was passionately opposed, and I was in favour of it. He became more and more exercised, his face got redder and redder, and I was afraid he was about to burst a blood vessel. Then, a few days later, and still only in his fifties, he dropped down dead. I was overcome with guilt, fearing that I may have precipitated his untimely end. Perhaps my present stance on the EU is some kind of penance.

In 1979 Raymond Bessone's 28-year old pregnant daughter was killed when, returning from a family wedding, she crossed a damaged section of the M4 motorway guard rail and slammed into an oncoming Porsche. The two people in the Porsche, Bessone's daughter, her husband and two children, were all killed instantly in the horrific crash. Several weeks after the accident it was discovered that the male passenger killed in the Porsche was Brian Field, who had changed his name to Brian Carleton and was one of the organizers of the Great Train Robbery (1963).

Cast members included cartoonist Timothy Birdsall, political commentator Bernard Levin, and actors Lance Percival, who sang topical calypsos, many improvised to suggestions from the audience, Kenneth Cope, Roy Kinnear, Willie Rushton, Al Mancini, Robert Lang, Frankie Howerd, David Kernan and Millicent Martin. The last two were also singers and the programme opened with a song -- That Was The Week That Was -- sung by Martin to Ron Grainer's theme tune and enumerating topics in the news. Script-writers included John Albery, John Antrobus, John Betjeman, John Bird, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Peter Cook, Roald Dahl, Richard Ingrams, Lyndon Irving, Gerald Kaufman, Frank Muir, David Nobbs, Denis Norden, Bill Oddie, Dennis Potter, Eric Sykes, Kenneth Tynan, and Keith Waterhouse.

In 1979 Raymond Bessone's 28-year old pregnant daughter was killed when, returning from a family wedding, she crossed a damaged section of the M4 motorway guard rail and slammed into an oncoming Porsche. The two people in the Porsche, Bessone's daughter, her husband and two children, were all killed instantly in the horrific crash. Several weeks after the accident it was discovered that the male passenger killed in the Porsche was Brian Field, who had changed his name to Brian Carleton and was one of the organizers of the Great Train Robbery (1963).
