Hi, I'm
Michele Jaco for About.com and today I'm going to give you an overview of the
Venetian Hotel Food Court in Las Vegas.
About the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas
The Venetian is located in the middle of the
Las Vegas strip next to sister resort
The Palazzo and across
Las Vegas Blvd. from
Treasure Island and it has what's considered by numerous travel sites as one of the tastiest and most economical food courts in Las Vegas.
Venetian Hotel Las Vegas Eateries
Here are some of my favorite food court eateries.
First,
Nathan's Famous.
Yes,
Coney Island hot dogs and great salads but their Las Vegas specialty is chicken tenders, battered and prepared to order. You'll think you're back in
New York.
Next,
Wasabi Jane's Rice and
Noodle Works and
Panda Express. Wasabi Jane's Rice and Noodle Works isn't your typical
Asian fast food. Wasabi
Jane makes a great grilled
Salmon and they have several Asian noodle combos for a great price.
Panda Express serves up traditional Americanized
Chinese cuisine.
It's fresh and good at a reasonable price.
Now let's move onto
Italy with
Bella Panini, LA
Italian Kitchen and Trattoria Reggiano.
More Dining
Options at the Venetian Hotel
Bella Panini has a great healthy
Italian menu with Minestrone
Soup,
Fresh Fruit and lots of great salads.
LA Italian Kitchen boasts great Calzones,
Pizza and
Pasta. A little bit heavier than Bella Panini but very satisfying.
Trattoria Reggiano is a bit more upscale and a full service
Italian restaurant that also serves wine. It's also a bit more pricey.
Hamburger Options at the Venetian Hotel Las Vegas
Are you hungry for a hamburger? Well you've got 2 choices at the
Venetian Food Court:
Johnny Rockets and
Shake n Burger.
Johnny Rockets is the quintisential 50's diner.
Great hamburgers and fries. The handmade milkshakes and malts are amazing.
Plus you've got jukeboxes at the counter and a friendly staff.
Shake n Burger also serves up some great burgers and a wonderful and fast breakfast including sausage and eggs.
And speaking of chickens, Chickennow is a great place to eat. Their motto is No bones. No bull.
The World's
Best Tenders. And they deliver on that promise. They also have some
Indian spiced chicken kabobs if you want a flavor you usually don't get in a food court.
Deli Options in the Venetian Hotel Las Vegas
Now if you want a New York style deli,
Towers Delicatessen is the place to be. Bagels, pastrami, pickels, corned beef and all of your other favorites.
To round out the food court there are a couple of specialty shops. Haggen-Daaz,
Lime Ice, and New York Pretzel.
Of course Haggen-Daaz serves up some great frozen deserts and it also has a Smoothie Bar.
Lime Ice also serves up some great frozen treats, but most are the adult version. The
Jello and Lime Ice shots are good and strong.
And finally after you've tasted Lime Ice's alcoholic wonders you might need, maybe -- a pretzel to keep you standing upright. Well you'll pass New York Pretzel on the way out of the food court. And there's nothing better than a New York Pretzel.
Enough said.
And that was an overview of the Venetian Food Court.
